If my hearing or sense of smell were that good, I could easily find the place on my own.. ~He rolled his eyes a bit before turning around. He would abide by what Meris told him to do, though he didn't much want to get knocked out.~

The raccoon tied his hands behind his back, tightly. "Normally I'd be covering up all the tracks, but I'll have to get others to do it later." He tore a linen shirt into strips and wrapped them around the unicorn's eyes. He looked so weak and helpless all bound like that, it kinda made him blush. "Okay, are you ready?"

~He shifted every so often as he was being bound and blindfolded. He felt as though he was being captured and dragged off to some unknown wearhouse. As the binding was finnished he turned a bit, hoping he was facing Meris.~ I'm ready.

He didn't reply, but simply hit him in the side of the head with the flat of his blade as hard as he could. Warning him would have allowed him to brace himself and only made it more likely that he would have to hit him again.

~As the flat of the blade struck the side of his skull, he was almost instantly unconsious. His knees buckled a bit before he fell onto his side with a thud. His horn instantly glew blue as it started to heal him quickly.~

Meris quickly picked him up and began to drag him home.

[ABANDONED HOSPITAL! DUN DUN DUN~]
PostPosted: Tue Nov 07, 2006 9:48 pm

Ahh... Sound asleep. Anyan gazed somewhat fondly upon the girl who laid upon those blankets. She could have been a good member of the guard if she wasn't so rebellious... And if she wasn't a female. But his job wasn't to think. Silently as a fox, he dropped the chits down into the alley, the tiny wooden coins dropping with nary a sound. Taking a sliver of wood that rested on the rooftop, the FireWalker lit it with a single breath, controlling the flames skillfully to concentrate on one spot. Waiting patiently until it turned into hard charcoal, he wrote on his cloak with plain, neat, and most of all, nondescript writing. It was hard, as the silk didn't have much friction to it, but a little effort ground the black soot in. Folding it up and leaning as far down as he could, he dropped it, right next to Lanen. It landed with a soft thump, but not loud enough to wake her. His work done, the captain swiftly and silently, left.

"The date has changed. Meet us at the Desert Moon at the stables two days from now, at midnight. Do not be seen. Keep the cloak."

And so the girl slept on peacefully as Anyan wrote the note and dropped the chits and the cloak with the message on it near her. A dream filled her mind however and that was the only thing that made the young girl stir. She did not yet manage to purchase or...obtain new clothes yet so she still wore the harem garb under that blanket of hers, luckily she had not been out in much of public to be seen with any of it on her so she was able to avoid...particular gazes.

Lanen soon came back to her little hideout in an secluded alley and lay down upon her blanket. She had done quite well in the last two days and she was sure after another two she would have stolen a bit more money from the pokcets of streetgoers to make her way out of Polcrity altogether. Where would she go? Wherever she could go. It all depended really.

Despite her hate for the Harem outfit it still remained with her things. Some of which she stole and some of which she bought. It all looked rather good and she had a large cloak that she could only assume belonged to a large woman that would help her truly escape. With all the things she had now she was sure that if she wore it all right around her body and put the cloak over, bent down and acted like an injured begger that she could get out of the city easier than if she tried to jump the wall.

Lanen left her hiding space for a short time to travel the rooftops and see if she could not find the perfect path to escape from tomorrow. Most of her money was hidden nicely in her hideaway in a place on ly she knew about and some of it was on her. She knew never to take it all with you. Wearing plain poofy bottoms, like Jasmine in Aladdin, only a beautiful brown and a top almost like it, though it covered more of her belly, she scurried around the roof tops, her slippers making little sound as she neared the gates of the city.

"Going somewhere?" A heavy hand encircled Lanen's upper arm with a viselike grip. Anyan, too, had near-silent footsteps, and when he donned his heavily magicked, expensive shoes, nothing was left behind; neither sound, sight, smell, touch, even taste. "Think I that a theif would look more often at her surroundings." The shadows shifted as the Captain's companions slunk smoothly out, all with the practiced ease of trained stalkers. A mixed bag of burly, hulking men, they were the best of the Royal Guard - Not because of their strength, but because of their smarts. Anyone could be strong. It took wits and brains to shove aside other canidates for this job and rise up top. "Come with us, you will. Speak, the Prince wishes to you." The hand never let go.

Lanen gasped as her arm was griped by a hand, Anyan's she learned as she looked over her shoulder. "What does the Prince want? I gave him some money earlier. He'll just have to wait for the rest of it." She told him as she tried to pull away, not minding the men around her. "Let me go." She told the man, looking stern and serious.

His own eyes narrowed. "You have enough. Speak, the Prince wants, besides. That is all, you need not the money for now. Dare, do you, to defy the law?" The hand let go, but by then the men had already penned her inside a small room of living flesh. A none-too-gentle push from behind nearly knocked her over, making the young girl stumble.

And she did stumble, turning to glare at the man who touched her before looking at Anyan. "What does he want? I wish to be prepared for what is coming. I am not very good with surprises." She said, not moving just yet. Something told her that whatever he wanted would not be good news to her at all.. But it was only a feeling.
