Well, they could just not have the shields at all on the hands.

I was watching discovery channel and some scientise were creating an alloy 100X stronger than steel and 10X lighter so its 1000X times better and its real

as for the sheilds ha well thats funny

for the HUD and stuff we can prolly do better I was watching the military channel and saw something on a suit they made thats links up with almost everything else on the battlefield

and in Japan they have made the paper thin TV screens

not for normal humans though, in the books it describes that you have to have the genetic enhancements such as reflexes the skeleton and muscle layer to handle the suit. its to strong and super sensitive so if normal humans put it on and tried to move it would kill us. even if we twitch, it'll move to fast, and we wont have the reflex's to take it.

happened in the book.....fall of reach...i think, its been a while since ive read them. but yea i think thats the one

Technically, even with the technology today, it would be virtually impossible. Humans aren't able to comprehend with the science shown in Halo and Halo 2. The armor weighs 2 tons alone, which would be impossible to lift on any human's shoulders by themselves. And as for the overshield, it would take science and technology beyond anything we have encountered to create it. There is no way to create a shield powerful enough to deflect bullets that would recharge by itself. But putting bulletproof armor as Master Cheif's actually body suit, would weigh over 2 tons.

But there is a way to create Master Chief's armor as just a type of "clothing." Though it would take a block of high density foam, some titanium alloy, and a lot of paint. Even still, you could create a lightweight version of the MJOLNIR MARK II armor.

At the moment, no. While I suppose it could be possible, the money and research required for it would be ridiculous at this time. In the future however the chances of it are very possible.

Though, myself personally, would not want to get in one. If you read the first book they tested it on a normal human (no augmentations etc.) and it broke every bone in his body.

Meaning, if a suit like the Chief's ever IS made, it won't be exactly like it.

Basically, right now no, the suit can't/wouldn't be made. Sometime in the future however is very possible, with a few adjustments.

If we want to be like Master Chief then we will have to settle for the exoskeleton, also known as the Future Fighter suite.
Who knows, the U.S. government could be up to anything, they have bullet proof trench coats and bullet proof T-shirts, they don't tell us about anything important and they will always leave us in the dark.

Is it stoopid in here...

It'd be really cool if we had the tech to pull it off. Unfortunately I don't think we do. The suit would be cool to have but would be really stupid running into battle with a big green suit. You'd kill your enemies with laughter rather than guns...

...or is it just me?

Two words Suspended animation, prolong your life if by just a few years (200 + years to be exact doing nothing, until they have a cure to remove the fatal side effects of Cryostasis, and extend your living life up a notch, who knows maybe you'll be involuntarily signed up for the Orion Project)

YEAH BUT IT WOULD BE LIKE THE SPACE SHIP IT WILL COST A LOT AND TAKE A WHILE(NOT AS LONG ASTHE SPACE SHIP TOOK)BUT HARD I MEAN I GUESS WE HAVE TO LIKE MAKE IT OUT OF TITAUM ALLOY OR SOMETHING AND THEN PUT LIKE A ZERO GRAVITY INSIDE OF WITH WOULD PROBALY MAKE LIGHT ENOOUGH TO MOVE IN AND THE SHIELD WOULD BE THE SAME AS WHAT SAID

Well...interesting question. Is it possible? Well, when you live by the principle "Nothing is Impossible", yes it is. But there are a few things we must remember. It has to be made out of light-weight, yet sturdy metal, probably an undiscovered alloy. The shield technology is thousands of years beyond us, although it could be done. All that a shield really is, is a magnetic field created around the body that repels all metal and plasma. (Not really, but let's got with that because repelling hits is better than taking them.) Theoretically, if you find a way to charge the metal with a magnetic field that could repel objects, it could be done. That would solve the power problem. But since technically it would repel all objects with the same charge, master chief would not be able to touch anything and some things would be attracted. So scratch that. So the field would be hard to do. And I'm not even covering a power source. It would have to be very very expensive, probably nuclear powered battery to sustain a shield. Also. We must not forget the gel that saves Master chief's life and saves him when he falls and heals him when he is hurt.(supposedly) That gel would be quite simple to create, and I honestly think that something like it already exists. Or at least in testing phase. Now that I covered the armor, let's cover the other components of the armor. AI and the human inside. The human inside with the use of intensive training, performance increasing as well a growth increasing drugs could make you a Spartan. It would probably be illegal and expensive. AI...is not possible by our current science. I won't even have to go into it. Think about it...a smart computer. Considering the Murphy's Law of Computers that a computer is only as smart as it's user..it's technically not possible to create Cortana.

Bottomline: The technologies to develop would cost more than all of technological developments on Earth as of today combined and the creation of the soldier would be illegal. Thus the program would be doomed to fail on Earth from the start.

I was wondering if with human technology is it actually possible to make a suit like master cheifs. I mean one that even recharges and at the same time is bullet proof. This is a halo/science question. anyone know? i am just curious. mrgreen

You could probably make the armor but you could only get so much like the armor itself but probably not the shields and the weight would be way to much unless we made super steroids but that is probably the most at which we could make it but it may be possible to get the shields no one really knows science may find a way but it would probably be a big waste of money because to make all that would cost way to much and to keep making the armor woo even more

Lifeless-Fox
Wouldnt work, Master Chief's suit is 2 tonnes. (or tons)

So it would like.. Break anything you step on.

not to mention every bone in your body. you would have to make some wicked clones to wear that armour
