Ash looked over at her. "So Nova, what's your story? I'm kinda curious." He was. Very much so. the girl intrigued him. Most people had seen at least one person outside their race at some point, but she said she hadn't.

My mother told me that I was dead when I was born and that my father, who was also dying got to hold me once before he died too. But apparently after my father died I woke up and amazed everyone who was with my mother that day. They said it was truly a miracle, but my mom thinks that my father was supposed to die in order for me to live....so he could live as part of me." Nova paused thinking that it was definitely a possibility that part of her father's soul is within her, "Well it was the reason I was named Phoenix. Because once it dies it is reborn from it's ashes. Well anyways, my mother never remarried, and because she was scared that I might catch the same illness my father had, she demanded that I only make friends that are vampires as well." She said slightly shaking her head, "Well clearly she was wrong. But I lived like that for 13 years, then one day I went out into my backyard and for some reason I just felt like I had to climb this tree. When I did I found a box inside this hole, when I opened the box I found the two pistols. I went and showed my mother and obviously she freaked out, I mean who wouldn't freak out when their 13 year old is waving around a pair of pistols." She said then laughed lightly thinking back to the day she found her pistols, "Apparently the two pistols belonged to my father, how ironic. But just about everyone said that I was meant to find them, and so now I use them as my weapon of choice." She lifted one of her pistols out of her lap and held it up in the air, "I've named them Star and Nightfall." She said then looked out toward the lake, "Well, I trained with my pistols for 2 years then my mom decides that now, at the age of 16, I can finally make friends that aren't vampires." She said then looked back to her pistol. ✶ ☆═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☆ Ѳ.Ѳ.Ҫ: That truly was the cheesiest thing I've ever read. Hahaha.

Ash listened intently, and smiled at the end. "You really are interesting, Nova. I like that. A lot." He frowned for a moment. 'What is wrong with me? I sound so weird.' He smiled again. "I don't think I can beat that."

"Huh?" He looked at her, then scratched his head. "Um. Alright. I was born in the Wizard Kingdom, but most of my life was spent in the Demon Kingdom because after my parents died, A traveling demon took me in and brought me back to his country. His son basically became my brother in the process. Because of how I look, guys were constantly after me to be with them. So, I got in a lot of fights. To this day, they still think I'm a girl, but whatever. My weapon was given to me pretty much as soon as I could hold it." He pulled the rapier from his side and unsheathed it. "I never named it. It was made by my dad as soon as he returned to the Demon Kingdom. He made it from ore he found on his journeys, enchanted steel capable of breaking barriers and maintaining a magical charge for my magic." He shrugged, smiling awkwardly at her. "Nothing important."

"No. It really isn't." He blushed, putting the fencer's blade back into its sheath. "I dunno. It's only a piercing weapon. It has no edge and is only useful for stabbing and magic." He set it aside. "It's a bit difficult to use unless you're quick and small like I am." He was obviously embarrassed, looking away. "You're really pretty, y'know. It's a little hard for me to concentrate." His blush got deeper.

Ash shrugged. "Uh, sure. Should be interesting." Being raised in the country of demons, by Wrath Demons, made him prefer melee weapons over ranged. He preferred being up close and personal in a fight. However, ranged did have its merits. It was the reason why he used magic during a fight.
