I don't like Ivrine that much, but Quistis i don't like more she sucks in battle and i hated controlling her. she was too sure of herself. and part of me dosn't know why i do. as for Irvine... he was annoying, kept hitting on everyone, acts cool but can't handle pressure. Squall is the best and has the best developed story-line in the game

NORG would have to be the least favorite. He was weak, greedy, and pathetically easy to beat. I didn't like the way he talked, flailed his arms, or yelled. I was glad to have taken his life. Not to seem crazy or anything...just didn't like him, he was annoying.

how could you hate Zell!!! kanak0 muchi-zetsu yeah Irvine reminds me of this kid I know, he's sleezy and dirty and he can't get a girlfriend so he hits on all his friends, his hair is SOOOO nasty!! omg (not Irvine, the kid) so I think him and Selphie deserve each other because I hate selphies hair... So who exactly do you hate? lol I hate Zell. Seifer was right. CHICKEN WUS!!!!!!!!

I love all the characters now, but when I was initially playing the game and got all the characters, I never liked using Irvine because his limit break used ammo, which cost money and seemed the weakest of all of them along with Rinoa's limit, so I never really used either character much in the beginning. At that time I'd have to say I liked Selphie the most because of her personality and she had the most useful limit at the time, Cure-all. She was the 1st one to get lvl. 100 or Squall might of been the 1st and she was 2nd. Even now, she has the best one. ^^ Instant death to everything including bosses biggrin Idk why, but The End shows up kind of common for me after I managed to use it once. Oh, and Quistis using Degenerator was awesome too. whee
Then after I took a little break from the game while I was in Disk 3 and started playing again, I liked Rinoa more than Selphie, but Rinoa's limit still kinda sucked. Then after finding about the infinite gil trick, I started using Irvine more.

Well I'd have to say out of the main characters you play as.. Quistis is my least favorite.. she was just really lame to use.. her limit breaks were terrible and I never even got them all and I didn't care. At first I thought Irvine cause he was weak just like Quistis but later he became such a BAMF that I used him to kill the Ultimate Weapon and by god he did a good job. Trait wise Quistis cause she was like all knowing and other wise didn't play such a major role as a main character.. for petes sake Zell was more important.
As for NPCs.. Fujin and Rajin were my least favorite. They dogged around with the low life and I think it was Fujin that couldn't speak good english. Always simple words like "KILL!" "STOP!" That frustrated me.. but I'm sure there are worse characters out there in the game but they came first to mind.

There are moments when I get frustrated though. D:

Hm...I kind of don't know whether to put Irvine or choose Selphie.
People like Selphie really piss me off...but I mean...she's a young girl...we were all like that. xD
I share her birthday. >,>
Irvine...sometimes I love him...sometimes I hate him...I can't stand imagining him with a 'western' accent. You know...y'alls and howdies. xD
But I mean...he's HAWT. When I play the game...he's not oo bad...but when you're left to imagine him or read other people's representations of him...he's obnoxious. xD
That's why him and Selphie are good. =]
But yeah...those two.
I prefer serious pepole IRL and in FF8. =]
That's why Seifer and Squall = <3
And to some extent Quistis...but I'm not all lovey for the women in the game, so she's a bronze medallist. x3

Although Quistis had a badass cutscene when exiting Dollet, she did not have the character support in the game. Selphie too but she did have a part where she was a leader and she went to visit Trabia.
When Quistis takes Squall to the secret area in The training Center, what went through my head was "oh god this is too long"
