S gave a warm smile towards the girl and her question. "From what I understand, a lost shapeshifting soul who is out for answers." He replied. His tone was low and calm as his gaze fell into the fire. As though on instinct, the man's hand went to Lotus's head and continued to gently caress his crown. "Now who are you, cat woman?"

The young man gave an amused silent chuckle at the comment as he shook his head at the comment. "It wouldn't be that easy." Turning his gaze to the woman, his eyes seemed like ice as they revealed no remorse or emotion. "Death is simply another journey in life." He uttered, his voice becoming very monotoned as he broke the gaze back into the fire.

"To all we know...we are all probably dead."

Syliri sat on a small moss covered stone that was a bit of ways from the rest of the group.

" My name is Syliri Van Tiel." She grumbled, moody and not the least bit calmed down from earlier. The whole situation made her nervous.

She eyed the new woman with distaste.

" I do believe you take all of us far too lightly. Besides, you see him ?" she pointed a stiff finger at Lotus, "-he will eat you if you try anything."

Shintanai turned her eyes to observe Raiixs stomach. "Sorry about the deer. It would've tasted great, but it also would have killed you."

Syliri watched the knife passively.

" What were you trying to do, harm my scratching post? 'Tisn't smart to throw your weapon away." Syliri quipped, her voice taking a mocking edge.

"This is beginning to get ridiculous." Kate thought on a sigh, and hopped down from her perch in the tree. She took a few cautious steps forward, sat down regally, and turned two contemptuous gold eyes at Shintanai. Her black tail wagged slowly, and she sent a thought to Puu.

" Should we watch her? She seems to be a liability."

Shintanai retrieved her knife and quickly positioned herself behind Kate, placing the knife close to her throat jokingly, then resheathing it.

((Please don't double-post, it really isn't necessary... just read all the previous posts and post a single one; there's also no need to quote in an RP that's just at a "steady" and not "hyper" pace such as this one...))

Lotus stirred a bit at the threat the elf gave to him. "Stupid fairy folks. Always thinkin' they are so bright and strong." S laughed inside his mind at the comment and shrugged his shoulders. The woman was a little obnoxious, but she was entertaining. Perhaps this was how S was in his other life? Mocking the supposive "strong and powerful". Either way, the young in black ignored the woman's hollow threats and boasts.

It was then that S and Lotus looked up as they too noticed the strange noise coming from the woods. Giving a weak smirk, the dark haired man got up from his seat and dusted the dirt from his pants and lower part of his black shirt. Glancing over to Lotus, he watch as the horned wolf stretched a bit as it shook off the relaxing feeling from its lean body. I guess we're gonna have a visitor. S mused to Lotus through his mind. Lotus gave a mental grunt. "I just hope its big and that perhaps it might eat that elf."

S laughed out loud at the silent comment as he shook his head. "Lotus, play nice." He then uttered as he turned his attention to the disturbance. "Come out, come out, where ever you are..." S whispered, his tone holding some excitment to the possible battle to come.
