Nexus stumbled from the sudden impact of the roar, though not by much it was enough to tell him he was on the defensive. Gritting his teeth he brought his hands to meet and gathered the steam vapor in the air around them into a coating of protective ice armor on his body. He did his best to bob and weave with Nihil's blows, but found himself losing ground. During one particularly effective combination Nihil landed several blows. Nexus' forearm and right abdomen started bleeding slightly at the wounds.

Nexus' nose perked at the smell of his own blood. Suddenly, his footing steadied and Nexus retreated a few yards.

For the first time he spoke to Nihil, touching his side. "You drew blood."
Rage filled Nexus' eyes, and his form changed. He grew taller by a full three feet as he allowed his passion to change his form. Fur grew, and his mane of hair blended colors into a cloudy gray. His eye's became bright blue, and his muscled gained mass. His small stature was forgotten as he stood opposite Nihil, his entire form deadlier than before.

Nexus waited then, hoping for a move that might challenge him.

"That's the point, to draw blood. One knik and it's inside of you, corrupting and degrading you...never the less, you look the type who would fight it." Nihil's eyes analyzed his opponent's new form carefully, picking out possible weak spots. Not to mention the flesh around the cuts was already looking slightly necrotic and corrupted. Those would serve as weak spots in the even he found none.

Satisfied, Nihil allowed his aura of Darkness to flare up around him as he extended one of the wristblades and drew in the other, smirking a bit before he roared again. This time there were words masked by the shout, their field of battle becoming shrouded in a fog that smelled heavily of incense. Even if it would block Nihil's sense of smell and sight as well, it would do wonder's on Nexus'. "Now we play the Assassin's favorite game, Cat and Mouse..."

Nexus was not surprised by the nature of his darkness. Nihil having explained it, Nexus now understood that getting hit would mean certain death if left untended for too long. Strangely though, the synthetic blood Nexus had mixed with his own earlier seemed to be having a reaction to the wounds the darkness had seeped in through. It was almost as if Nexus had bolstered his body's ability to fight the decay of flesh. The artificial cells had already begun congealing and hardening around the wounds. Strange, Nexus thought to himself, I hadn't expected the cells to be so efficient.

Fog, thick with incense began to mask his senses. Nexus allowed himself a moment to think and then lowered his head near the ground, prowling in a position that would allow him to better avoid the fog that he guessed would settle just above the coldest layer of air. Suddenly the thought occurred to Nexus and he focused his energy, chilling the air around him. This would cause the fog to condense into a thicker particulate and prevent it from effecting his senses as much. He waited now, alert for the incoming attack. He wanted to catch his opponent off guard with his discovery.

He felt the trident fall towards the ground and saw the immense energy build up. He immediately let go of the trident which then soon disintegrated into droplets of water once released then dodged rolled out to his right. He formed a quick barrier but the energy blast shredded it. Lucilius flew back into some trees but quickly regained himself using the trees as some means of shelter. Like an acrobat he maneuvered himself around the branches. A few simple scratches and burns but nothing too serious.

With a strong attack such as that he began to wonder how Visirus's body managed the stress of it. He was interested. Even he had to admit that it was impressive. Lucilius took a quick glance at his palm noting scratch. His crimson red blood slowly streaming out. He growled slightly embracing his passion and flying out of the trees his razor sharp teeth aimed for Visirus's shoulder and claws ready to dig into chest and stomach.

Sasha turned to Kitya and beamed. "Why thank you Lady Kitya, and you are progressing nicely as well. Come have some lamb, tell me what do you think of these skirmishes?"Offers lamb hind quarter to Kitya.

Sasha nudged Kitya playfully"So you have eyes for Lord Nexus, he is a fine choice. You should talk with the Queen about perfecting your line that you may be a pure blood. Only lycans can court lycans here, the Guardians decreed that, it has been code for centuries. If anything it will make you available for selection. Mating season is in full swing again at Yule what better time that to try huh?"

"Dont limit yourself Kitya there are many eligible lycans here, and you will have to face a challenge, fight to the extreme, for he will be fighting for his life, and you will be testing him for weakness, lest you take his life for having any. I will work with you and Lady Prufalas will train you I am sure. Remember you want a mate that can defend your pack , your pups and you at your side. This is partly why we skirmish with one another." Sasha sighed dreamily.

Sasha looked at her cheeks pink with hope and dreams, and put her arm around her shoulders and kissed her cheeks and giggled at the males display. They sat like young pups watching something new, and enjoyed their kill. Times ahead were uncertain, but now-now everything was alright. She nudged Kitya again as the princes walked by and smiled at them bowing. Aritoch pushed Zion out of the way to get a better view of Kitya, almost knocking him into the fight next to them. Zion noticed the females, and his eyes glimmered and he tackled his brother in a pure display of testosterone. Sasha blushed and giggled with Kitya and gave the boys her full attention,knowing it was Kitya they were vyying for.
