Well..and then there's the power play. The Seiryuu side is easily stronger, Nakago could beat all the Suzaku, basically at once, so add the rest of the Seiryuu to him and they have more power easily...But because they have been fated to be the bad guys they HAVE to lose.

It's generally true that in movies etc the bad guy is fated to win "Hollywood's happy ending", except the horror movies lol. Nakago did make the mistake of Yui though, he presumed because he threatened her she would make him a god but she didn't, she freed Suzaku giving Miaka the power to summon him. So I guess it's a matter of will power. Yui knew she would end up in Seiryuu either way but she wanted to do some good and give Miaka a chance, also, there was the chance that Miaka would free her, Nakago would not.

Always has to be the goody-goody and svae the day. I don't blame Yui for dumping whatever that drink was on her. Ha ha, Seiryuu doesn't have to use the corny hero lines xd .

I always liked that pic biggrin I heard the theory that the four gods are Taitskoun's sons remember at the end you saw Taitskoun in his true form ie. as a man, pretty cool. Taitskoun is supposed to be the ruler of the universe so it makes some sense.

I had never heard that theory...But if thats the case...then the Suzaku have an unfair advantage from the very beginning. You might want to consider however...I forget which episode, Nakago is in the shrine of Seiryuu and calls Yui in and she's being all sassy and he talks to her about Taitskun, and he "invoked" Taitskuns opposite on her behalf. So I don't know how that woulod pan out in that theories situation.
