"Unusual, but adorable, yes?" Devayn quirked a smile and moved into deeper waters, firelizard still cradled in his arms as he stood in waist-high water. "Most people usually name their firelizards and pets to conform to their own whim. Men will sometimes give their firelizards popular and fantastic names, probably to make themselves feel they have something of more worth. Pookie though, she's Pookie, sweet and adorable." He laughed a bit, recieving an odd chirp from the green. "I don't feel immasculated in the least for it. It's her name, not mine."

Zalenth furiously turned on a wing tip but, knowing the skies just as equally well as Piroth, he swept behind her and soared within her wake. Did she really think that he could fall for such a trick? Never could he lure himself, he knew all too well what she was up to or so he was quick to judge.

I may not be worthy to be caught by a scarlet yet I'd gladly wisk a scarlet away from the midst of the skies. Just remember, the two toned brown remarked as his eyes displayed a brighrt array of glistening greens, I welcome revenge with open wings!

He rose above the filmy cloudbank, lunging towards the clear skies in seclusion and somewhat in means of stealth. Finding himself to be satisfied and his timing within synch, Zalenth tumbled back towards the ground as he followed Piroths' manuver effortlessly. Racing forward, rolling as the chilling air caressed his hide the two-toned brown trailed behind her as he awaited for the next move to be made.

Drawing her gaze away from Zalenth and Piroth, Stryder smiled at Necia and Kai though she continued to sheild the blazing rays of the Pernese sun from her eyes. "Well, it's been a long day since our flight from Benden but I need to rest. It was nice meeting you Kai and always a pleasure seeing you Necia. Take care."

Slowly departing up towards the entrance of the Weyr, Stry yawned as she wrapped her hands upon the door handle and pressed her weight against the door, opening it as she slipped in quietly and began proceeding onwards towards her weyr. Though her mind was swarming with recollections and remembrance of Shining Heights, the walk down to where her weyr reisded was fairly quick.

Lightly pressing against the door, it opened with the least bit of hesistation. As a grin crossed her face, the two-toned brownrider took several steps towards her fur piled bed and collapsed instantly as sleep had taken her body hostage.

((I'll be leaving tomorrow and return saturday afternoon. If anyone needs to borrow Stry or Zalenth then by all means go ahead.))

As his eyes locked onto her, watching her as she dove upwards with great agility, Zalenth roared with thrill as he dug his claws in the ground temporarily conjuring up tension until he lunged upwards catching more momentum. He was sly, or so he thought he was.

Not smarter, just crafty and sly.

Closing on on the scarlet, the two-toned brown inched closer with each stroke of his wings. As his eyes drifted across to her tail he gave a sly draconic smirk as inspiration seemed to spark an idea. With a surge of energy, Zalenth shot skywards whiel in the process nipped the tip of Piroths tail gently within his maw.

Show me the fury of a scalet! I'm sure I can withstand your wrath. He bugled with excitement as his eyes swirled with enjoyment.

((*Ish glomped* No it wasn't the mentioning...I realized I would never have any real excitement....it would be dull so I changed her preference.))

Zalenth seemed to halt in the air as his eyes met those of the raging scarlet. He had gone to far and now he would surly pay for his mistake. Piroth's quick retaliation was unsuspected as her powerful maw clamped down upon his tail only causing the two-toned brown to rumble in surging pains as the scarlets teeth etched into his hide.

He was silent as he swept his wings in powerful strokes towards a lone sun drenched cliffside, isolated where he could seek time for the scarlets rage to dissapate. Backwinging and foiling his wings towards his side, Zalenth swayed his tail up to his sight to see the damage that had been done.

That's going to leave a well deserved mark.

Stryder had slept for countless hours, regaining her strength and catching up on countless hours of sleep. She stirred and slowly awakened as she could feel something was not right.

Slowly sitting up in bed, wrapped in various blankets of fur, the two-toned brownrider contacted the culprit.

Zalenth, what did you do?

I nipped Piroth's tail and challenged her. In return she bit me back...hard. He softly admitted as he manuvered the tip of his tail over his snout as his eyes peered over the damage.

Zalenth! You better not be whimpering because you deserved it.

I'm not...

Slipping out of bed as she strapped on her rider's boots and laced them tight, Stry sighed as she shook her head in disbelief that the two-toned brown had carried out such actions. I'm on my way to check out your tail and you better apologize.

If she wants to talk to me again.

Pushing the door open steadily, Stryder began proceeding down the hallway to where the outside door resided. Surly the two-toned brown would be somewhere in the sun as it was a comfort spot that Zalenth had always found peaceful.

Finding the door already propped open, Stry pressed onwards outside as the Pernese sun still shone brightly upon Shining Heights while dragonriders still soared within its boundless skies. Glancing left and right, she peered over to the cliffside and smirked.

"Zally, where are you?" She called sarcastically as her eyes were drawn towards glistening orbs of yellow and blue.

You know where I am. He grunted with an annoyed tone, displeased with himself and his actions.

Draping his wings across his sides, Zalenth crooned in sorrow. His tail ached with echoing pain that still lingered and his emotions were riled. Could such a mistake ever be mended?

Wave blinked, glancing up from where Trementh was submerged in the Lake now. She had decided to ignore Devayne, who seemed to be doing the same thing to her, thankfully. Wave smiled a little. "Pili! What are you doing here?" she asked, using the candidate's pet name. Wave herself had Searched the girl here, so Wave felt kind of responsible for her.

Wave grinned. They were only five years apart, so they got along well, unlike other candidates Wave knew, and she wasn't pointing any fingers or anything..."But I like to call you that. Piliela is such a mouthful." Wave complained. "Hey, when Trementh comes out of the water, wanna help me oil her?" she asked.
