She immediately turned a deeper shade of red. "L-Love!" She let out an exasparated squeak as the tips of her ears turned red as well. Her heart was beating in her chest like a kettle drum as she sat down in a chair. "H-how could I be in l-love?" She stammered, completely embarrassed but glad that there was someone to talk to. "I barely know Sve-the person...." She had almost said his name! What was she, insane?

Nami laughed gently and placed a hand on Lily's head. "Its perfectly normal," she replied smiling rubbing her hair gently. "And so's that. I rejected it also but I've come to partially except it despite the guy i like can be an idiot at times," she explained removing her hand. Lily seemed like such a cute girl and sometimes reminded her of herself at how strong she could be. "The best thing to do is try and see if you actually love him, then carry on from there if you do." she continued still sat on the bed moving her legs to one side to comfort herself.

Clenching the cigarette in his mouth, he places his hands on the wood under him to support his weight before shifting himself slightly closer. He holds his breath in anticipation, barely daring to move anymore than he already has; for fear of disturbing his good fortune in sneaking toward the door once more.

[I was just enjoying the FREEZING environment of the appartment myself and Russel share. THE MAN IS AN ESKIMO! T^T]
This revalation only made her look boldly at the ground. "But...what if I tell him that I like him and he just...doesn't like me?" Rejection, something that she was terrified of. She had been rejected before, by kids her own age because she was smarter and understood better. She could never really be a normal kid thanks to her mind, and was never accepted as an equal with her neighbors.

Nami thought for a moment. She wasnt quite sure how to answer never having the experience of even a first kiss. She sweat dropped then smiled, "Just drop hints and see whether he likes you best." she suggested raising a hand in approval. She thought for a moment then sighed, "The best thing is to find out if he likes you back i guess..."

Lily pondered her words for a moment. If she could think of a descreet way to get Sven's attention, then maybe she would find he liked her too. But then again, he was older than her, and taller, better looking, and a lot braver. She was meek, mild, and shy, like a little mouse girl. She could imagine in her mind, herself as a little mouse trying to get the attentions of the regal lion that was Sven.
A frown crossed the face of the semi-optomistic girl. "I know all about anatomy, but I have no clue how to drop hints that I like someone, save for carving a giant heart into their skin with a tool." She groaned.

Nami now had to think. She'd never really dropped hints and she wasnt one to admit she loved that certain someone until they told her. She thought for a second then clicked her fingers. "How about talking to him more? That'd get him to know you better and you'd be less shy around him."

Finally getting close to the door, he sits again, resting his weight on the wall behind him as he leans his ear near the opening. He could hear everything nearly crystal clear; enough to sate his gnawing curiosity.

"I try to talk to him, but for some reason, my mouth doesn't speak what I tell it too. I just mumble...then I get embaressed and excuse myself." She sighed heavily. "I'm such a hopless cause. I can suture a wound, but I can't talk to a crew mate." If she could talk to Sven, then her problem would be easier to solve. She wouldn't have to make excuses to run off in a huff.
