Glissa wrinkled up her face as she contemplated the option. The beach wasn't too far away. And it was near the pub so if all else failed, she could crash there for the night.
"Sure, sounds good." She stood up and pushed in her chair, then leaned on the back of it.
"So how do you want to get there?"

"Hmm...I used to have a motorcycle, but it got destroyed in a fight a while back. So I guess we're hoofin it. Unless you'd prefer to fly. In which case, i won't stop you. I'll just get there slower."
Kirai wiped his mouth clean once more, making sure there wasn't anything left on his lips. He stood up afterwards silently, pushing in his chair to lean against it the same way glissa was.
"Well?"

"Well hoofin it sound mighty fun. How fast can you run?" Glissa jerked her head toward the door as she headed over to it and pushed it open, pausing to wait for Kirai.

"Well, It depends. But i can run at a decent speed."
Kirai stood up, following after her swiftly to walk through the door.
"Let's just get going."
And with that, Kirai walked off in the direction of the beach.

The warm smell of food that wafted to Kia's nose was barely a comfort as she stepped inside the warm dining hall. Many hot breakfast foods were being served along with hot chocolate, coffee, and tea due to the colder weather.
Picking out a stack of pancakes with sausage and a cup of hot cocoa, she found a table and sat down to eat. Normally this meal would not have been enough to even wet her appetite. But for some reason all she could do was pick at her food and eat as slowly if not even slower than everyone else. Eating seemed more of a chore than a pleasure now as she forced herself to take bite after bite.
Once she finished her small breakfast, she grabbed her umbrella and headed out again with a heavy sigh.

Alison collected her knapsack, and pulled her army surplus jacket closed. She follwed Shinku, slinging the back over one shoulder.
"I wonder what the job is."
She laughed.
"Who am I kidding? I'm wondering just how well it pays."
Heavenly smells of warm food and freshly baked cookies wafted towards the couple as they opened the door to come in. Alison inahled the blend of scents, smiling.
"Mmm, smells delicious. Reminds me of home."

Sora smiled lightly as the scents reached his nose as well. He hadn't had any breakfast today, and it was lunchtime.
Which of course meant he was gonna eat tons now.
Sora led Alison to the line, which had a few folks already waiting in it, and grabbed a tray to pile on all sorts of healthy and unhealthy foods.

Dispite Alison's alegided hungry, and the sultry scents permeating litterally everything, she made off with only a nice-sized blood orange. She'd tried one a while back and was now hopelessly addicted to the fruits.
The man besides her, however, didn't have nearly the same hibitations. Alsion knew it was impolite to stare, but less tease, but she couldn't resist a jab to Sora.
"You sure you have enough?"

"Some is for now, some is for later."
Sora knew Alison wouldn't understand what he meant by that, but it was best to leave that alone for now.
Sora intended so save up on the chemical energy from the foods to store for later. He didn't know why he needed it, he just had a feeling he was gonna need an extra boost later.

Alison looked mildly confused for a minuet, then shrugged off the feeling. It wasn't any of her buisness what abilites and and the costs it took for the students to maintain...at least, not directly. She sucked another slice of orange into her mouth. A dribble of light red juice ran down her chin. Alison wipped away the sticky, sweet "blood," blushing slightly.
"Sorry. Messy eater. What's your major, here?"

"Hand to hand combat, natural resources."
Shinku took a seat at a bench and placed his tray down. He continued on to consume pancakes and bacon, and toast and many other breakfast foods. He then went on to eat sausages, ham sandwiches, and severl other common lunch foods.

Alison's eyebrows rose.
"Combat and resources? Very...diverse."
She gave her watch a playful look.
"If you hurry, you can finish dinner before your first class."
Before Sora could say anything, however, she held up her hands.
"Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to. That's the last of it, I promise."
Alison finished off her orange. She wipped her hands free of the sweet stick jucies on a napkin.

Sora was finished with tons of food by the end of her fun.

Alision felt suddenly uneasy; she never did like talking about herself. The auto-system came online in her.
"Meds. Biotech and OFA."
She grabbed a napkin and began to methaodically pull it to little pieces.
