Did that just happen?Darian took note of his name, doing her best to commit it to memory just to prevent some awkward moment down the line, and she wasn't very good with names, so it was bound to happen anyways. "Ali it is then" she chirped simply enough, that was easier to remember. However when he mentioned that she would eventually laugh a lot more she smiled a little "Well... they do say confidence is key" she hummed arching a brow when he said he was top of his class "Now you're just pulling my leg" she said, ignoring his normalcy and gong comments. Just give me a minutesoon enough she found herself back in his car, pleased that her stuff hadn't taken up much trunk space at all since it meant she could squeeze a few more things in from the loft "To the end of this block, make a right, four blocks down... the four story white building" man she needed to get better at remembering street names "Speed limit.... i find it to be more of a... guide line than a rule"well...shithshitshitshit I'm alive But I don't need a witnessthe mat keeps tripping

Going nearly twice the speed limit slowing only so much before making the turns, oddly enough it was all a smooth ride, even when dodging around other cars, in under a few minutes they were in front of the white building she had told him about. Parking in front of it with a few odd looks at him he chuckled. "Shall we go." he said waiting to follow her. ll Out. Of. Concern ll

I'm writing...Everette chuckled lightly when Ephigi mentioned cutting himself off "A true show of willpower that few will ever accomplish" however the comment that followed after concerned him a little. His brow furrowed slightly "Perhaps..."Highly unlikely... and concerning he kept the later to himself, biting his tongue a moment to prevent himself from blurting something uncomfortable out. thankfully his thoughts were pulled away from dwelling upon that subject when he was asked about his coffee intake. "In a day? More than i should" he said, thinking about it before drawing a conclusion "A minimum of ... five cups?" he said still not completely confident, in that number, which is why he felt the need to specify minimum. his attention was drawn up over Ephigi's shoulder when the girl spoke up, asking for their ketchup. "Umm. Yeah" he said, pushing the bottle to Ephigi motioning for him to pass it, while he reached over to the table behind them, quickly snatching that ketchup, finding one more use for his, as he perceived it, awkward height.

Ephigi go boom Stopping in the mid of his drawing he blinked giving a nod as he agreed, coffee was something they would need to replace with another energy supplement. Then when asked to hand over the ketchup he took it and turned to look at the person his hand holding out the ketchup. She looked familiar but at the same time he couldn't think of anything that she would remind him off so he simply put it off. "Here you are." he stated his eyes blinking once more his mind fixating on that day he let the other go it was then when it clicked in his mind and from there he simply forgot about it as his attention was drawn to his own empty cup. A LUNATIC dreams that one day he may rest with out having to worry about sleeping with ONE eye open.

Did that just happen?Darian laughed softly as Alistair went on with his little announcement, the ride really taking no time since he went damn near twice the speed limit, though it was a surprisingly nice ride. "We shall" she chirped walking quickly into the building, stopping at the front desk to sign out a little roller cart simply because she didn't want to carry all of it. Thankfully the elevator was industrial sized "This way... and mind your step" she said pushing the cart over the small gap between the floor and elevator, waiting only long enough for him to step in before manually sliding the elevator gate closed before hitting for the third floor. It was a loud and obnoxious ride but soon enough they were there. The building wasn't that big and the rent had been cheap since no body other than another artist, and a motorcycle officianto had been interested in this place and the top floor had remained empty for a few years before she got it. the place was filled with large mounds of clay formed into various shapes, a few bodies sculpted, lots of interesting shapes and small do-dads, but there was more than just sculptures around the floor. Countless canvasses were around the floor, many on their own stands, some of scenery, others abstract, though she was more interested in the blank canvasses. She needed just two more subjects for her exhibit, but she couldn't decide between two paintings or one painting and a sculpture. She grabbed two blank canvasses, her paint kit, her brush kit, her pallet and then a tub of clay, overall it would fit in the trunk she just didn't want to carry all of this down or make too many trips, the elevator was annoying enough just going up and down, a few time could drive her mad. "Okay, that's it.. I think" she said once more pulling the cart towards the elevator. Just give me a minutewell...shithshitshitshit I'm alive But I don't need a witnessthe mat keeps tripping

Alistair smiled happily "Yes, she left the gate open, time for some real fun." he flew past the gate and when they came around to the Large Mansion he turned the wheel hard, sliding sideways to a stop. "Always wanted to do that." he got out of the car looking around in the usual spots to see if he saw Lexi anywhere. ll Out. Of. Concern ll

If I could be the devil, you could be the sinner Roxy watched the two leave the building and drive off, she didn't think following them any further was necessary, she had already gotten enough pictures and a place where one of them might live. She examined the shots she had taken, carefully looking at the ones of the woman, she was getting the urge to ask her a few questions but Roxy was afraid, afraid to go up to her and mention the killer, she sighed feeling disappointed in herself for not having the gall to talk to her when she had the chance.
Her stomach grumbled, she still hadn't eaten anything, she thought back to the bakery and how she had ran out without food, she had to be less impulsive, especially when the risk is starving.
She walked down the street eyeing restaurants that she passed, every single one so far didn't appeal to her tastes, that is until she passed one who's aroma she could not ignore. she moved to the restaurants window and peaked inside. There were very few people inside, not that Roxy was complaining, but the ones she saw seemed to really be enjoying their meals. She kept scanning inside until her gaze landed on someone she recognized, Everette, she met him a few times when she had to personally deliver some pictures to him, she wondered if he would remember her.
She walked inside and picked a table that was slightly farther away from the others, She ordered a large cup of coffee and pancakes, she didn't really want a big meal, she just wanted something that would get her throught the evening.

