Meiko sat up quickly as she heard the mock in Renji's tone. She laughed as she stuck her tongue out at Renji like a little kid. The kodama spirit appeared once more but now only a few inches away from her feet. "That's what I saw!," she said almost too excited.

Renji stared at Meiko then at what she was looking at. As he saw nothing,he stared at her with a raised eyebrow. "I don't see anything." He simply said,still in a mocking tone.

" Right there," she persisted as the kodama spirit tilted its head to the side. She looked to Renji then to kodama spirit in frustration. Her nose crinkled up as she looked back to Renji. "Are you trying to make me look crazy?," she added with a laugh.

Renji looked at Meiko,unconvinced. "I don't have to make you look crazy,you're doing that yourself." He said with a laugh,but his face was still serious.

"Humans should be able to see them," she responded as her shoulders drooped. Her eyes flickered from the kodama spirit then to her lap. She bit her lip as she looked to Renji hoping he would see the spirit that was so close to them.

Sakura walked to the Konomi Shrine and sat under the tree and heal her wound.

Renji looked around,blankly. "Yeah,I don't see anything." He pointed out. He then got tired of playing games with Meiko and laid down on his back,taking a deep breath and staring into the bright blue sky.

"I must be crazy," she mumbled to herself as spirit tilted its head once more than vanished. She threw herself onto the ground and closed her eyes. She then pulled her katana from her back and traced the outlines on her intricate handle. Her stomach grumbled as she looked to the sword. Rubbing her stomach she thought to herself, ' Geez why am I always hungry here?'.

Renji laughed at the sound of Meiko's stomach grumble. "If you're done with all the craziness,let's go something to eat. You are hungry right?" He teased her.

"Ooh sounds nice," Meiko replied enthusiastically. She stood up immediately and stretched her arms. She looked to the Renji from the side of her red eye seeing if he would follow. "I'm pretty sure you're the crazy one over here, Mister I try to slice people's shoulder off."
Meiko turned to Renji and smiled to show she was joking. She then glanced to the sky and sighed happily. 'Today is lovely,' she thought to herself as she looked back to Renji.

Renji grinned. "And slicing peoples shoulders is not normal? I'm completely sane," He declared,jokily. "Now,Miss.Scaredy Cat,where would you like to eat at?" He asked,getting up and stretching out his arms.

"Well I don't think I want to go to where I work so how about the restaurant? I heard its actually very good," Meiko replied with a thumbs up. She then poked Renji in teasing way to his statement about her being a scaredy cat. "And I am not a scaredy cat. I'm just startled easily at time," she said with a laugh and a wink.

Renji laughed. "Let me guess...you work at the Maid Cafe,am I right?" He smiled, "How about we go there?" He said,mocking her by holding up a thumbs up.
