Hotaru heard the first of the inner princesses called and looked up to watch. She already knew, from their breif encounter, Makoto and Serenity. The other princesses she didn't.

Minako smiles at the other girls before walking beside Princess Jupiter. She then winks at the emerald jeweled princess,"Right beside you Mako-chan!"

Princess Serenity nods to Jupiter and Venus, "It will be over soon." Lightly touching Ami's shoulder she reassures her with a smile. "If anyone is going to blunder, leave it to me to do so."

Rei laughs quietly to herself resting her hand on her hip, "You certainly have got that right. I'm sure you will both do well. Just remember to breathe. Ready Ami-chan?"

Endymion watched the princesses walk in as they were announced, but none were Serenity. Of course, she'd be last, but how many princesses could there be? He was getting impatient, and nearly made a comment to Nephrite but stopped himself. "Do my eyes decieve me? Has the great Nephrite actually fallen for a girl?"

Nephrite shook his head and glared at Endymion. It was true, he'd been mesmerized by Princess Makoto, that lovely vision clothed in his favorite color. "Shut up, Endy. You're just jealous because Princess Serenity hasn't arrived yet."

Meanwhile, Malachite had likewise taken notice of Princess Minako. He wondered if he could go talk to her yet, or if he should wait until all the princesses arrived and the ball officially began.

A few minutes after Venus and Makoto disappeared through the ballroom doors the announcer was already calling for the next set of princesses, leaving no time for Ami to give an answer. "Please welcome the Princess of Mars and the Princess of Mercury!"

Rei stands up straighter than usual causing her hair to fall into place at her back. "Well here we go. No time to be nervous now Ami. She smiles over at her blue haired friend. Quickly stepping up to the door Mars looks behind her at Serenity."I'm sure he'll notice how beautiful you look. See you in a few"

Princess Serenity blushes again at the mention of Prince Endymion. She really hoped that her best friend was right. Taking a deep breath she straightens her gown checking to make sure there weren't any wrinkles. Once she was satisfied she closes her eyes awaiting her introduction.

Hotaru saw Makoto come in and made her way over. She went over and noticed the other girls and became shy.

"Hello again Princess Makoto....it's a pleasure to see you again. I...haven't met the other princesses..."

She said nervously, looking at the others, quiet and shy.

Celeste was just as nervous as Hotaru, but she tried not to show it as much. Watching as all the princesses entered she thought she better memorize their names. Of course since they all seemed to be wearing different colors it shouldn't be too hard to keep them all straight. She of course felt in awe of all of them, they looked so beautiful in their ballgowns.

Once the other girls stood next to her and Hotaru introducing themselves she decides to pipe up and give her name as well. "It's a pleasure making your aquaintances. I'm Celeste, Princess of Maia. My mother has told me many wonderful things about all of you and the Moon Kingdom." Smiling nervously her golden eyes scanning back and forth between each of the girls.

Ami smiled warmly at them both, at once relaxing and getting into the spirit of the ball..at least for the moment. It a pleasure meeting both of you...so what do you think of this so far?
