I'd like to propose a different Neurosis album for the Sludge tourny. I'd say Times of Grace or A Sun That Never Sets would be much better candidates.

I'm listening to some of these sludge albums and thinking they shouldn't be on there.

Cardinale - 31:13
Cult of Luna - Salvation
Giant - Song
Tides - Resurface

I haven't listened to the album yet, but the song on Windmills by the Ocean's myspace wasn't all that impressive.
I thought Cardinale was already on the sludge list. Also, I think Time To Burn's Is.Land deserve a spot as they did they BEST job of recording the massive sludge sound. It's the heaviest s**t I've ever heard on record.

I'm saying that I think they should be taken off of the list.
Oh, well taking off Cardinale is just preposterous. And Giant and Tides are both pretty grand.

Cardinale is definitely the best of those four, but I wouldn't really consider them one of the greatest.

Cult of Luna, Tides, and Giant just seemed like Isis worship to me.

You'll find that most Post-Rock/Sludge revolves around Isis worship of some kind. The genre hasn't had much time to evolve.

I would not mind changing it to Times of Grace. Uploading the version with Grace playing along with it is a must, though.

The combined and separate versions both sound grand. Under the Surface is so ******** awesome. heart
