G_E merely nodded to the others and led the children to the entrance, staying off to the side. Purposefully drifting to the down-wind side of the entrance. Their scent shoudn't cause any problems as they tried to move like shadows through the ruins.
She crouched down, motioning for the children to copy her and waited for the distraction.

Zahar went in first and peeked around. 'All clear still Kataio.' She moved in close to Chae and waited.
Kataio slinked carefully into the ship and through the hole to the Rade caves. after in she stoood a moment still adjusting to the light as she took off her sunglasses to see better in the dark. She saw Chea and Zahar and headed to them slightly crouched as she made her light steps. Now how to make a distraction for the others....

((After the worst case of writers block, computer crashing, and other foibles, hopefully we can finish this up....finally >.< Sorry everyone))
Chae looked about. She could almost hear the heavy, animal breaths of the Rade there. Peeking up quite gradually, she could make very little out in the darkness. But then as her eyes adjusted, there was movement.
Large...ungainly movement.
Containing a curse, she looked at Kataio and drew a finger across her throat in the clearest sign of "oh s**t, we're in danger" that she could pantomime.

Kataio nods seeing the Rade and points to Zahar and then back to Cheaval. Stay with Chea ok Zahar? I will only be one moment. The little girl nodded and moved in closer to Chea.
Kataio stood quickly heading as fast as she could toward the Rade. The corridor branched out one way to the tresure and the left way to a maze of tunnels. She pushed the Rade against the wall with a sharp gust of her wind magics, stunning it enough to get past it and start down the left hand side. Good no more Rades yet. Kata called her sword to her hand and she ran a bit further down the tunnel and then turned.
The Rade was close on her heals. She had only shaken it up enough to get past and agrravate it enough not to check out the place where she appeared from. It's tongue lolled around and it's dark eyes were filled with anger. She made herself look tired and slouched a bit, giving the Rade the idea she was too weak to fight. Kata's hand gripped the sword tightly just before the Rade sped up and pounced.
Kataio pushed it mid jump back into the wall with a strong wind blast. She heard a crack of a broken bone on it's impact. The Rade whimpered and tried to get up. Smirking cruelly then shaking it off as she realized she was doing it, she darted over to the Rade and plunged her sword into it's throat slicing it's head off.
Zahar my girl you can tell the others that it is safe now. Kata wiped her sword on the rades body all the rest of the blood seemed to soak into the metal itself.
Nika, Shiva you two can bring G_E down now. It is safe for the moment. Head down the path to the right. Zahar stood and pointed towards the left side where Kataio dissappeared and hoped Chea would understand.
Kataio started back to where the to paths met.

Shiva pulled gently, just once on Gee's hand and then began to move forward cautiously. Her eyes adjusted well to the dark, and she was able to make out the fork in the caverns.
*What next?* she asked, her voice quite calm amongs the cacephony of smell and sounds.
Nodding, Chae lifted Zahar into her arms and walked as quickly as she could to meet where Kataio had gone. When she came to the fork in the path, she stopped, confused and wondering which way to go.
The smell of blood was much, much heavier here...and fresh. That understanding made her slightly ill to her stomach. What was this that she had volunteered for?

G_E pushed the heavy feeling in her gut away and squeazed Shiva's hand when the girl grabbed for hers. Double-checking to see if her boy was close behind her, G_E entered the cave walking faster to stand infront of Shiva, shielding her from any sudden attack.
The darkness wasn't a problem for her. She could see surprisingly well.
The faint smell of blood made the feeling in her gut return. Blood wasn't good... Were the others okay?
Nika followed close behind Gee and Shiva, his blade held out in front of him.
'Zahar said to go right...' he slowly passed Gee and Shiva, ignoring the hand Gee tried to keep him behing her with. Without making any noise, the boy tip-toed to the corner and peeked around it, squinting into the darkness.
There was no sign of movement.
'Come on,' he beckoned towards Shiva and his chosen.

Kataio watched as the others dissappeared down the other path. She heard scuffling coming from the way that they all had come. Kata whispered, "I think it's time for another distraction. I hearsomething back the way we came." She reached out for Chea to hand Zahar to her. "We better make them come this way and not towards the others. Any ideas?"

Chae scopped up a handful of rocks, her other fingers tightening around the barrel of her pistol. Looking warily about, she began to toss the stones towards the Rade, unevenly spacing the impacts so that it did not seem to be contrived or unnatural.
Hopefully it would get their attention without having them raise immediate alarm. If they came to investigate, they could handle a few. But not the entire cave.
What the hell was so important here that Ice wanted them risking their lives?

Chae's nerves were to the breaking point. She was already tired, stressed and worried about Shiva. Even though she knew her girl was safe and sound, she worried. Gee had better take good care of her, dammit!
Eventually she could hear the slight padding of feet. Clenching her jaw, she hoped the silencer on her gun was as good inside as it was outside. It wasn't like she used the thing for more than target practice usually!
When the beast came in sight, she took in her breath. It was...huge. Literally. Ice wanted them...wanted SHIVA to pad around in here with these things?!?!
Before the thought finished, her finger tightened on the trigger and she fired quickly. Another dead Rade, and her twice as worried.
