ooc: It lives! the RP lives!... And now Terra sticks sticks her foot in it..

Terra was having second thoughts about metioning Mara to joeye, Mara now lay in virtually rubble the towns folk where poor and ill her brother the king was insane and she had been bansihed...

"Mara's a pretty place perhaps one day i will take you there..."

Terra lied and there was a flater in her voice which was un usual as she usally lied very well, Terra decided a quick change of subject was in order but she might of already caused the damage.

"anyway, if you ever want to go traverling i would be glad to help out, it can be dangerous traverling, moutians and forests espically so. plus i already have a horse..."

Terra was hopeing that Joeye would forget the falter in her voice when she spoke about Mera and go on about something to do with traverling far...Terr glanced over her shoulder and noticed Miss. Riley and miss. bibbs where both chatting away to people thought miss. riley was more of monaing away to that stoney faced women she was sat next to.

ooc: XD

Joeye's eyebrows slightly lifted at the falter in Terra's voice, and she wondered if she's the only one between them who had secrets to keep. "It sounds like you miss Mara a lot," she said casually. And then, to hide her expression, she took the dishes that Terra set down and dunked them in the basin, which was now full of fresh water. Her mind began working like clockwork, trying to figure whether she should take up Terra on her offer. "I haven't done much travelling myself, but I was thinking it would be nice to go on a trip to the mountain one day." She glanced up to find that Terra was looking somewhere else. "Is there something going on out there?" she querried.

ooc:were the only ones Rping currently but the RP thread lives!

Terra turnned to face Joeye she smiled...

"Mara was, i mean is a nice place i hope to return there eventually...The mountians did you say, we would need more than a day to go and a trip to the mountian, its peaks are high, i crossed one of its sisters to get here the smallest one more like a big hill, thats where Bert shot me...if we went to the mountians we would do best to take horses takes less time, we'd be gone for about three days or more depending on what happens..."

Terra nearly added on if Joeye wnated to go on a trip Terra would love to take her she even pay for a horse, but then she would give away the fact she wasn;t quite as poor and homless as she made out to be...
PostPosted: Tue Aug 23, 2005 1:57 pm

ooc: yeah, we're both running around here XD at this rate, it won't be long before we get to the temple o.o

Three days?! Joeye didn't count on that. Not three days. The mountain looked so close to where they were.

But she figured Terra probably knew what she was talking about. "I didn't know it takes that long," she said. More than ever, she felt she should start looking for Elohim as soon as possible. Who knows where that old coot would be in three days? "I don't have a horse, but..." her voice trailed off.

But I could always steal one. The thought reared its ugly little head. After all, what's stealing a bag of bones and flesh after I've stolen an expensive necklace?

"...But I can always go buy one," she lied. And then, "Are you planning on moving on right away? Maybe we can take that trip soon."

ooc: i know , which is why the mountain trip should take a while...

Terra smiled...

"the moutians look samll but the closer you get the harder they become to travel...I could by you a horse, i have some money saved i have no use for it, besides consider it a gift...if you really wnat to go we could leave as soon as you like tommorow a day after im in no rush anywhere..."

Terra lied about the saved money, she had plenty of money after all she was an exlied princess, as for the in no rush to leave but, she wasn't she still had to find where the temple was...
PostPosted: Sat Aug 27, 2005 2:32 pm

ooc: ack, sorry, been tied up with my paper >.<

Have Terra buy her a horse? But they just met! Joeye was torn. On one hand, stealing a horse would be too much work, and who knows what would happen if she got found out? On the other hand, she didn't like the prospect of being indebted to anyone.

Finally, she mustered a smile. "If it's not too much trouble, yes, it would be wonderful if I could borrow some money for a horse. But consider it a loan. I'll pay you back, I promise." If I ever get home, that is, she silently added to herself.

ooc: im back at school in 10 days (insert gonk smiley here)

Terra just smiled and asumed that Joeye didn't like the idea od letting someone she hardly knew buy her a horse, Terra instantly liked some people and hated others, besides Terra could afford to buy a horse Joeye obviously could not.

"when do you wnat to set off? if we want to go soon we would have to go down to the market and get your horse and some supplies but if you want to go later on in the motnh we could collect supllies and things over time..."

Terra was a born planner, you gave her any idea and she would of planed the whole thing not long after...

ooc: It's because myself, and probably Meri as well, were both waiting for Konami to come back before starting the RP up again. o.o surprised oc

He had caught the who?! Merro snapped her head up and stared at her captor as it finally occured to her why she had been accosted and had her dignity abused in this fashion.

The magistrate stepped fairly lively for a man who was getting a bit past it, and he was soon in front of Bert and the supposed burglar. As behooved a man of his position, he refrained from any congratulations until he could get a look at the girl and decide for himself, especially considering Bert's sometimes rash conclusion-jumping. The magistrate's first glance at the stranger, however, poked no holes in the idea that Bert had in fact caught the criminal. The wild looking girl returned his assessing gaze with an uncomprehending stare.

