Audrey saw him and reached towards his face, pressing a cold hand onto his cheek. She was shivering but it wasn't obvious until she touched him. "I'm a big girl...you shouldn't worry." Maia's tears still went down her cheek and then she curled into a ball slightly, one hand on her stomach and the other still barely touching his face.

-He slowly sat down on the pew, using both hands to pulled her hand gentally onto his lap, he began singing a short lullaby, to get her to sleep-

Audrey sniffled again and Maia's tears had subsided along with the pain. She stared up at Damian, her eyes getting fuzzy with fatigue. She swallowed hard. "My stomach is killing me..." she said gently.

Audrey's eyes fell half shut and she rolled her head towards him and his chest, resting peacefully for now. She didn't even have enough strength to respond.

She moved her lips, saying an inaudible, "I want to go home..." before falling asleep.

-He was watching her the entire time he hummed. HE smiled at her and then went and got up, he picked her up and and cradled her in his arms. He turned and began walking to the entrance of the church.-

Audrey had her head on his chest when she finally was completely asleep. She breathed shallowly, one hand still placed on her stomach.
