I'm opera singer adected to heavy metal (and no, my idol is not Tarja Tourunen, Sarah Jezebel Deva is much better) I'm also improving on bass

Hi my Name is Nieka, I am new to the Guild...
I am a musician.. Vocalist, and play some guitar. I sing in an ambient inspired band, that mixes electric sounds with drums, some guitar and vocals. I write a lot of lyrics.
Bands I enjoy:

hi, i'm from Australia & i love music! heart
i play the flute ( i've played it for five years) & can sing very well! whee (well thatz what i thing anyway)
my fav band is Greenday ( i also like Maroon Five, Eskimo Joe etc...) & my fav singer is delta goodrem ( i also like lots of other solo singers! 3nodding )
i am obsessed with American Idol, Australian Idol (even thou its not on now but will be^^), The X factor & Popstars ( thou its not on TV at this time).
so i am excited & happy to be in this guild soo much! biggrin heart

i joined about two weeks ago, never posted though.
i have a light breeders-helium-nirvana-pj harvey-dresden dolls- obsession, but i also like other kinds of music. like metal, punk, indie, jrock, classical. the last one is because of my parents forced me to play piano, i find it ok now.
