At the moment I'm on a Muchi Muchi Anago high, which means I'm in love with every band related to them. I really cannot get enough.
I'm a firm believer in not tying oneself to a single band exclusively. Though I do have favorites at specific moments in time. It's just allowed to change sporadically. wink

heart Quote: I'm a firm believer in not tying oneself to a single band exclusively. Though I do have favorites at specific moments in time. It's just allowed to change sporadically. wink Makes sense. I usually go through phases myself, but one band (like Guruguru) remains my #1. Overall I just have a bunch of favorites that never fade, even if I stop listening to them (like Black Sabbath, and uh... Missy Elliott *cough*) I'm still trying to figure out what happened to me loving MUCC. Guruguru just came along and pushed them out of the way.

I will always love metronome (or is it Sharaku >_>?) and for years and years, Plastic Tree was my number one, even if I wasn't listening to them much. But I guess my tastes have changed. Still love PT, but they're on a bit of a back burner these days. Maggie carries the torch on for me, I suppose. So basically, I agree with you. There are certain bands I will never ever stop loving, even if their music doesn't fit where I am in life at a given moment in time. Kaidan Guruguru are UNDEFEATABLE. It's true!! They win so hard.

... Geez, so many bands I don't even KNOW... and in my country, they call me a specialist... ^^;;;
Anyway. My favourites are Penicillin (even though I think Hakuei cannot sing if his life depended on it), Machine (the same as the above), L'arc en ciel (pop-ish... but oookay, I'm in love with their PVs...), Malice Mizer (only Gackt era, though), Gazette (ROCKZ), Aliene Ma'riage, AliceNine, D'espairs Ray, some others. Favourite artits? Meev, Gackt (ohmigosh, I luv Gackt... okaaaay, fangirl mode off), Hyde, hide... maybe some others, but I don't recall them at the moment ^^

XxB.l.a.c.k.S.t.a.r.xX Hardly anyone's ever heard of Vidoll though. Are you serious? They have HUGE popularity, both in Japan and overseas. (Of course, taking into consideration the scene we're working with.) If Vidoll play a livehouse as small as Narciss for instance (actually happened a while back), that's guaranteed to be a madhouse 0: I remember 3 years ago, when people actually didn't know them overseas, and yet there were already mp3s floating around mad
