Rinzen nodded in agreement. "There is no greater goal dear lady then peace. I lost my sister and neice in that horrible war of greed. I have no intention of letting it happen again."

Valery nodded to both of their words, but more so Kahlan's. She wiped her tears away, trying desperatly to be strong. Nodding once more to Kahlan, she spoke to Rinzen. "Yes M'lord. Your goal is a righteous one, as I would expect from one such as yourself. It seems this matter is agreed upon completely-the war must be stopped!"

That's the attitude I'm talking about! We will find a way!

She squeezed Valery's shoulder one final time and then released. Kahlan noticed something wrong. She looked around.

Excuse me, mi'lord, but...where did Mollie run off to?

"I have no idea but I hope she stays safe." He said wondering where she went off to himself. He stood and walked over to the tent flap opening it to see a replacement guard in Mollie's stead. "Report any findings." The solider saluted and kept his eyes averted from his lord as he explained things. "The scouts have spotted an orc travsing the county seemingly looking for something. When informed Lady Reguzi insisted on investigating herself a** usual m'lord." Rinzen frowned slightly but nodded. "Thank you." He turned back to his seat and his young guests. "An orc wandering...hmmmm."

Korgath stretched. He turned around and began walking the other way. He entered shops and inspected thier wares, but he didnt find anything he wanted. He left, and looked down the street.

Mollie watched Korgath from the alleyways and her troops watched from other various places. Perhaps he might be safe...but only one way to find out. Mollie took a piece of parchment and wrote a fast note before sending into the air which carried the paper right into Korgath's path...or more persicly it make the parchment fly and then cling to his hand.

As Kahlan watched the elven man go inside the tent, she started to become nervous. Why the heck would a lone orc be loitering around here? Kahlan kept her hand on her sword, almost as if there were something in the shadows that would jump out and attack.

Val...I don't think this place is sa---

A sudden gust of immense force threw Kahlan thrity feet back and into a wall. Before she went unconcious, she thought she saw where the blow came from.

A dark elf? Why would our own kind be atta---

Kahlan faded into darkness.

Rinzen drew a sword that was near his chair and grabbed Valery moving her behind him. The light elves were scrambling to defend their lord and his guests as their captain barked orders. Rinzen moved Valery over to Kahlan on the ground. "Stay down dear lady and keep your friend safe." He then stood and took up a shield that was resting nearby. He would fight if he must. Why did Mollie have to be missing right then?

((Because Kahlan is incapacitated at the moment, I will RP a few of the bad guys! Hope that's ok!?))

A rather tall, muscular dark-elven man stood amongst the massive army of dark elves. Long silver hair down to his mid-back blew in the wind, making him look almost, attractive. Armed only with the sword in his hand, he shouted to his men.

All we want is the princess! Leave no one else alive!

Running with incredible speed, he charged towards Valery and the unconcious Kahlan, ripping through the light-elven troops with ease. Eventually, he got within range and was about to grab Valery, when a blade was brought upon his flawless face, slitting his right eye. He backed down in severe pain. The blade came from a man. Suprisingly, a human man. And that man just so happened to be Carth Onasi, the man Kahlan had seen only a half an hour earlier at the creek. He screamed at Valery.

Get you and your friend out of here! My men and I will take care of this!

Rinzen was fighting with all his might and yet he still hadn't been able to keep the dark elves away from Valery and and her friend. And then to add to the confusion humans appeared and started helping fight off the dark elves. He looked at one of the troops as they lifted a horn to their lips and blow a loud trumpeting cry to try and summon Mollie and her sodilers from wherre they were.

Indeed even in the mists of the market Mollie had trained herself to hear that horn no matter what and with speed that elves are known for she and her small band returned to camp as fast as their legs could carry them to help their lord and master.

Valery paled as all of this happened, but not a cry of fear escaped from her lips. Collapsed by Kahlan's unconsious form she merely nodded when told to take Kahlan out of there. Lifting Kahlan onto her back with a strength most didn't know she had, she ran out of the tent, and went around and out of the camp without notice. Once inside the forest she was almost doen running when she tripped, exhaustion not allowing her to see the root that seemingly came up to trip her in the dark. Falling to the ground, she managed to keep Kahlan on her back, so that no harm came upon her friend. Setting Kahlan beneath a tree gently, it wasn't long before she herself fell into a deep, unwilling sleep.

((I'm going to bring in my new character soon))

Kahlan awoke to see an angel sleeping against a tree. But upon further inspection, it was no angel, it was but Kahlan's love, Valery. Seeing her there resting so peacefully brought a tear to her eye. She deserved a rest after all she had been through. The only problem was that Kahlan didn't know where she was or what happened. When she put her hand to the back of her head, the blood on her fingers told her that's probably why she blacked out. It didn't matter though, how she felt, what mattered was Valery. As Kahlan watched Valery sleep, she decided she needed to get something off her back. Thinking Valery couldn't hear her, Kahlan finally opened up her feelings.

You know Val...we've known each other for a long time. Ever since we were babies, we were the best of friends. But over the years, I have grown very fond of you. I know you probably don't feel the same way about me, but...but I think I'm in love with you. It sounds silly, huh? The worst part is, is that I am a female, and it is not normal for a female to love another female. To think that I don't even have a chance at you hurts me deeply, but I promise, I will continue to protect you for as long as I live.

She sighed.

Love is such a funny thing...

To Kahlan's suprise, when she looked up at Valery, she noticed she had been awake the whole time. She had heard, everything. Kahlan's face turned cherry-red. She felt so ashamed. In embarrassment, she got up and tried to flee.

Korgath Looked at the parchment in his hand. He opened it up and read it...

((whats it say?))

"Wait" the single word, sounded almsot a command, thoguh it was not meant to be one. She was smiling strangely enough, thoguh for now the reason was unknown.

Upon Valery saying "wait", Kahlan slowly turned around. She had to, for she was commanded to. Hoping that Valery really didn't hear what she said, Kahlan made her way back to Valery's side.

I-I-I'm sorry Princess Valery. I was just talking non-sense. Please forgive me. If you would like, I will end my life right here.

While bowing, Kahlan unsheathed he sword. It was a custom to slay oneself if they were to shame the royal family, and what Kahlan had done was unexcusable.
