"No mirror?" But that was just so odd...maybe she was having vision problems. In a sort of whispered voice, since she was still feeling really funny. "Then why can I see myself?" SHe lifted a hand as if to reach out and touch what she thought was her reflection.
She vaguly registered what T....T un....she vaugly registered what the man was doing, and while she saw her mind seemed to be on pause.

"Teon." A reminder. He hadn't messed with her memory to the extent of Aiden's or Cattie's thus simple reminders would be enough for Verdandy to get her to click things. But as Verdandy had slept, Teon had been doing extensive changing to Cattie.
Cattie was in essence, in look, a mini Verdandy. Ears had even been altered. Teon thanked his alchemy knowledge. Besides, it was simple skin and hair pigmentation alteration. That was all to easy to change overnight. "And this is...your daughter. Cattie, you told me her name was. Don't you remember?" But he had messed with her mind enough to implant a few well established lies.

A feral bark called Teon's attention from Verdandy with a wicked smile. Seemed that mutt had done it's job...or it just came back to be punished. Whichever. "I'll let you wake up more...excuse me." A nod and he left Verdandy and Cattie, grabbing a satchel of mixed chemical filled darts and a small dart hand gun.
Making his was upstairs and out the back of his home he happened upon what he wanted. A dire wolf holding a half conscious Aiden in his jaws. Gun and red filled dart withdrawn he shot the wolf. Second dart of purple was loaded and then shot into Aiden.
The wolf promptly went down and in a show of flame, Aiden was forced back to her phoenix form. In one hand he picked Aiden up by the neck, in the other he grabbed the dire wolf by the tail, dragging both back inside and back downstairs.
Verdandy wasn't given much attention right now as Teon went about caging things. The dire wolf was muzzled and thus shoved into his own cage to sleep of his drug. Aiden tucked under his arm, he went to the workbench. From a box there he withdrew a band of sorts. That band was tied around Aiden's beak and he locked her in her own cage that was by her armor. A look to Verdandy now. "Pets...always running away..."

With Verdandy no wresting upstairs with Cattie in a guest room of sorts, Teon was left to deal with Aiden now...who was awake and not too happy at all. The vial shattered as it collided with the bars of the cage. "Thought you would get away did you? I think not Aiden, you are mine. You wouldn't even be a myth without me." He of course was busy loading one of his guns. Five times he had tried to inject her. But with Aiden aware of his intentions, she was making it difficult. Now he regretted not injecting her earlier with knock out.
Aiden paced her tiny cage, flaring her wings and summoning flames from her feathers in a show of agitation. She'd stop every so often to claw at her beat which was bound shut. Then a high pitched trill as Teon landed a dart in her back in her distraction.
Teon smiled and watched her stagger before collapsing, going limp as the chemicals coursed through her fragile system. Then she was compliant once more and he set down his gun, walking over and taking the bird from the cage. "I know, larger dose than you're used to. But I have to blank out not simply your last few days." He cradled the phoenix bird almost lovingly with one arm as the other took to playing with her feathers. "Don't worry my little Aiden, things will be back to normal soon enough."
Feeling her limp in his arms he removed the binding band on her beak. She wouldn't be singing. He was waiting before he changed her and hooked her up, giving himself a rest and deciding how he wanted to keep her. As a bird she was easier to handle, but also easier to accidentally overdose. Slipping her back into that lovely coma could be bad if he didn't force a transformation from her. But she would fight him if he did, the current sedative in her system not enough to affect her in her human form. Teon stopped his petting of her and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Let's start with a clean slate. You can always be taught again."

Again she stood there, dressed in Phoenix stylized armor. Teon was checking her over making sure that her armor was secure and she had all her weapons and the like. Her eyes once again held that soulless look.
"Aiden, Lady of the Phoenix. A myth to be feared and revered all at the same time. You can bring ultimate destruction and you can also bring ultimate salvation. Your fire brings fear and allegiance, your tears bring healing. A Valkyrie, yet not in your ways of battle. You are death and life. Phoenix blood runs through your veins and you, essentially, are the phoenix."
Aiden, nodded void. Already in programming state she was absorbing that information that he was giving her. Who she was, what she did, all the things she needed to know but didn't anymore. He had completely blocked out everything and as he stated, started with a clean slate.
He reached up under her helmet and brushed back a few strands of hair from her eyes. "Now my pretty little birdie. Listen to me, this is what I want you to do...this is going to help us both get rid of a few people and gain a few friends. But remember, anything bad you do...that isn't your fault my Aiden...only the good you will remember." Ha, programming in selective amnesia. "Now listen close..."

Verdandy stagered from the door step, groggy, confused, and feeling out of plae. Her hood was pulled low, and her gloves pulled high. She didn't understand what she was feeling really, and only just grasped the things Teon had told her. Wether or not Cattie was a daughter...she couldn't remeber...then the girl could stay with him for a few days. It wouldn't hurt her.
Cattie walked from the doorstep, head held high, mind almost completely clear. SHe was having trouble figuring out who she was, but that would come with time she was sure. She vaugly recalled leaving her sowrd somewhere to be fixed, and she was angry that she didn't have it in her hands yet. Hood thrown off, gloves discarded, she left the little, dirty village with a purpose in mind.

