Your family? What does your family have to do with her?
Mira looked back and forth, from Ishtar to Amaya, in hopes of finding some sort of explanation for the whole affair. Though her ears were no longer plastered to her head, she was on full alert, not sure if going to this...castle...would be such a good idea.
((Good night biggrin I'll be back Saturday night....muahaha!! xd ))

Amaya blinks as more questions fill her mind. She takes a step back from Ishtar looking even more puzzled. "Me? What do they want me for? I'm no one important... I'm just a 19 year old girl." She looks over at Mira wondering what else she was thinking. One thing was for sure they were going to get as far from here as possible.

Cho stood there, shocked that she had remianed frozen for the entire battle. She felt ashamed and felt utterly worthless. It was the first time she had confronted feinds and all she did was stand idle when she should have fight. Cho shook the feelings away, giving her full attention to the situation. "A book?"

Amaya had never expected that to be the answer. She shrugs as she looks at Cho. She turns to look at Ishtar."A book? My father never mentioned anything about that or your family."
Amaya starts pacing as she continues to think."Let me ask you this...why did you help me just now? I mean you obviously must want something from me."

"It was many many years ago the book was lost and your family line may have kept it a secret till it was finaly forgotten to keep from risking any of you opening it. But now it has been opened and we were released. Your right, I do want something from you. I want you to stop them. It was me that gave your blood line the power to stop them, and it is me who will make sure they are dead."

Mira spent the first 5 minutes of the conversation confused as to what the heck was going on around her, but looking at Amaya, Mira figured she had to be even moreso. Cooing to Chick, though he was almost calm right now, she listened to the story, as she finished the final preparations of packing things tightly on the chocobo's back. She was very leery of this guy, but decided that whatever Amaya did, she's stick by her....she wasn't going to lose the first friends she'd made, if she could help it.

Amaya considers what Ishtar said for a few minutes. Her gut told her not to trust him, although it did make sense that the story of this book would have been lost through the ages. She was a bit curious to know what she had to do to stop them."I don't know how I could possibly stop them. I'm not that strong. I mean... from what I have seen so far, my magic is nothing compared to what your family is capable of. What exactly would I have to do? And how is it that you came to be the only one able to make sure they are dead? "

Upon hearing Ishtar's reason Amaya places her hand over her heart as a look of sympathy for his loss appears on her face. "I'm so sorry... If I am indeed as strong as you believe me to be, by finding these talismyn, then I will do whatever I can to defeat them. However, I do not trust people so easily." She turns to look over at Mira, trying to see her reaction to the situation."You will have to earn it. Would you excuse me for a moment, I should like to consult with my party before making a decision about my path."

Amaya slowly walks over to Mira to talk things over before giving Ishtar her final decision. It would be a tough choice. Should she follow her gut and not trust him? "Mira, I know we haven't known each other long, but you have already proven to me that you are worthy of my trust. You could have left me passed out in the middle of the forest, but you didn't. For that I am thankful. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this matter as well. What do you make of the situation? I trust your instincts better than my own."

Mira, who was now idly leaning against the chocobo just listening, flicked her ears at Amaya's comment about consulting with her party, and nodded her agreement. She did not trust others so easily as well, despite his having saved their lives. It could be a trap...watch him carefully.
She listened quietly to Amaya, but took a quick glance at Ishtar before she responded. My opinion is two fold. I don't trust him first of all. He and his sister could of set this whole thing up as a trap to kill us...but I can't help but be curious as to if he is telling the truth. Going to the castle may be a death trap, but also at the moment, I have to admit I'm eager for some adventure. If he had some way of proving his story, then I'd be more apt to want to go, but as it is, I'm not sure which is safer...staying here and risk being attacked by fiends like before, or follow him.... She shrugged her shoulders. What do you think so far?
