Maeve narrowed her eyes at him but felt her cheeks go flush. Thrusting her hands forward against Craig's chest so he thumped back to the ground Maeve stood up and retreated back to her safe distance away. "Tch, disgusting." She muttered to herself as she plopped back down onto the sandy dirt. "I really dont care, I just dont think its morally right to throw away your life as though you think it isnt worth anything, while we are all busting our asses to try and live longer," Casting a side glance over at Lillithe then added, "and possibly overthrow the man who is needlessly killing us." It was all she could do to keep a cool composure, her heart was hammering inside her chest. In her rage Maeve had forgotten about personal space, and it had been a long time since she actually had been that close in contact with someone.

Craig said as he slowly sat up and began to get to his feet, his legs shaking a little as he finally got up, "but I know you don't mean it... deny it... but you shown me... you're a human... just like me..." Craig said as he slowly walked towards her and stopped just behind her, "You don't have to shut us out..." Craig with a smile on his face, it was weak but it was true "There's still some humanity left in the world..." --------------------------- Fire! ---------------------------

"Of course I'm human." She muttered, staring angrily at the dirt. Reaching into her pocket and pulling out her flask again Maeve downed the last of it and looked at it with a sad expression on her face, wishing it had more. Noting to herself that she would have to refill it she swallowed the burning liquid and tears sprang into her eyes but her stomach started to warm her from the inside out. "Are you going to stand there swaying in the breeze like a piece of grass or are we going to try and find this underground place, since you refuse to sleep?" Getting back up on her feet Maeve nudged Lillithe with her foot again, sighing and putting her hands on her hips. Chewing on her lip in though Maeve leaned down and picked up the girl again, this time shifting her to her back and giving her a piggy back ride. Since Lillithe was still in a daze her body was limp, meaning she would have to lean forward more to keep the girl from falling off. Tightly looping her arms under the girl's thighs Maeve moved closer to Craig, but still remained a few paces away. "Any ideas as where to go?"

Craig McCafferty ----- Age: 21 ----- Abilities: Fire Manipulation ----- Status: Sick ----- (HP 3170/4000) "Mess with me and you'll get burned..." --------------------------- Irish --------------------------- Craig kept his smile but shrugged his shoulders, "I have no idea... i'm new to the city" Craig said as he coughed again, it was getting worse, the virus was spreading and in his current condition fighting would almost hopeless for him, he'd be beaten senseless, on his way he had heard about how the army received cures right away but he had never understood what that meant until now, "I doubt I could fight anyway... I heard someone mention that soldier get vaccines, is that true...?" Craig asked as it seemed like a possible solution. --------------------------- Fire! ---------------------------

Maeve nodded. "If you can find one and wrestle it out of him that it." The sun beat down heavily, being at its highest point in the sky for the day. Maeve's back already felt slick with sweat from the combined heat of her own and Lillithe's. "We had better get moving. I have a room rented at the Inn near here, maybe I can leave the girl there while you rest a little more and try and find more information about the Underground from the owner of the place." Maeve made a little jump to adjust Lillithe's perch on her back so it was a tad bit more comfortable, but there was nothing comfortable about feeling smelly and dirty.

I could be cured..." Craig said as he then looked around and then thought of what Maeve said "Alright... but if she blows something up its not my fault..." he was sure with Lilly there something was bound to cause some chaos and Maeve would probably be mad at him for not stopping it. --------------------------- Fire! ---------------------------

Maeve blinked, face darkening, but she bit her tongue to prevent herself from being a hypocrite. She didnt like the sound of his proposal, she didnt like the idea of someone working for Lucius, but it would give him an antidote to every poison they spew out into the air. But then again, why did she care? Bouncing Lillithe up on her back again Maeve started off in the direction towards the Inn. "Lets go." She told Craig, ignoring his statement about joining the ranks. ((exit))
