My first exposure was my grandparents sitting me down in their living room and punishing me by forcing me to listen to it once. It didn't end up being a punishment at all..

My best friend's entire family fell asleep midmovie when they were watching it. I wish I could have been there, it would have been so funny. I of course, was too repulsed by it to have fallen asleep.

I have "siblings", but I don't live with them, so they're more like friends than family. It's nice having a big brother, but only when I need him. biggrin Neither of them have seen the movie, as I have prevented it of them.

Xalio You people.. corrupting your siblings.. shame.. Why don't you let them have their own opinion? O.O I do let them have their own opinion. I gave them Leroux and I gave them ALW bootlegs... they formulated the opinion themselves - I simply gave them a comparison.

Ooohh.. okay. That works, then, as long as they've got a fair comparison and you're not simply drilling it into their heads.

They formed their ideas on the film when I showed them the preview clips they released a few months before the film actually was released. The identical looks of horror on their faces were priceless...

I wouldn't know. I don't think my siblings have ever seen even the previews. O.O
Does that make me a bad brother?

I saw that!!!! xd It was really strange... I also saw this weird PotO spoof on this thing called Toby Terrier... it was this video with dog puppets in it that came with a toy dog that would bark randomly at the screen. o_o;;; Anyway, one of the skits the puppets did was "The Phantom of the Dog-era". I didn't know what the hell was going on at the time, but now that i look back on it i think it was my first Phantom exposure.... it's too bad my mom gave away the tapes. xd

Very true, fuoko.. very true... I hadn't thought of that, but it gives me a nice excuse. In any case, I'm very glad I've seen none of these spoofs on the Phantom... they sound rather horrific.