"What is your name?" he asked, folding his hands behind him and straightening up to his most magesterial. He was the village's humble servant, of course, but there was a crowd watching with eager eyes.

Giving her name meant revealing her identity. Revealing her identity meant giving up on any plausible lies that would explain her current state. Being forced into telling the truth meant ending up back at her father's keep.

These thoughts flitted through her mind and before they had fairly been processed, Merro snapped, "None of your concern!" Then, looking back up at Bert and renewing her attempts to yank her arm away from his grasp, she demanded, "Unhand me! UnHAND me, you brute! I'm no killer and you've no right to treat me in this manner!"

Said the girl who had a dagger, sword, and some suspicious spatters of a darker red on her baggy red tunic.

Bert contented himself with upgrading his grip on her arm from firm to painful, but as Merro yelped and struggled, the Magistrate leaned in and squinted at her.

"You're no killer, you say, but you're armed and bloody and wearing pearls fit for a Lady!" he said suddenly, jabbing a finger at her. What more proof could a man wish for? There would be a proper interrogation, of course, but he felt that he could hardly want a clearer sign than the jewelry and weapons, both so incongruous on this bewildering little chit. The fact that the girl was a stranger to the village was both a relief and additional reason to believe Bert's claim.

"Hand over those weapons!" he said firmly, and then took a step closer to her, reaching a hand out and around to grab at the swordhilt sticking out from the girl's belt.

It happened very fast. The dagger's sheath had worked its way around to her right side, so when Merro protectively grabbed at the most readily available of her two weapons with both hands she ended up with her right hand on the sheath and the left clutching the hilt. As quickly as she had managed to pull her left arm down, it was jerked back by Bert, and the dagger in her hand came free of its sheath and went slicing up through the air towards the Magistrate's face. Cries of alarm went up all around her, and then something struck the back of Merro's head.

Everything went dark.

(ooc: I have probably passed the point already where I should have stopped to let Konami catch up. ^^; Consider Merro stalled - and unconscious - until Letalus shows up on the radar once more.)

Shoneya continued walking towards GreenWood forest, wishing she could fly again at the moment. She kept walking, her arm still hurting.

Maybe I can use my magic to heal myself

She thought. She tried, but it didn't work.

Urgh! My magic is weak in this world sad

She finally made it to GreenWood forest. GreenWood forest was very dark. She could barely see 5 feet in front of her. She started to walk in it. She felt around, with her good arm, in case she would bump into anything. She leaned her hand out and touched something silky..then something crawl up her hand!

"Eeek!"

She kept waving her hand so whatever was crawling on it would get off. By now she had been used to seeing in the dark so she looked her hand.
On her hand was a small hair spyder. It was brown with yellow stripes on it's...er what's it called again...thorax[?].

"I must have put my hand on a spider's web sweatdrop "

She put the spider back on it's web and continued walking through the forest.
She was 5 minutes away to the exit when she spotted a blue shine. Shoneya looked down at the ground. It was like a blue shining diamond. She picked it up. It shone brightly like the sun.
As she held it she noticed her arm it stopped hurting so much.

"What is this thing?!

Shoneya blurted in her mind.
She put the blue "shiny thing" in her satchel and headed for the exit. Five minutes later she was out of the woods.

What did that guy say to go next?

Shoneya stopped to think. She sat down on the ground for a moment. Then she remembered!

" Oh yeah! Make a right Then I'll be at a fork in the road and I go left!"

Shoneya started walking forward than turned left. She passed a bunch of cottages. She saw little children playing with their friends or siblings. Shoneya started to remember. Those kids reminded her of when she was little. She and Teddy...
She started to cry a little. She wiped away her tears and started looking for the fork in the road.
She got really tired she pulled up over at a cottage and knocked on the door. A young lady with long brown hair and an orange gown with a black star on it. She looked a little younger than Shoneya.

"May I help you miss."

"Um..hello. I need a place to stay..I'm traveling. My name is Shoneya - "

"Wait, wait, wait! Did you say, Shoneya?!"

"Er, yes. Why?"

"You must be the Shoneya Matthew was talking about!

Suddenly, Matthew came to the door.

"Shoneya?"

"Matthew?