Teon was, for lack of a better phrase, giddy as a school boy. All his plans were on track. He had a sort of allie in Verdandy, perhaps even a human weapon in Cattie. His Aiden was also under control again and already the news of a great fire was reaching Ko'Naar. Aiden's work...wonderful. So, his day was bright, he was cheerful. A check of the time told him when his Aiden would be coming back to roost...which was quite a ways off. So for now he contented himself with shining her armor that she had left in her short trip back home to get changed.

Lunar Dawn Verdandy walked into the village with a little hum and a smile on her lips. She felt so good! No angry feelings, no lashing out, no anger. It was all such a relief!
She found her way to that tavern that everybody seemed to like so much, though she still kept her hood pulled down to cover he skin. She sat down at a table without a care, ordered a drink. She was so elated that she couldn't remeber what she had ordered. But history enjoyed repeating itself. It was not long before some drunken human decided to fondle her.
His hand....made it to it's destination. And to Verdandy's horror, she could not lift a hand to even bat the man away. Oh goodness no, that would be violent wouldn't it? So with a terrible blush, she allowed the man to do what he would.
Her breathing became a terrified pant when his hands began to travel lower, from her breast, to her stomach, to her abdomen.....

He knew the myths were real. He was not a stupid man. But unlike the others who were trying to disprove myths, he was trying to rule them. Just think about it, whoever ruled over the myths could bend the will of anyone on the plane. Perhaps even farther out to planes beyond.
A chuckle as he continued his little drawings. A pen sketch of Aiden standing before the burning village of Fe'Naal. Well of course he had watched her do it...wasn't too hard to hide when it came to the outliers. Which explained how she had gotten changed so easily.
But now he was back home and making notes and the like. Truly perfection, his Aiden. Now she just had to pass the Elders and then she would prove that perfection and he would go about with his meddling to bring down the myths.

Verdandy was near in a panic. She couldn't defend herself....it was physicly impossible for her to raise a finger. For the love of all that was good she was being molested...and she couldn't stop it!
Could she run? That wouldn't be a...violent act would it? All she had to do was move her legs and she'd be gone, out of town and somewhere other then here where she desperatly did NOT want to be.

The bench was wiped clean in one stroke of its contents with an angry growl from Teon. You think he would of learned before and not ever leave her to her own devices. But as always, he had thought too highly of himself and once again had lost his Aiden. And in effect of that, most likely his chemical control over her.
And he was left with options again. One he could get her back...he had a few plans brewing in his head. Or he could simply forget her and move on. But damn it all, it had taken seventeen years to perfect her and he wasn't about to loose her now. Not at all. As far as he knew, the believers talked of the one who was locked up for her crimes against Fe'Naal, and logic told him they spoke of Aiden.
Coming up from the basement laboratory he left his house and headed to the local tavern to drink off his rage. However something else caught his sight. Seemed Verdandy was having a little problem. Hm...Verdanday...if he could play on the innocence that was now present in the drow, perhaps he could trick her into 'freeing his wrongfully accused beloved Aiden'. Yes, that would work nicely.
Walking over, Teon merely grabbed the brute's wrist and backed him off with a glare. Rather feeble, Teon may appear but he was well respected. "Judging by the young woman's reactions...I would take that as a no. Why don't you go find someone else to play with?" And he waved him off, turning false concerned attention on Verdandy. "Are you alright?" Oh yes, he could easily manipulate her into finding his Aiden and bringing her back.

Verdandy breathed a deep sigh of releif. She had worked herself into a panic...thank goodness someone had stepped in for her. It was nice to know she could relay on such a sweet man.
"I am fine now, ah." She looked down, unable to meet the man's eyes. "I couldn't even defend myself....it is violent to defend because it can potentially hurt them. She shivered and tried to calm herself down.

Teon laced an arm around Verdandy's shoulders and took to leading her out of the tavern now. "Well yes it can hurt people. But it's not necessarily violent to defend yourself." Some reassuring words and a smile to match. He was good at this tricking people thing. "You know...I know someone in your position. Young woman...unable to defend herself. I'm afraid through that she's gotten into a far worse situation than yourself. Yes...my poor daughter is neck deep in trouble."

"Daughter?" She puzzled that a moment. Her memory was a bit fuzzy, but it wasn't THAT fuzzy. "I did not know you had a daughter, Teon." She looked down at the floor. It must be violent to defend, because she was unable to even lift a hand. Felt like it was physicly impossible.
"Trouble? But how can that involve me?"

"She often stays out of the house, doesn't like to be cooped up like some bird. So she's not home a lot I'm afraid. Which is a shame, you would of liked her. The armor you saw in the basement, that's even hers." Throw in a little something that could be considered proof.
"Well you see my dear. I can't go fetch her myself, I'm much too old now to journey that far north from here to where she's being held. But you're still young Verdandy. You could simply go get her for me and bring her back. I'm sure she's just done something stupid to offend someone, no real offense, just a misunderstanding. If you go, your skills of diplomacy that you possess and such a wonderful attitude might convince them to let her go. Easy as that."
