Viera's eyes widened with realisation and stood up abruptly from the table, the chair toppling over and thunking on the floor with her force, but Viera wasn't angry.

....."you... you used to work for him...didn't you?!" Viera demanded, "That look on your face, it's exactly the same as the other ones who left! And even myself, I'm beginning to get that look as well! only my boss can torture his asassins enough to the point where that sad, death-like look is practically painted on their face, and they reek with guilt!"

"..You did....oh! believe me, Kaira! The only way we're both going to live through this is if you ask for his forgiveness!!" You have to beg! It's for our lives, after all! And don't worry, I'll be there with you, so you won't have to worry about anything. He wouldn't hurt me if I'm in his agency still..it's just if I quit.." Viera's eyes shifted to the floor, she knew she was practically forced to stay in the agency..but would her boss give Kaira another chance, possibly? "come on!" Viera said, grabbing Kaira's hand in hers,"We gotta get to my boss!" Viera pulled Kaira out the front door, but she didn't forget to take her samurai sword with her........just incase..

Viera ran down main streets with Kaira close behind her, soon, night fell upon the land, with a star spotted sky. They were still running, Viera could hear Kaira panting heavilly behind her, but Viera still had plenty of energy to burn.
"Dont worry, Kaira, we're almost there.." Kaira nodded and caught her breath, they were now both walking. they turned into a dark alleyway that crossed with a secret street.
"huh? I've never been here before.." Kaira said.
"This place is like a maze, the only people who know how to get to this street are only in the agency. The secret and well hidden street was dimly lit, except for a large building that was dark inside except for one light on the top floor, Viera pointed, "That's where we're going, and boss is in that room." Viera gestured to the window with the light on. They walked to the building and Viera knocked on the door..feeling for some reason as if she were knocking on death's door. A feeble and old man opened the door and was suprised to see them. It was John Barot, the butler and chauffeur, he had been working for the boss even before Viera was born, she she's been told. As soon as his eyes rested on Kaira, they flashed with recognition.
"Oh Kai...uhm...Viera what brings you and this...friend of yours here?" He asked,
"Well I just need to talk to my boss, thankyou, john." Viera said as she and Kaira went up the stairs through the darkness. And there it was...a dark mahogany and cherry wood door and they could see yellow light peeking in through the crack under the door.
"Is that.."
"Yeah it's his door.."

They creeped up to the door and Viera was about to knock-
"Come in, my dear Viera." The voice from within the room brought shivers down their spines and made the little hairs on the back of Viera's neck stick up. She opened the door slowly, to once again face the man beneath the shadows...

Viera nudged Kaira softly in the ribs to quieten her,
"uhm.. boss" Viera stuttered..
He stood up, his face still hidden.."So..you couldn't kill the girl so you brought her here." He said cooly, his intimidating and overpowering voice paralysing them both to the spot, their legs like lead, inmovable and them vulnerable. He turned off the light..the only light that was their sign of safety...and now it was out..they heard footsteps coming near them..the floorboards beneath his shoes creaking and squealing. Viera heard Kaira whimper with fear and put her arms around her for protection.
"Do you remember me, Kaira? Do you remember me at all?" He teased.
Kaira just whimpered more.
"Do you ever remember why I gave you that job?"
Kaira suddenly stopped whimpering, now in deep thought.

Viera's fists clenched and her blood pulsed.."STOP IT!" There was a ringing silence "JUST....STOP IT! I'M HAPPY WITH WHAT I DO!!"
No I'm not! No I'm not happy with what I do! I've got to stop defending him!
"See?" The boss said, "She's happy doing it, what's the problem in that?"
"She might enjoy it, but it's not healthy for her! AND IT WASN'T HEALTHY FOR ME!!" Screamed Kaira.
"Ooh, so you're starting to remember now. I guess we have more than just scratched the surface of your hypnotism, have we not?" There was a pause, other than the thumping of Viera and Kaira's hearts.
"WHO ARE YOU?!" demanded Kaira in a trembling voice, feeling as if she half knew who he was, herself.
Viera held her breath for his reply..

With a click the light was on, no shadows, they saw in the real light..illuminated for the first time in years...
Kaira gasped...

"You want to know what happened to your family, Kaira?" He said cooly, "You want to know what happened to your family but, my my do you not remember?" he continued, teasingly. "It is YOU, who ended you mother's life. It was one of the reasons why you left this agency, because you couldn't handle the fact that you killed the very woman who brought you into this world!"

Viera heard Kaira suck her breath in with fear...was this man telling the truth? would he really lie..? Viera glanced at Kaira, witnessing all the fear and dark memories best left forgotten creep into her eyes..
her face..and there it was, the look only the asassins of this boss of mine gave them...guilt. Viera thought. Kaira's breathing became sharp and unsteady..she was re-living her sins..
"Look what you're doing to her!!" Viera screamed, pointing Kaira out to the boss.

"Don't worry, it will all end soon, her memory is slowly coming back...she's vaguely remembering the death of her mother. And yes, Kaira, I made you forget, I felt sorry for you, so young and killed so many people, even your own mother. So I made you forget through hypnotism." He sighed ironically, "I guess I had a place in my heart for my own daughter."


Both Viera and Kaira gasped loudly....and Kaira felt that the boss wasn't lying....the deep, overpowering voice, the dark, shadowed eyes, the lean face.... It was him!
Kaira's father looked at Viera, who was also in shock.
"Viera you, too, are my daughter, the two of you are sisters."
..now it all came together! Viera realised why she couldn't kill Kaira..Kaira was her sister!"
"YOU b*****d!" screamed Kaira, tears running down her cheeks, "YOU MADE ME KILL MUM! THE ONLY PERSON I EVER REMEMBER OPENING UP TO!" Kaira took a step forward to her father, making him step backwards, but no fear was shown in him. "And now I'm going to kill you, too.." Kaira said as she reached to her belt...
