Iris was confused and shocked by Tobi coming over ans suddenly scratching her back for her. Her face flushed red anew as she snuck a glance at him quickly before going back and burying her face in the cocoa. "Yes, that's better."
His hand felt very nice against her back, as it was a warm and comforting pressence behind her. "Could scratch on the edges of the big burn scar, please? It's the really big, shiny one that goes everywhere."

Tobi nodded and ran his fingers over the instructed area, marveling her courage for being able to still face people. Finally he scooted over near enough that he could get boths hands on her back. It was gentle, covering every inch of her skin.

His hands on her back were soothing and gentle, and Iris closed her eyes as her blush slowly faded. The aeromaster pulled up the back of her shirt a bit more so that Tobi could better scratch her back without her shirt getting in the way. As she did that, she ran a hasty hand through her newly dried, soft hair.

Tobi moved his hands up to her shoulders and afte a little of scratching be gan to rub in soft circles, and then he began to massaged her tense muscles. Whistling soft under his lips, his hands worked diligently, "You're a-as te-tense as a bo-a bow st-string."

"Yeah...with all that's happened, I'm surprised my muscles haven't snapped from all the tension they've been under..." Iris said just as softly, pulling her knees up to her chest and resting her head on her knees. Wrapping her arms loosly around her legs, she let her shirt fall down her back a bit.

He worked silently, and eventually he pulled her shirt down having finally felt her loosen up, and then really without thinking about what he was doing he held up his hand and a brush from the bath room floated sliently over to him, he reached over and began to brushe out her hair, gently removing tangles.

"Mmmm..." Iris hummed, enjoying the feel of the brush running through her hair. After he had brushed her hair out, Iris leaned back to rest her back against Tobi's chest.

Tobi smiled and rested his head against her's, his arms wrapping around her shoulders. A sense of peace passed over his form, and he smiled; he never thought he'd find a girl again, not after what Niha had done to him, but Iris (she was a goddess) knew the pain of betrayal, and he knew with out a showdow of a doubt knew that she would never try what Niha had done to him. His wrapped arms closed in just a bit to hug her, although, he knew they'd have to take it slow, both were still healing from wounds, and it would take a while.

Iris smiled when Tobi wrapped his arms around her. She had only met him yesterday and knew next to nothing about him...but she felt calm and content. She snuggled into him, just basking in front of the fire and letting him hold her. She had never imagined that she could feel so at home with someone, so wanted...
She wrapped her arms around his and leaned her head into his in return, happy and at peace for the first time in her life...the storms had finally passed, letting the quiet little house to be drenched in sun once more.

Tobi smiled and a curtain slowly opened bathing the room in light, "Iris? How ol-old ar-are you? Ou-out of pure cu-curiosity..."

"I'm 18...what about you?" Iris replied, blinking spots out of her eyes from the unexpected sunlight coming into the room. She held up her right hand in front of her so she could look at the bracelet that was there. Putting that hand to the neckalce she wore, Iris added on, "Do you want me to invite over my adoptive brother, Kiress?"

An eleven year age gap...Iris gave herself a mental shrug. "Alright then, let me send him a message to get him over here..." Picking up a bit of static from her clothes, she gave it power and turned it into lightning. Using the heat of the lightning to heat the pendant, she recorded her message.
"Hey, Kiress, it's me, Iris. I've had a little change of plans from what I told you earlier. If you want to come visit, and you're more then welcome to, right now I'm at the small, brick house just outside of the town circle, the one that just had a line of small storms go over it. I swear if I ever find who did that...well, please feel free to come over when ever you like. Bye."
Taking the heat away, she sent the message to the fire sprite. "I hope he comes soon."

"That's cool! Where did you get that bracelet?" He asked running his fingers over it.

Kiress stopped infront of the door and looked around, 'Quaint little place, wonder who lives here...' He shurgged and finally raised his fist to rap on the door. He waited, casually shifting from foot to foot.

"I made it..." Iris said, smiling softly and blushing a bit. His fingers were soft and warm against the pulse in her wrist. "I made an identical one for Kiress, so we could communicate with each other while I was gone...I had planned to stay in the woods at first instead of helping you back to your house..."
Kiress' knock echoed through the house and, though she really didn't want to, Iris stood up and went to the door, explaining, "That's probably Kiress. Little fire sprite sure is fast..."
Opening the door, the aeromaster caught Kiress up in a sisterly hug while she waited for Tobi to follow. "Hey Kiress, how've you been?"
