Clark~Kent When I post a picture of my self, it will be when I am no longer lacking motivation to pretty myself up and find a camera. ninja Oh well, not the pictures I had intended to post.... But I was bored so....
Me in my Indiana Jones and Hermes hats.
Me in my Darth Vader suit.
If only my prom pictures were develloped and scanned, I could display myself in my James Bond tux. whee

They also love Unicorns.

Truly and utterly Kara In-Ze's fault.

[/Rorschach style dialogue]
I think it time to share with you good people a little bit about myself. I haven't been coming here much, but that's a mistake I'm hoping to remedy with time. As many of you already, this is Ashram_VII's mule, but what very few of you know is my real identity.
My name since birth is James Douglas Clemons; most people just call me Doug. I was born in Baton Rouge, LA and spent most of my life in Texas, where my sister was born. I'm 23 years old as of last September.
I graduated college last year with a degree in English Education (c** laude) and my first job was a teaching position at a college in Guangzhou, China, where I currently reside.
Currently I have no big ambitions for later in life ... though I do want to do some things dealing with comics ... mostly academic type writing or, better yet, writings that seek to prop it up as a meritable literary medium. I also wouldn't mind doing more work like what I've come to do with 7S, as its been good writing practice for me as well as ... enlightenment. biggrin
I'm a Christian, have been since I was nine, and my family took great care in raising me with said beliefs. A few things haven't stuck, but for the most part I'm very dedicated to my religion and sometimes probably a little over passionate about it and other things.
The person I respect the most? My father. My greatest mentor and teacher? A man by the name of Jack Cortright. My first love? ... Still searching. biggrin

Following Ashram/Kovacs is a good place for me since I find that people know very little about me as well. In fact: on Gaia I have never told anyone anything about me other then I live in Hawaii.
First and foremost: This is my mule for Red Scully.
Well, my name is Kristiine Elise Haven (pronounced Kris-stein-ee E-Leese Ha-veen). I am 19 years old, but I'm smart. I use to feel awkward for skipping grades but I've gotten over that. I just got done with my sophomore year of college where I am majoring in history, as I want to be a history teacher, and I am minoring in Anthropology.
I school in Honolulu, Oahu. When not in school I live on the Big Island with my family. I will tell you all now that I am not Hawaiian (as I am often asked online when people learn I am from Hawaii); I am Russian/German.
I was born in California, grew up in North Carolina, as well as lived in Washington and Nevada before Hawaii.
I grew up in a very loving Christian family and am one of those annoying people who's childhood was close to wonderful and whose high school years where great. College has been pretty great too. My parents really enjoy traveling; I have been all over the world except for Asia (unfortunately).
I am an animation and comic book enthusiast. I love both, but when it comes to knowledge I know far more about animation history and works then I do about comics, but I hope to change that. Through this thread I know I will learn a lot, which is exciting (I like to learn ninja ). I am a lover of video games and musicals.
Out side of the AMC/GD I am a rather silly person...

Okay good news and bad news.
Good news is, I got my test results from my CATScan and I'm doing fine.
Bad news is, I gotta keep getting these damn scans every 3 months for a year. Which means choking down 2 bottles of disgusting Contrast smoothies.
Grrrrrrrrrreeeeeeaaaaat.

I wouldn't have really let it get me down if it weren't good news anyway.
Although I'm sure I'd be very, very, VERY (maybe even bordering on dangerous) drunk if it were.
