i think it could be considered both but a clone is not the same thing as the person who created the clone they are diffrent people one is a clone not a person though sweatdrop

I don't quite know who Kurenai is, but it sounds to me as if she is bi/lesbian and masturbating. She likes girls, but only has herself at the moment. I would do that if I could use shadow clone justsu. Seems a lot better than the normal way. stare
If it was a clone as in DNA clone who then grew up and is a living thing then it would not be masturbation, but since this is a literal physical copy of herself, it is just her being in two places at once.
That reminds me of a button I had once; "It's hard for me to sit still in one place at one time and impossible for me two sit still in two places at one time."

Jhay-R I have been wondering this ever since I have seen this Naruto picture... Anyway, Kurenai has the ability to use the Shadow Clone Jutsu. She clones herself, and then kisses, fondles, and in the end has a sexual relationship with the clone. This same question came to mind when I thought of the Kikyo/Kagome pairing... Since Kikyo is with her reincarnation, isn't Kagome basically just Kikyo in the future? I've always thought of this when I'm thinking of this question. To me, masturbating mean you give pleasure to yourself ...
It mean you're the one who feel it
