Iari had watched as the one she had been talking to ran off.A bit confused she shrugged it off and started once mre to climb the tree.As she got back to the branch she has fallen off before she blimbed out onto it."Now wherez dat beetleybug.."She looked around for the bug, her tail flicking behind her.Unable to find it she jumped off the branch, landing on the same plant.Rolling off it she shook her self and trotted off torwards the water for a drink.

Sebastian just stared after the black cub that had just pounced in front of him and then ran off. He shook his head bewildered and then his stomach got the better of him. Taking this opportune moment of all the lions meeting each other, he snuck up, practically crawling on his stomach. His muscles tensed as he got closer and closer to the fresh meat. Practically drooling now, he could almost taste the delicious flesh and licked his lips. When he was about a foot away he looked around and made sure everybody's attention was elsewhere. He grabbed hold of part of the gazelles thigh and tried to tear lose a piece of meat... but he wasn't strong enough to tear off the huge mouthful he had taken. Panicking he let go of his bite and grabbed a smaller piece and swallowed it whole. He became distracted as he continued to eat his stolen meal and let his gaurd down....

Kichea stared at the cub, bewildered. What what he trying to do? She looked from her mother to the little black and white lion, and when her mother just smiled sweetly, Kichea grinned. She crouched low, and pounced on him playfully. "Whatcha doin?" She asked curiously.

Gorging on the meat he didn't notice the black cub coming up on him and jerked with surprise when she pounced on him. Rolling over he got out from under and immediately readied himself for a fight. "What am I doing? What are you doing??" He looked around cautiously at the lioness. She was the one he was worried about. If she was mad at him for stealing her meat he better run for it. He could take the half-grown cub... even though she didn't exactly seem to be a threat. But that lioness was 10 times bigger than him.

Kichea looked at him curiously. "I'm playing with you. That answers your question... what about mine?" She said sitting down.

He stared at her with a half annoyed half amused look on his face and finally sat back on his haunches, his muscles still tense as he kept one eye on the adult. "Well, what did it look like I was doing?? Most lions call what I was doing eating. You know that's when you ingest food." He smirked and started to swish his tail back and forth, still a little hungry but not daring to take any more of the meat now that he had been called to attention.

Kichea suddenly felt a little embarassed. It should have been obvious to her what the young cub was trying to do. "Oh... So you were hungry? Want to join us for lunch?" She asked, knowing that her mother and herself would never finish the meal.

He raised an eyebrow at her, wary of this generosity. To his knowledge most lions would NEVER share a meal. He shrugged and figured it must be because they didn't belong to a pride yet. If there was a male pride leader around he would have been in trouble. Well he wasn't stupid, and wasn't about to pass up a free meal. But he was still curious as to why he wasn't in trouble. It was rather unsettling. "Duh, I was hungry. I wouldn't have been eating otherwise." He shook his head and grinned saracstically. "I suppose I'll finish eating my fill, I was almost done anyways." He relaxed a little bit seeing as it didn't look like he was gonna get attacked, but he still made sure to stay out of the lionesses range.

Kichea smiled at him, and also began eating. Once she was done, she walked away from the kill, not too far, but far enough where she could lay down and stretch. She watched the other lioness, the lavender one, and the other two cubs. ((Sorry its taking me so long... my computer keeps freezing sweatdrop ))

He ate until he was satisfied and then walked off and sat down a little ways away from the older black cub. He began cleaning his face of the blood and as he was doing so he observed her. She seemed nice enough... but he wasn't exactly ready to be friends or anything. She was a little older than him and had strangely attractive red eyes. She seemed strong, obviously not as skilled at fighting as him but she would be able to hold her own at least. She might have been coddled a bit by her mother though... that was one thing he liked about never having known his parents. He had had to learn to fend for himself immediately or he would have died. Swiping his wet paw across his face he realized he still didn't know her name. "Hey! So what's your name anyway?"

Kichea looked up from cleaning herself, "Kichea. How bout you?" She sat up so she could see over the grass, then bounded over to him, sitting down.

He twitched slightly as she bounded nearer him, but remained seated. "The name's Sebastian, or you can just call me Seb. Whichever." He cocked his head and quirked an eyebrow curiously, "Kichea... that's an odd name. Does it mean something?"

"Means 'the clearing after the storm', or 'brightness', or 'dawn'." She replied with a smile. "Soo... Seb? Wanna play?" Kichea asked eagerly, as it had been a while since she had someone to play with.
