MaraArsonJade ¬¬ So umm... I'm thinking of dropping out of college and joining the Air Force. o_o I just feel like the general education involved with college is such a gigantic waste of my time. I really can't stand it. And I wouldn't be surprised I if I haven't all ready been dropped from two of my classes all ready. I just cna't get up the work ethic. And English 101 is one of the stupidist, most pointless classes in creation. LoL I agree, English is stupid and pointless. I mean unless you are going to be a writer, what's the point of having to learn the language you are fluent in, better. And if you went into the AF you would still be required to take classes left and right to pass basic training. What major are you going for? The AF can get you there faster and with less BS than if you go to a conventional college anyway.

Though, I will say, that any English learned in college, is useless, unless one is an English major/minor or is majoring/minoring in a field that requires a lot of writing, such as philosophy. Although, one thing English 101 is good for, reading comprehension, everyone in college needs it, you will not pass without it.

English 101 doesn't involve Reading COmprehension. It's a writing class. I tested out of ALL Reading Comprehension classes.
And I wanted to be a Theatre Teacher. At this rate I don't even know anymore. I've been having tons of fun doing costuming and ceramics. So who knows. But I feel like I'm not going to get anywhere in life and if my Mother, Father, Grandfather, Grand Uncle, and God Father can deal with the BS, well so can I. That and I also knwo the oldest Lt. in the Air Force. If I do go in, I want to become a Russian Linguist like my mum was.

I don't know much about the Air Force, itself...I just know people in the AF...and most of them aren't all that nice. A lot of the ones I know are stuck up brats who think they need whatever they want before anyone else gets it...and will do whatever to get it. *shrug* The constant training, insults and berating you might get from a commanding officer wouldn't exactly be good for you...I wouldn't think that would be a good place for you, from some of your previous posts about being really torn up inside, Mara, but if you think it is. Go for it. Only you know what is the right decision for yourself and it's not like anything we say can change your mind, once you've made it.

Everyone I know from the AF is extremely nice.. except for my father. >_> Infact the only people in the AF who aren't nice are MPs (Military Police), which my father was. o_o So maybe you've just been meeting MPs? @__@ I dunno. The rest of my fmaily is great and all my friends from there are wonderul.

I liked the bunny masks, basically because one would have gone with my bunny hat. I haven't seen any of the other stuff...*shrug* My poor grandma hurt her back. crying So we have to go to the chiropractor for a while..he is a good one and will help her I am sure. I am learning how to crochet..slowly but surely. My kitties think the yarn is their toy soo sweatdrop I have to be careful where I put my yarn. Forgive me if I have asked this question already..I have a TERRIBLE memory! sweatdrop But has anyone gotten anything from 'Noix de Rome' a doll site?
