Here's some lovely random little poem.
Races to the end
Six feet?
Six feet to the entrance, six feet to endure, six feet till freedom
With each step, the hands quiver.
Still, the sword cries out to be wielded.
The legs tremble,
Yet they keep moving forward.
Five feet?
Five feet to the entrance, five feet to endure, five feet till freedom.
With each step, the air grows light,
But the soul can?t bear to breathe.
The light dims, the music grows heavy,
But the heart still refuses to convert.
Four feet?
Four feet to the entrance, four feet to endure, four feet till freedom.
Although the wounds bleed,
The mind no longer acknowledges pain.
The eyes shut, the senses numb,
But love becomes the guide.
Three feet?
Three feet to the entrance, three feet to endure, three feet till freedom.
The mind races, memories awaken.
Doubts set in and courage wavers.
But the heart still guides,
As the body moves forward.
Two feet?
Two feet to the entrance, two feet to endure, two feet till freedom.
All the strength is exhausted, the spirit collapses,
But the body plunges onward, to fulfill a promise.
Because the heart still refuses to convert,
And the love continues to guide.
Genbu
These black streams flowed from the North
Whilst the winter rain rushed forth.
And slowly yet steadily,
Mercury's undying wisdom showed to me
What was meant to be concealed
Was now brightly revealed.
Aki no kaze
Autumn wind sweeps by
Tugs at the thread of old life,
With promise of new.
Shadow of a dream
Erase my existence?
Make me fade, make me into a dream.
Show me a false happiness
And make me unreal.
Hide all this pain
That my reality placed upon me.
I'd rather take the fake joys
You painted for me.
Then accept the real sorrows
God has injected me with.
Let me fade into nonexistence.
Let me dream.
Let me dream.
If only for a bit longer,
Let me dream.
Just let me dream.
