Rukie sat in the cage currled into the farthest from the light that was lighting up the area he was in.His bright gold eyes looked out though the steel bars and a soft slient sigh passed his pale lips. He heard the fight bewteen another pet and a mistress then anotehr voice of a familiar voice of a girl he knew.He began to cralw towards the light,but it blinded him and he moved back again.

In one of the far back corner of the pet shop in a large black curved steel cage with a black cloth draped over was Kosho the devil. A sign hung on the front of the cage in large red letters were the words, 'WARNING: BITES' in an angry sort of script. If he could have actually seen the sign Ko would have chuckled to himself, but instead he was left alone in the dark to sit and thinking what a naughty little pet he had been to get himself returned yet again after he had mauled the last man and struck him with his own whip. As if that was going to encourage him to behave himself.
Instead he sat there purring in the dark waiting for them to either give up and let him go, or the next fool to stick there fingers in, like a shark swimming around a raft despite his stationary position.

Kail waited in his cage, his face pressed against the bars to help him see any way of leaving. He had been there his entire life, or from what he remembered. No one had chosen him before, and every guard knew him, and enjoyed throwing things at him.

Kosho lifted up a bit of the black cloth that covered his cage and looked out in to the pet shop, lots of sorry looking faces like little puppies just waiting for their chance to go to a cuddly home and lick their master's boot while they wait for table scraps. He suck his tongue out and rolled his eyes like he was going to hurl.
Although the new guy looked kinda interesting, the one chucking stuff at the guards. He use to do that untill they had decided to put him in a cage with bars to close together for that kinda thing.
The devil reached up and pulled of the tag that said warn that he bit people and torn it down. How was he suppose to have any fun if nobody stuck their fingers inside. He glanced at the back of the card.

Devil
Eats chocolate, fruit, blood, and meat
Don't feed bread or vanilla
Past owners.. long list there
Pediagree.. blah blah blah."
Kosho tossed the card away. God it had been ages since he'd had any chocolate. Just the thought made his mouth water. Godiva, hot cocoa, chocolate syrup, mmmm he licked his lips just thinking about it, but alas. One of the petty tortures slash attempts to make him behave was to cut back on his meals. One crummy peach a day was no way for a devil to live.

Kail saw one of the other slaves nearby. He had a something in his hand. Kail wanted to ask what it was, but the guards might decide to throw something heavy at him if he did.

Ko grinned seeing that another slave had turned his attention towards him, or at least the motion of the cloth that draped his cage and hid him from view as he wiggled his fingers around. He slide his pointed tail out inbetween the flaps of cloth and waved it at him as he couldn't get his hand outside the cage, stupid narrow bars. The tail then proceeded to point in the general direction of the guard, as if trying to get some directions as to exactly where he was. Double sided coins, other people couldn't see in at the Devil, but then he couldn't see out either.

Kail yawned, raising his arms dramtically, pointing to the guard ever so discreetly. Kail nodded slightly. He couldn't tell why the slave wanted to know where th guard was, but he apparently did.

The tail nodded up and down, before dipping into another pet's water dish. The liquid clung to the appendage, swirling around it untill it formed a sphere. It carried it out of the other pet's cage and then after a few motions back and forth it flung the water sphere at the guard's face where it connected with a splash.
There was a great deal of cursing and a few kicking cages, but the man soon left to go change his shirt. Kosho waited untill her left to chuckled, slightly maliciously.

Kail gulped in fright. The guard would come back, and think it was Kail who splashed him. Kail shrank back into the farrest corner of his cage.

"Oh god," He rolled his emerald eyes from behind the cloth in digust. "Another freaking shrinking violet. Do yourself a favor and grow a pair, or do me one and go lick boot, get bought, and get out of here so I don't have to look at you." The tail thumped against the floor in a very irked mannor as the silky voice spoke in a harsh tone. Just when he'd thought there might have been somebody else in the place who would have been worth conversing with.

"You think I haven't tried to leave this horrible place?" Kail growled. He waved his single remaining wing at the slave. The stub on his back wiggled franticly with it.

"Nope, I just think that when you look and act the way you do, your just begging to be batted around by soon sadistic p***k. Seeing you cringing in your corner before.. hell I wanted to take a swing at ya." The tail waved dismissively, eyes gone now that his back was turned to him. "Heck, you want to give up and take the easy way out it's none of my business. Some people just aren't that strong." The voice spoke in a bored that is the way the world is and frankly your just not that interesting tone.

"So, me wanting away from here makes me a coward?" Kail growled. He had a nasty temper sometimes. Strange things happen when Kail gets angry. This was one of those moments. Kail's hand squeezed through the bars of his cage and stretched beyond what was normal, and squeezed through the slaves cage bars. Kail wrapped his fingers around the slaves pointed tail, and yanked hard,

"OWwww! You little pansy!" He lifted up cloth over his cage so that he could stare at him directly in the eye. "Yeah your a coward! Attacking somebody who is stuck apparently, unlike you! Who do you think you are grabbing people's tail and yanking on them! Your just a bully like that stinking guard! But unlike you I'm not going to back down!" Kosho hollered at him and spat in his eye and gave him the finger.

The saliva evaporated in a quick his on contact with Kail's now white, pupiless eyes. "I've been stuck in a cage longer than you have, so stop whining!" Kail growled, blades forming along the pads of his fingers as he stabbed then into the tail. Kail's other hand shot out of the cage lightning fast, grabbing the finger and twisting in one quick motion.
