She nodded, then went back behind the bar. "Do you care what it is?" she asked, then glanced to Rrazpe. "Could you please go make sure Cryic's in the right room please? I'm not sure I gave him the key to the room I had shown him." she asked, knowing she had taken him to the right room. She was trying to get him upstairs, mostly because she saw he didn't want to be near the angel and hoped that her brother would figure it out also, or at least keep him occupied.

"Not terribly. My name's Ikaran," he said.
Rrazpe headed upstairs and went around the rooms slowly until he heard where Saro's brother was. He went over to the room and said, "Is that the same room as they key?" from the outside.

Cyric opened the door, leaning against the doorframe. "Yea, I've never known her to mess something up like this. Let me guess, someone else came and she wanted to get you away from them, or something like that?" he asked with a grin.
"Saro." She nodded and turned her back to him, scanning the shelves of bottles before her. Grabbing a few, she started mixing together something, making sure to substitute the alchohol with something else. "Any particualar reason you're here? Not the inn, but the town?" she asked.

She put the glass in front of him, before continuing her interrogation. "What exactly are you a scout for, if you don't mind me asking?" she asked.
"Why'd you react like you did? Don't try to say you did't, she wouldn't have sent you up here otherwise." he said, moving back in the room and motioning for Rrazpe to come in also.

He followed him inside as tacitly asked. "I'm a half-demon. I don't exactly have good terms with angels," he said. "Besides that, my mother is a fallen angel, meaning she's a traitor to them."
He smiled as an almost-laugh and then said, "You must not know too much of angels and demons. The Upper Plane in which we reside is our base of operations, and the earth is our warzone. But they've been quiet for a long time now..."

"I have very little to do with beings of the other planes." she said as an excuse, not mentioning that her 'very little' was probably more than most people.
"That would explain it then. Anyway, on a completly different subject, how sane does Saro seem to you? She's always been the normal-est of our family, but also one of the least patient." he said as he sat down on the bed, motioning for Rrazpe to take the chair if he wanted.

He took a judicious sip of the drink, and at the same time looked around and realized the one who'd been sweeping before had disappeared. "Say, where did that other fellow go? Any idea what might have...concerned him?"
"Sane enough to run a business," said Rrazpe guardedly, remembering what she'd said about her family.

He grinned, seeing the reason for his unease. "Don't worry, she and I are the only ones to not fit in with the rest of the family. She's too impatient and I'm too, well, it didn't work very well. Ask her, she'd say the same thing." he explained.
"I asked him to make sure my brother was in the right room, I had only glanced at the key before taking him to the room." she said slowly, wondering if there was more behind his question than simple curiosity.

"I know why he left." He drank a small bit more of his drink (it was pretty good) before continuing. "Angels aren't meant to be just warriors in an army. We're also supposed to help people in need. At least, that's my opinion on the matter, perhaps not what the present High Priest says. I just wanted to know if something might be bothering him."

"He's fine, as far as I know." she said quickly, knowing exactly what was bothering him.
"I can understand that. Our family is known as thieves and assassins, and Saro and I have a harder time once people realize who our parents are. That's probably part of her lack of business, but who knows."

Ikaran didn't try to pursue the subject. Instead he said, "You might want to write what you put in this down. It's heavenly, not minding the pun."
"Or just that few find much interest in an inn full of creatures. Who knows, again," said Rrazpe.

She nodded, and took a key from the rack. "I'll take you to it now, if you wish." she said as she set it on the bar in front of him.
"They're coming upstairs, or will soon." he said suddenly, and pushed his door shut. "You didn't want to be with him earlier, you don't want to now. I'll explain once they're up here." he said in explaination.