Did that just happen?Darian gave a slight bob of her head when he said to tell him if she realized she had forgotten anything, however when continued on with the stabby she just rolled her eyes "Point made. for your sake i hope i haven't forgotten anything" she sighed softly smirking slightly when he moved on with another of his captains speeches. However at the notion of sticking her feet out the window "You underestimate my powers" she chirped pleasantly as she buckled up and in one fluid movement positioned her feet out the window. He really was a fast driver, though she couldn't find herself to be too upset with the mater seeing as she was rather pleased to get away from that city, the city where he was. Her attention was pulled forward at the intimidating sight of the thirteen foot wall, and the mansion behind it made her jaw drop. "Dayum" she said, her lips twitching to a frown when she realized how it sounded. However when he slid the car to stop she jolted a little, taking a moment to put her feet back on the ground before getting out of the car. Looking around rather awe struck her eyes jumped all over the building before her attention befell a woman sitting out in a chair "That your friend?" she asked, knowing very well it was a stupid question the moment she asked it. I'm writing...Everette arched a brow slightly as Ephigi gave the girl the ketchup, only to then focus his attention down to the empty cup of coffee before him "Something wrong?" that was a stupid question, it was obvious something was up, but what could have gotten that kind of reaction? His attention was silently pulled up when he noticed the waitress come by with their food, asking if either one of them needed their coffee topped off, to which he easily nodded, though he was hesitant to so much as speak, his attention marginally pulled over his shoulder, but not too much when the waitress called to another person that she would be there in a moment

Ephigi go boom When the waitress dropped their food off he gave a happy smile however when asked if he would like more coffee he could only nod. "Yes please, and some more half and half as well please." he stated lightly as he gave a sigh as he looked down to his own meal. "Recognize someone?" he asked a brow raising as he plucked up a fry taking a bite of the salty and fried piece of potato, or what ever substitute they found as he blinked lightly watching the other. A LUNATIC dreams that one day he may rest with out having to worry about sleeping with ONE eye open.

Alexianne gritted her teeth in slight agitation when she heard Alistair barreling down the road at what sounded like full speed. She sighed and reached into her pocket, pulling out a tiny device and pressing one of the many buttons on the rectangular metal box. As soon as her friend came through the gate it promptly swung closed, locking automatically with a heavy clang. Then Alexianne pressed another button and, if one were to stand close enough, an audible hum of electricity flew through the gate. It was enough voltage to incapacitate anyone who touched it, though not enough to kill anyone. Next she turned a small knob, not at all phased by the squeal of tired as Alistair came to a stop, and under the thick cover of vines along the wall, tiny metal spikes shot out, each one no less than an inch a part. In a matter of moments, Alexianne's home had become an almost impenetrable fortress. The wall though, could be climbed, if the person doing so was very careful. Alexianne had everything set up this way on purpose. After all, one easy way to catch a criminal was to invite them into your house.
And finally, after eyeing the ground where dark skid marks had been left, Alexianne stood and made her way over to Alistair's car and put her hand on the door, opening it and sighing once, saying in that same agitated tone, "Etes-vous fou? Why would you speed here like that? If anything, you drew more attention to yourself." She sighed again and looked into the passenger seat, raising her eyebrow at the woman there, then took a step back, waiting for Alistair and the woman to exit the vehicle before she motioned towards the house, "Come then, let's get inside." Her tone was smooth and businesslike, very much unlike the tone of a proper hostess. She wanted to know just what was going on, and over the years she had found that the easiest way to get information out of Alistair was to be short, sweet and very much to the point. And so Alexianne started towards the door, not bothering to look back to see if her friend and his friend were following.

Looking up from his own cup he blinked slightly at the question looking around again to confirm his thoughts, his gaze lingering over Roxy for a moment before giving a soft nod "An acquaintance... Roxy if i remember correctly... the girl who took the pictures" he answered sipping at the coffee, figuring it would just be odd to wave her over or just call a hello across the small store, such things just made him feel awkward, besides he had only met the girl a handful of times when she was dropping pictures off, he doubted they'd even had a proper conversation that wasn't work related. His attention was promptly turned to the fish and chips before him as he was quick to attack some fish with his fork.

Ephigi go boomEphigi nodding his head as he began to place away the sketchbook his eyes half lidded as he watched the other though his own fingers worked on the fries as he hummed lightly before opening the burger in order to place fries added as he watched the other. "Lunch lest us not forget this time of day the meal that is often forgotten." he stated lightly as he dug into his burger though he made sure to keep himself neat as he did. He looked back at Darian who seemed to still be in aw "you comin, if you like the outside you'll love the inside too, plus I'm hungry, I didn't get to eat cause of all this." he looked once more to his friend "oh, and I still want to know what that thud was before, did you get to absorbed into another of your little toys and then fall down the steps again. or maybe your tools realized the hell they would live, you never putting them down and all, so they finally rose up and attacked..."ll Out. Did that just happen?Darian was momentarily snapped out of her awe when the loud resounding clang of the large gates closing behind them made her jump a little only to fall back into that vaguely awe struck state, admittedly paying little attention to the other two as she looked over the mansion, She could see what Ali meant, it would be a true feat to see ever room in this place. Finally pulling her attention back to Ali when he said that if she liked the outside she would love the inside "I'm sure it was all an architectural feat" she said before finally moving to follow them, a sheepish, guilty expression crossing her face when he said that he didn't get to eat because of all of this "In my defense you kinda made yourself part of this, thus voluntarily giving up your food."Kinda she said needing to walk a little faster than she would have liked to to catch up with them Just give me a minutewell...shithshitshitshit I'm alive But I don't need a witnessthe mat keeps tripping
