Its Spelled C H O R U S ..Switchblade Saint... yah, they are sorta mainstream now, but not so much, alot of people dont know about them :0. If they hadn't been sorta mainstream i would have never heard of them, but i only have Our gangs dark oath :0 i dont have nightmare anatomy yet -sinner sinner me!- but i cant wait for the next EP either ^_- I don't think I'd describe them as 'mainstream' now. I have not met one person in my area who knows who they are, and barely any on Gaia. (off of the Aiden Guild & thread & the M=L guild.) i guess so. i introduce them to people so ja ^_^

At my skool I got a whole ******** lot of people to like Aiden. I think about 60% of my skool knows who Aiden is. ((We don't have that many gangstas at my skool...just lots of "emo" people))
So it all depends on location and how coolio the people are.

In one sense it would be good for them economically but on the other, it pisses the hell out of me when I see MCR in J-14 or whatnot. I'd hate to have all my fave bands sell-out MTV-ish-ly.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that Aiden commercials are played really often (on fuse) though I am yet to see their music video played on TV.

I am afraid they might be about to go mainstream because if you bought the Hawthorne Heights CD, it came with a DVD and on it was the music video for "The Last Sunrise." The DVD was supposedly an unseen episode of some show. It was mainly for Atreyu on Victory label, but it still had it in there. So I am quite worried. I would hate it because there's a REALLY preppy girl at my school and I was listening to MCR on my headset and she's like "OMG! Is that, like, My Chemical Romance?" And I said yeah, so she replied "I LOVE them! They are like my favorite band! I am like they're biggest fan!!!" So I asked if she had gotten the first CD and which song was their favorite off of that album and she was like "Huh? They only have the one with Hillary" (She mistake HELANA!!!) So I said "They have another CD AND a DVD set, missus number one fan." She was just all angry looking. I would HATE it soooooo bad if Aiden went mainstream because it would be the EXACT same thing re-inacting itself!

I`d hate for Aiden to go mainstream, image all the little girls going 'I`m gonna marry wiL!!!11'
Then all these people who come in saying how much they hate the band just because they are bigger.
I like that where I come from I can chatter to Sara about them and all these people are like 'WTF is Aiden?'

Wow you deserve a cookie for posting this...*gives cookie* It would be horrible if they went mainstream! I hate it, because I do listen to MCR, but all these people don't even seem to be aware of their first album, they just know Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. It's stupid...and teenies are just plain disgusting...

Anywho..Aiden is gaining A LOT of popularity.
Fuse is starting to realize that and they are playing them a little more. They finished first for best make-up and best new band on warped.
I'm afraid that they are getting too popular too fast.
Aiden has won every award they have been up for, thus resulting in curious people and new fans. Well it's hard to explain but I really don't want them to go mainstream, I wanna still be able to hug them at every concert! And that makes it harder if they are popular.
But I'd be happy for Aiden if they ever went mainstream. They deserve the success.
But I am happy that the commercial has been sleeping lately!^^
