Kal looked at her for a moment, as she spoke she doesn't look so good... in a moment of temporary insanity he called after her dropping the folder she'd handed him to his waist, "Do you need a ride..?"

Kal smiled to himself as she looked at the bike, and he could tell she liked them too. As for her excuse, she was right, but not exactly "I manage a study hall, first block, didn't you know..? I'll just call in and tell them i'll be a little late." Before she could make another excuse he put a hand on her shoulder to steer her towards the bike. Speaking softly for her headache he said, "I insist. I doubt you'll make it to your apartment in that condition." takeing an unnoticable glance around he saw that almost all of the students were gone from the front of the school, classes tarting no doubt. With that he took the tinted black helmet and handed it to her, no doubt relief from the sun's glare would prove useful right now.

Kal waited for her to put the helmet on before flicking the key back into the egnition and bringing the bike back to life. He'd ordered it specially, there was extra protection over the ears and normal people wouldn't have been able to see out of the tinted glass. Speed bikes were fun, but when you've got senses like they do, nothing is fun it its that loud. Kal tried to ignore the soft body behind him that was holding on very tightly and focussed on driving, as much as possible. At a stop light Kal flicked open the cell phone from his pocket and presed a speed dial speaking quickly to the woman on the other line, explaining that he would be late, but that a sub wasn't needed for the whole period. With that he thanked her and put it away just as the light flicked to green. Kal sped up and down the blocks, tyring not to take the corners as tightly as he normally did, for Serenity's sake until they slowed infront of her apartment.

Kal took the helmet from her smiling said a quick, " Hope i didn't dredge up any less-than-savory memories.." He turnned the bike off and kicked the stand up as he swung his leg from off the seat holding his elbow out as he face the building doors.

Kal knew pretty much what time it was anyway but checked his watch anyway hopeing his 'inner clock' was wrong. It wasn't. He sighed, to himself quietly well if i've already got the sub, why not just take the whole block off, it wouldn't make that much of a difference.. He smiled and held his arm out for her to take as he walked to her side. "What good is it to drive you all the way here, if you might not make it up the stairs..?"

Kal felt her leaning a bit more heavily as they were climbing more and more stairs. Ofcourse he was ready at anymoment to catch her if that light headedness proved to be more difficult than he thought. But they made it up the stairs and Kal followed her into her apartment for the second time closing the door behind himself as she seemed to rush in. Kal knew all the best tricks for hangovers but it felt a little awkward to be saying things like that, so unless she asked or her condition worsened he'd remain helpfully empathetic.

Kal had started a slow movement towards the slightly open window that wasn't seeming to help her condition much when she leaned up and spoke. He smiled and said a very quiet almost un-intelligeble, were it not for their sensitive hearing, "You're welcome.." As he closed the distance between himslef and the window, he leaned onthe edge of the bed slightly closeing the window and locking it as he pulled the drapes tightly shut.

Kal watched as she walked to stand next to him, without realising it he looked to her face studying it in the dull light, she was almost prettier in the dark, her hair glinting with the little sun rays and a gleam sparkling in her eyes, her cheeks softly shining with the murky yellow of the shaded glow. Kal felt her hand in his and without realy thinking about it he gripped her tiny, soft hand back. As she leaned into him he wrapped an arm around her small shoulders and breathed as her scent wafted up to his nose.
