She just wanted to see for herself, the so called, City of Darkest Nights.` At the edge of down, she culd see a familiar figure. "Black? " She said, but just incase, redied a Pokebal. ::He turned quickly at the call and stumbled backwards. To him, she appeared a large green dot.:: "Oh.. Hey there Wooga! After the destruction of the pokemon center, Di was lft to wander the alleyways in search of another home. This wasn't going to be easy since the places he checked were occupied by more and more thugs but he trekked from block to block to find something. "This is getting rather boring, why don't I just kick someone out of their home and then we take that then?" Kali asked and Di shook his head. "I don;t want to cause too much attention, Kali! We'll find ourselves a place to stay." He nodded slowly.

From up ahead on the streets, there seemed to be a lot of yelling and cheering going on as a group of people were surrounding something. In the middle were two pokemon, a Lombre and a Kirlia were battling it out. They were bleeding all over as the people cheered them on harshly. "Kill that stupid Kirlia!" called on the owner of the Lombre as the owner of the Kirlia told his pokemon to choke to death the Lombre. With one final stroke of the Lombre using Surf, the Kirlia was hit and fell straight down. One of the owners yelled at her and then just left angrily, mad that his Kirlia had lost and not to the fact that his Kirlia was sitting there dead now. The people were still cheering about the winning Lombre as they wiped his face clean and pushed the Kirlia into a garbage can. Then one person called out, "Who wants to battle this time!" in a fierce laughter. Another owner came in and put in their Pidgeotto in the arena. "And the second opponent!" called out another trainer, looking for someone to put in the battle.

Di watched the battle and to see that Kirlia killed and thrown away like trash was almost painstaking possible to let it slide but Di wasn't going to let it slide at all. "I'll be your next opponent!" Di pushed several members of the crowd out of his way and glared at the Pidgeotto. "That Kirlia lost and you killed it....I'll show you how to make a good battle happen! Kali....wanna try?" He asked and Kali hovered from his shoulder. "My pleasure! Let's play, bird brain!" She muttered and her eyes went blue as she charged her psychic energy.

The crowd laughed as Di entered his Ralts. The Pidgeotto was much stronger than that pokemon they thought, but oh well, they would see some blood shed. The Pidgeotto let out a bird cry as it went to perform a Quick Attack on Kali.

"Kali! Use Double Team and keep note of his speed! I don't want you to get too many direct hits!" He warned and Kali frowned as she took a hit already. You need to be faster then, Di! She growled as her duplicates circled around quickly, increasing her evasiveness. "That's it! Keep it up and use growl! Lower it's attack" He muttered and the Ralts doubles growled loudly at Pidgeotto, intimidating it.

In near silence, a unique duo stepped through the main street of the city. A young woman, with dark brown hair that fell carelessly into her face, dressed perhaps a little danerously for such a questionable place. Gothic, as some would call it. To her, it was just her taste in clothing. She stood nearly five and a half feet tall, and appeared thin and fit. The unusual visible trait that she held, however, was her long feline tail. Black fur, save the white tip, decorated with a coiled silver ring. She usually had no problem getting a second glance, for whatever reason. At her side was an Umbreon, of the natural colorings. Size almost seemed a bit larger, if only due to the muscular structure of the beast. Expression seemed that of a constant sneer, the Umbreon quite obviously not the frendliest of Pokemon. The other Pokemon owned by the trainer were still in their company, though contained in their PokeBalls for safety reasons. The two could already assume that this city was dangerous, and decided it best that it be investigated without the others being in the way of harm. "Quite the unusual place, isn't it?" The woman commented aloud, gaze scanning into the allies and broken windows as they walked along. Only shadows to some, but she could clearly see those that hid in the darkness. ~No doubt.~ The Umbreon replied shortly, markings and crimson eyes glowing against the darkness that seemed to reign with no trouble. ~I smell many men, Hitsuzen.~ She added, hackles prickling slightly in her irritation. "Yes, Yasha. So do I. Don't worry about it." Hitsu almost hissed, perhaps a bit unnerved by the discomfort of her Pokemon. Of course, she was always ready to attack any male, with or without provocation. "We'll be fine, I assure you."

The crowed cheered and laughed as they saw the battle going on. The trainer of the Pidgeotto called out, "Use Wing Attack at the pathetic Ralts." The Pidgeotto let out another bird cry as it went straight at the real Ralts with the help of his Keen Eye ability to perform a Wing Attack straight at Kali. His attack did get lowered with the Growls, but it wouldn't help the Ralts much considering how much higher the level of the Pidgeotto was.
From behind Hitsuzen, the smell of harsh alcohol could be easily smelled. A man wobbily walked towards Hitsuzen from behind and then grabbed the sides of her waist. "Hey baby, want to ride on the gravy train tonight," laughed the drunken man as he held on to Hitsuzen. "I promise you a good time," he whispered behind her ear. The strong odor of alcohol around the man couldn't be escaped.

