"Oh, okay..." Red nodded, heading back over to where she was sitting before. She didn't wan to seem rude, but she didn't take Kavi to be an 'outdoorsy' person, and she was just trying to be a helpful as she could. Not to mention she was getting bored with how quiet things were around camp. Finding things to do to keep busy might bea challenge... Red picked up the spear she was carving, and started cutting out little patterns along the handle to keep busy, while also keeping an eye on Kani as she set up. "So... What do you do for a living?"

Kani let out a happy squeak as she noticed the tent came with basic instructions. Awesome! It would be lame if she wound up needing help after declining Ruby's. She spent the next few minutes carefully setting it up, using the flat end of her axe to knock a few pegs in and things like that. Hearing Ruby's question, Kani felt a mix of annoyance at not being recognized, and excitement at a good introduction opportunity. "Oh you don't know me? I'm an idol and I have a little show on the internet. Here, tell me if this rings a bell." Kani took a few steps into a clear area, before holding up an imaginary microphone and striking a pose. With that she danced around a little, leaning close to the imaginary camera. Kani made a few hand gestures and put on her best smile, before spouting her usual opening line. "Hai hai Kani-cubs! Thanks for tuning in to this week's Kani Corner!" Everything she was doing was unbelievably cutesy and more than a little dumb. Apparently there was a moderate audience for this kind of thing though. With that Kani sort of petered out. She sat down on the nearest seat like space, looking back at Ruby. "That's the general idea. I have some saved on my phone if you wanna watch!" Kani offered, smiling warmly in her direction. "So what do you do?" She added, a little curious.
Backpack / Purse: Kani is wearing the backpack provided for her, and has her purse looped several times through the arms and such. The backpack contains most of her survival gear, while the purse is more easily access and contains her taser, knife, sun screen, make-up, and toiletries.
Taser: Bear strength. Incapacitates any target. Enough charge for three uses. Water resistant, but not water proof. Smart Phone: No signal, of course. Has enough battery for two days of light functionality, or five hours of active use. Sun Screen: One hundred SPF for complete protection against the suns harmful rays. Make-up: Pretty much everything you'd need for a night out on the town. Not particularly useful, but maybe good for the cameras. Toiletries: Various paper products like tissues and napkins.
Sleeping Bag: Water proof. Fits only one, unless seriously snuggling. Portable Tent: Fits only two, again unless uncomfortable and awkward. Water Bottle: Fits one liter of water. Hatchet: Light weight yet sturdy and sharp. Thermal Blanket: Water proof. Covers two people. Flint Stick: Creates perfect sparks to start a fire. Water Purifier: One drop per one liter of water. Swiss Army Knife: Sharp six inch flippable knife.

Red couldn't help blushing as Kani complimented her work. She was always embarrassed about showing it to people... Red couldn't help yawning, looking at the moon and looking around. The rest of the group still wasn't back yet, but she was beginning to get tired. She turned to Kani with a smile, "Hey, what's your favorite animal?"
(OoC: I'm gonna work towards sending her to bed soon, so we can move into the next day. That way if anyone's waiting to rp and wants to start in, they can.)

Walking back into the camp she heard some new lively voices. Walking along the shadows of the trees veve was careful to not give herself away as she observed the new girls quietly. Seeing as they were just contestants veve came out from the shadows as she was carrying the gutted fish and other sorts into camp. "Hey, I see you made yourself at home". Veve, walked up to the drying rack placing all the fishes but one on it. "I'm veve by the way". She looked at the girls more closely now then continued her work and walked towards the fire pit where she placed the fish on a flat stone that was in the fire pit to cook. "So what did I miss while I was gone?". Curiously veve just asked; atleast she would be caught up.
