Unfortunately, I couldn't take all aspects of the poem into account, as we were limited to four pages. I just had to adjust and make the story telling clear with what I had to work with sweatdrop
I would have liked to have included brief images of the Jubjub bird and the Bandersnatch as well...

Art post? Hey! Can I put my art up to, if that's ok? ^_^
This is my Sonic character girl - I'm just not that great at drawing Sonic-style yet ^_^;;

I'm really protective of my art... sweatdrop

I'm really protective of my art... sweatdrop She looks great - you've got the proportions right, which is what always lets me down. Do you use a tablet or mouse, or do you scan in hand-drawn art? Does she have a name?

Er, her name's Kay... *points to picture* sweatdrop
I used pencil and paper for now, but I also draw with a mouse on oekaki's and stuff like that. I'm getting a tablet from my boyfriend for my birthday, and I'm really looking forward to that...

I rely on scanning hand-drawn work myself, too, but colouring can get really fiddly when you wind up at pixel level.

Nice work. Your shading and proportion there are really great... I usually find myself colouring at pixel level, too, though I lack access to a scanner, so I do the whole thing via computer. Speaking of which, I might as well post my only piece of Sonic art here, though I could probably better it now... http://www.deviantart.com/view/3188829/(Good gods, my deviantart account has attracted comments in the last year since I've been on it. Mainly the Smithy-in-the-Eggmobile edit, though)

I just wanted to jump on the bandwagon and comment before I vanished again for a few days...
Yay for other people posting art! I love to look at what other people are working on ^_^
Akkito: I love your pose.. your figure is quite fluid. Very nice ^_^
Xagarath: That looks like something directly off the video game! Great rendition!

for something done in paint, most likely with a mouse, that's very well drawn! how long did it take you? i've never been able to work in paint, it's just..too basic for me. ox; *has been spoilt with psp and photoshop*
i only work at pixel level if i scan my images at a lower res and so have to zoom in closer to help me when i'm blending shades together. usually i only zoom in a few times, which miight explain why my colouring can be shoddy at times. cc; i may post some pictures later, but i haven't drawn anything overly sonic-y for awhile now.

Soooo... I guess I took a little hiatus away from Gaia for a while... Been busy with graduation and moving and the like. This guild was the only place I cared about enough to frequent, anyway ^_~ I just started farting around in Open Canvas... I'm still trying to get the hang of it and all. But I thought I'd break it in with some Sonic fan art. I've been playing Sonic Rush lately. Can you tell? XD I hope things are going well for you guys! I'm hoping to go to Dragoncon this year, as well as AWA...so maybe I might meet a few of you. heart

Pretty!
That's easily professional standard. The proportions, the effects... I can't pick out any one element. It all just... well... works!