To be Continued...

ooc: Sorry I haven't written another part in awhile. I bet the suspense is killing you XD She finally found the shiney! blaugh But, she's not at the temple. What do you think? Matthew and Shoneya? Or Teddy and Shoneya? Who will win Shoneya's love heart

Joeye didn't want to come off as pressing. She was about to say, "Whenever you want," but she caught herself. Did she really want to leave whenever? Elohim moves around, she remembered. "As soon as possible, if that's alright with you," she said. "Going down to the market to get supplies and a horse right away sounds lovely."

ooc: i'm so sorry it took so long, midnight! (insert gonk here). after writing my paper, i've been playing catch-up with everything else and it all went downhill from there (insert another gonk here).
PostPosted: Thu Oct 13, 2005 12:06 pm

ooc: its ok *huggels* i didn't mind waiting ^_^ Oh and sorry for the sukieness of this post it was written in a hurry (insert sweat drop emote here)

Terra smiled and looked out of the door...

"if you want to go as soon as possible, go fetch your things whilst i distract Ms.Rilley...Meet me outside the inn in about 10 mins, you can say bye to Miss. Bibbs if you want just tlel her you have to go to the market or something..."

Terra didn;t wait for a reply she ran out of the kitchen and began to pick up pots, she had and arm full and she made out her shoulder had twitched in pain causing her to drop the plates in a defeaning crash...

"Sorry!..."

Terra cried as Miss. Riley came over scolding, she pretended to cry and ran off into the kitchen. On the way she spotted Miss. Bibbs she walked over pretend tears streaming down her face...

"I'm sorry Miss. Bibbs, i didn't mean too...I'm going to go see my horse for a little while...Good bye..."

She knew if she told either of them that they where levaing they would stop them, going on about age and resposiablity so she didnt tell them...Terra ran into the kitchen winkd to Terra and ran out to the stables and instantly began putting Blizzards saddle and saddle bags on...it didn't take her long and once she was finshed she snuck Blizzard round the front of the inn and waited hidden by the walls...

ooc: whee! xD

Joeye saw Terra's scene with Mrs. Bibb. It was by the kitchen doorway. And she did not miss Terra's wink. Damn, that girl moves fast! she thought. She was still half-dazed over what happened. Suddenly, she felt torn over leaving. But how could that be? She had been working at the tavern for only two days.

"Dear me! I hope she's alright!" Mrs. Bibb said in concern, her eyes still on the back door.

"Go for a ride!" snorted Mrs. Riley as she stalked over to stand alongside Mrs. Bibb. "Did she think she's just having tea with us or something? She's a servant!"

"Hush, Mrs. Riley," admonished Mrs. Bibb. "The girl's new. She's not used to the ways of the tavern yet. I'll have a nice, long talk with her later..."

Joeye realized she was missing her cue. Hastily, she grabbed the cleanest between two dirty dishtowels and pretended to wipe her pruned hands. In reality, she was wrapping the towel around her bloodied hand to conceal it. "Maybe I should go and see if Terra's okay," she said as she inched towards the back door.

"Not a step further, missy!" Mrs. Riley's voice was like a whiplash. "You go mind your own business!"

Joeye innocently widened her eyes. "But we've been so busy all day," she said in her little-girl voice. "If Terra doesn't come back soon, we'll be inundated with so much work!"

At that, Mrs. Bibb gave a start. "Mrs. Riley, who's minding the register?"

The two women hastened back to the main room.

As soon as the two women were out of sight, Joeye vaulted up the stairs. She was only too happy to strip off her serf clothes and don her dress. On the spur of the moment, she tore a strip from the cloth that covered her sword. She tightly wound it around her hand. Then she wrapped her sword again and tied it around her torso. Lastly, she pocketed the two coins she earned.

Joeye took one last look around the bedroom. Her hand came up to clutch the stone of Alania. I'll be fine, she thought fiercely.

The next problem was actually getting out of there. She couldn't leave through the front door, not with her dress on. And it was too risky leaving through the backdoor, also. Without thinking twice, Joeye opened her window and glanced down at the ground two floors below. She fluttered her wings furiously.

And then she jumped.
PostPosted: Fri Oct 14, 2005 9:36 am

ooc: i plan for Terr to find her shiney on the mountian of in the market...

Terra looked up and noticed Joeye fluttering her wings in a open window...

"Hurry the'll notice we've been gone a while if we dont leave soon! plus we have to get to the market quickly..."

Terra felt every so nervous when Joeye jumped, she just hopped that Joeye would land on the ground not hit it...Oblivious to Terra her fairy pendant began to glow under her gown, it was preparing to help with a spell if it needed too...Also oblivious to Terra a pair of green butterlfy wings appered almost like an illusion then disapeared...

ooc: yay!

Joeye felt the rush of wind in her face. Out of the corner of her eye, she thought she saw something flash and flutter. But when she turned to look, it was just Terra hiding by the walls in front of the inn.

And then she landed on the ground. It was a rough landing, and she lurched forward a couple of steps. Little clouds of dust rose about her feet. She thought she stubbed her toe. But at least she landed on her feet.

An unexpected giggle rose up within her. But she suddenly caught herself and hurried towards Terra. "Ta-da! Are we good to go?" Suddenly, she was filled with such ebullience that it took her aback.