Di was panicking to see that Pidgeotto coming after Kali so quickly. When he saw Kali hit with the attack and to hear her scream, he grabbed her and quickly ran. "Darn it! I should have known better than that...you did good Kali, but we need to be stronger" Di muttered and Kali had a stream of blood escaping her shoulder. "Feh! I'll kick that bird brain's a** next time! I swear it" She growled, not letting the pain overcome her. "Yeah, that's right" Di nodded as he disappeared into the darkness.

Hitsuzen's nose wrinkled slightly at the scent of alcohol, a bit stronger than what she would prefer to catch wind of. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to pick up quickly enough that the drunk was sneaking up behind her, until she felt his hands on her lower sides. Eyes widened, then narrowed. She gave a growl, and took what seemed only a split second to react.
Lifting her right leg quickly, she jerked it backward and down again. An attempt and crush the man's foot, and send him stumbling in the direction that he had come from. Turning as she completed this action, she moved her left arm around her body to reach out to the right side of his torso to shove him away forcefully.
She'd then fall into a semi-crouched position, one leg behind her, one in front as she leaned foreword in a defensive stance. "I'm not interested." She hissed, "But, you will still give me a bit of amusement..." A wicked smirk spread across the young woman's lips, cold blue eyes almost appearing to flash crimson for just a moment. Tail tip twitched from one side to the other, as an animal's would move when contemplating their attack. Even the low growls seemed inhuman, or was it her at all?

The next morning, or from what Di could tell on his watch since it was endless night in the city. Di was on the move, keeping Kali in her pokeball to heal since she was beaten by that Pidgeotto. "We're gonna have to come up with something or we're not gonna survive in this city. I've read a few books on engineering so maybe I couldmake some sort of Regeneration machine like they have at the pokemon center. I grabbed as many parts from it as I could from the rubble but I'm gonna have to find the rest somewhere in this junky city. Until then we better keep out of sight" He muttered and stepped into the darkness of the alleys again, taking the path down the backside of the buildings. Perhapsa pawnshop or an old electronics store would be the key to finding the needed parts.

The man's foot was immediatly broken when Hitsuzen stepped on it, and he was sent falling back when he was pushed by her. He held onto his foot as he cursed out loudly. "You, you demon! Your dead!" he said as the man took out a blade and threw it at her, an attempt to cause some damage.
Up ahead of Di, there seemed to be a shop with a sign that read, "Electrical and Machine Shop, with all of your electrical needs". From the look of things though, the sign was obviously stolen, and one would have to think twice before going inside.

Smirk widened into an unnerving grin as the man shouted at her, his anger and pain causing her more satisfaction that he could know. "That's it..." She replied, straightening herself to stand fully once more. He was going to try and attack from a distance, she had no worry for the time being. Right hand was raised, palm facing him. No words spoken, a small sphere of light flashing in front of the outstretched hand, it flickered and rippled outward a second later before vanishing. An apparent means of defense, as the manmade blade crashed into what seemed to be thin air, met by a flash of blue crackling energy before clattering to the ground.
"So flattering that you would recognize me as evil... Though, a demon would be far under me." She hissed, "Of course, I don't expect some stinking human to have the slightest clue on that." Tail swatted, irritably. "Now, should I feed from you further? Or, do you desire the quicker means of escape?"
A set of red irises flashed from behind the man, Yasha's rings dulled to hide her in the darkness. She growled deeply, hackles raised as she crouched. Sparing a glance to her trainer, she froze. ~I want him...~ She demanded, though the look in the girl's eye forced her to wait for a command.

Di was happy to see an Electronic Store and immediately stepped inside and looked around. The place was a mess but this was his only hope to makea regeneration machine. He stepped up to the counter and slammed the broken bell, making the slightest DONG you've ever heard. "Hey! I'm looking for a bio converter with defibrilator!" He asked and looked behind the camera. "Hello?"

"Oh yeah, you think thats something," said the man as he wobbily walked at Hitsuzen, still heavily drunk. "Well, why don't you block this," said the man as he turned around at Yasha while taking out another knife. "I am sure your pokemon will be able to block this," he laughed hysterically as he threw the knife at Yasha. He then dropped to his knees and just started laughing. The man seemed to be completely crazy at the moment.
"Oh shut up!" said an old man as he revealed himself from behind a shelf. He looked dirty, old, and wrinkly, and he didn't smell very nice either. "I sell electronics. Now what is it that you want again," asked the old man while putting on some cracked lenses.
