Koukon_Tenshi Icysnowgirl Yea, I started to just bum pocky off of my friends.... xD;; Sadly, they only like chocolate while I always was more of a strawberry or almond kinda girl... ;.; o.o;; Why the gonk ?

I live in a small town outside of Houston. I wanted pocky so bad that I used to haras the grociery stores to order some. Finaly one did and all the otakus went crazy. Now all the grociery stores carry pocky, and one also carries strawberry. Although... I am picky about my pocky. I drive into houston and buy my special pocky from a Nipon Diado down town. Mmmmm coconut.... domokun

At the Wing Tai Oriental Grocery in Lake Charles, Louisiana, they have about 11 different flavors of Pocky, along with several knock-offs and Pretz flavors. Unfortunately, in the town I go to college in (Natchitoches...Lake Charles is my hometown), the only store that sold Pocky (They had about 3 flavors, including pumpkin! 3nodding ) closed down...so I have to stock up whenever I go home!

I heart Mitsuwa Market! Though Marukai (sp?) is cheaper [by one cent]... but it's so it isn't as close. crying There is also the Filipino store that sells Thai Pocky but thai pocky is CRAP! scream And Suncoast and Expo's over charge Pocky. Trying to capitalize on the popularity of otaku culture. /pmt
