 Kame Niji
She had nodded her head when he spoke about her getting rest. She knew she needed to, she had to heal. She did not like how slowly she healed at the moment, but she didn't want to change into her more powerful form, mainly because she knew that many people close to her might be a little freaked out. Then again maybe not, but she wanted to remain as she was and save her true form for later. Then the became so delighted with her question, his mirth infectious and Kame could not stop smiling. His favorite game was one that Kame had learned only recently and she had heard that it came from the human world, a place she had never been to before. he then spoke about marbles and told her of how once his marbles had caused a friend to slip and she giggled a bit. She wished she could have been there to see it, wished she could have met Jin before now. It would have been nice to have at least one friend while growing up.
Suddenly he spoke about showing her his marbles and he jumped up, flying to the door. He promised food after he got his marbles and she nodded her head. "I will be right here!" She called after him, leaning against her pillows where he had been. her bed smelled like him now and even though she wanted to bury her face in the pillow and inhale his scent, some of her other teammates where still in the room and she did not want them to look at her any more weird then they did already. Yes she had feelings for the captain of an opposing team, but she did not care. She came here to make a connection, and even though it was not the one she had thought, it was much better then what she had wanted.

 Daniel slinked into the room silently, seeing Kame laying in her bed alone, offering a wave for a greeting before flopping down on his own bed. He winced and grunted painfully when his freshly re-burned arm impacted the mattress, rolling over onto his otherside and fcing Kame. He grinned slightly "Hey...what's up."

Kame lifted her head when Daniel walked back into the room and she scrunched her nose. "You smell like poorly cooked ham." She said to him, moving a bit so that she was sitting up. "Because you are alive I am guessing that you won, and that means the the first rounds of the team fights will begin soon." she said as she sighed, having wanted to spent more healing before she had to fight again. If she fought like this, she would lost her first match.

"The chef wasn't the best cook in Makai..." He removed the bandage on his arm, grimacing at the wounded flesh before laying back down. "And technically, those were just the war....practice rounds." He stopped himself from saying warm-up, the thought of anything relative to heat bothered him at the moment.

"You should retreat that and wrap it again." She said to him, lifting her wrapped arm and lightly pressing it against her nose. Though his wound was still not as bad as she had seen, the small alone was enough to make her feel sick.

Kame leaned back against her bed, putting her good arm behind her head. She sighed a bit and closed her eyes, moving around causing Jin's scent to fill the air around her and her lips turned up ever so slightly in a smile. She began to wonder where he was, what was taking him so long. He must be having a hard time finding his marbles if it was taking this long.

The male nodded, unwrapping and removing the blackened bandages from his arm, the open air hitting it made him wince slightly. "Times like this I wish I was a demon." He noticed her covering her nose and sighed, "Sorry..I know how it is to hate a smell." He grabbed the things he would need and stood up, "I'll treat it outside and be back in a few minutes."

She nodded her head to him, not about to protest. it really did smell bad and she did not want to have to smell it. In all her life, that was just the one smell that she could stand, and that was burning flesh. It always made her feel sick.

Daniel nodded, stepping out and into the hall, quickly re-wrapping his wound, grunting slightly as he pulled the bandage tightly. "I should pay that healer guy a visit..." He stepped into the room, covering his wrapped arm with his sleeve before sitting back on his bed and looking to Kame, "We haven't had much communication...since we're both bed-ridden for the moment, feel up to chatting?"

He went out into the hall to care for his wound and Kame took this short amount of time to think of Jin. She wondered what he must be doing right now, wondering if he had forgotten her, or if he was still trying to find his marbles. The thoughts that went through her mind worried her a bit, an unsettling feeling gripping her chest. Daniel walked back in though and she pushed these thoughts away, her pale blue eyes following him as he walked over to his bed and lay down. She nodded her head to his question. "We are teammates. it would be best to get to know one another."

Daniel gave her a small grin, "Excellent. Glad you agree... it would've been dull sitting here in silence." He swung his legs over the edge of the bed, sitting up to face her, arms resting on his knees. "So, if I may ask, what brought you here?"

Kame shifted so that she was sitting up a bit more, but still leaning back against her head board. "I came here looking for anyone from my clan. I was taken as a baby and since this is the largest even in all three worlds, i was hoping that at least one person from my clan would be here and I could go home." she explained, putting her good arm behind her head and looking to the team leaders bed. "I wonder where she has gone. I have not seen her since before my match.."

The male followed his teammate's gaze to the team leader's bed. It was made, but whatever she may have brought with her was gone. A tinge of worry boiled in Daniel's stomach, 'She didn't...' He turned to Kame, trying not to think of the possibility that the fox had left them both leaderless and down a member. "I haven't seen her either... This can't be good."

"Well this could possibly be a problem." She said as she turned on her bed, standing off her bed, wincing a bit as she put weight on her injured leg. She walked over to the bed and sniffed it, then sighed. "Her scent is very feint.. She has not been back here in a while." She growled, her ears flicking back and her tail lashing to the side in her sudden irritation. "She quit without telling anyone. If that b***h with the green hair finds out that our captain quit we are in for it.."

Daniel looked at the empty bed, a frustrated scowl coming to his features, "s**t..." With a sigh he thought about what they were going to do, the idea came to him quickly. "We have a leader...we just have to decide which of us is it." He stared directly at her, awaiting her response. He wanted to put himself up for the position of leader, she was strong he'd give her that, but she had feelings for an enemy captain. "I...think I should do it..."
