Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... George shrugged. That was.... odd. However, it was not his business to pry into what happened. He knew that if he needed to know, he would hear about it. There was nothing more for him to decide. With that out of the way, George walked slowly, going to class. (to 2-B) And they are the heroes I look up to at this time, wondering when will my chance come? To do the amazing things they did.

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... {from Library Island} George plopped down, reading his texts. They soon inhabited his desk, bed, and the floor around it. His pen scratched the notes down into his journal. This was fascinating! Who knew that half of this stuff existed? Let alone that there were millions of books dedicated to creating the perfect theory. George slashed notes across the page, the books soon everywhere. Sighing, he suddenly stopped. Dead end. His theory just hit a huge wall. Now, he decided that there was a mistake on what he thought of as truth, but there had to be a flaw. Cursing, he backtracked, preparing to forge forward at the last time he was iffy on something, then he would continue down another path. A quite... different path. And they are the heroes I look up to at this time, wondering when will my chance come? To do the amazing things they did.

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... George woke up with a start. Rubbing his eyes he looked around. So tired....... Seems like he slept alone again last night. No one else there. Texts lay everywhere, and he scratched his stomach. He smiled as he picked up coffee can after coffee can. He had a rough night. But his work was almost complete. The main road block came from the fact Ki and Magic normally canceled each other out when used together. In fact; most users could only channel one or the other at one time. However, one could use magic to enhance their Ki, and the reverse. So how does that work? He had struggled hard to find the answer, and came short each time.
Despite that fact, his theory had no other flaws in it. This was the major break through he had been looking for. Something to gain respect. ******** the fact he was fifteen years old. Screw that he couldn't remember the wars. Screw everything that disadvantaged him. He would break through. No one else could stop him. This would be the path to power. Unlimited power. George was willing to fight for it, and he could finally feel it in his grasp. And it felt........ terrible. It felt too good, and in so he rejected it. Sighing, he took out his notes. Either way, the world needed to know about this. The fifth energy.
First, there was nothing. Then came energy. The first energy was base energy, the most basic and powerful forms of energy. Next came temporal energy. This energy is responsible for moving everything forward. It could be considered the legs of the universe. It affected everything. From temporal energy there came atom. Not atoms, atom. Singular. That single atom split. And split. And split. Suddenly trillions of atoms existed. Life took root after that. However, a third energy to come in existence is known as dark energy. This is what inhabits space. This created gaps in everything. Not much is known about this energy. It, for the foreseeable future, cut off from knowledge. A fourth energy came to be. Energy. Pure energy. This is more commonly known as Magic and Ki. However, it has a funny trait. Two sources trying to use this energy creates a field that cancels itself out. Much like magnetic fields. Yet this pure energy is volatile. Easily harnessed, but hard to control, it is limited to those with the will and/or the abilities to control it. This is the cause of most freak accidents. Most people draw energy from those four energy. Druids and Healers from Temporal, speeding up time, or slowing it down. Preventing, or increasing, the natural order of things. Mages from Energy, as explained latter, and Seers use Dark energy, yet how this works is unknown. Yet something had to keep Energy in balance, being as volatile as it was. For a long time it was believed that the energy to do so was the base energy. Yet, that is impossible. Since everything is linked into base energy, it cannot balance anything. This train of thought led to the search for this unknown factor. Two branches came from this. A deeper search into Dark energy. And the search for a fifth energy. And finally this energy could be proven to have existed. However, to understand that, one must have a deeper understanding into Energy.
Energy is split into two ways of manifesting itself, Magic and Ki. Ki is straight forward, can be increased, and inhabits everyone. Magic is limited to the potential of the user. Someone with high potential can use a lot of magic, if this potential is low, then the magic usage is also low. This cannot be increased, just the amount of magic one can use from this reserve is what is affected by training. Everyone has magic potential, (most cases just a drop) and most never discover that spark. There are exceptions to this rule, but they are rare and mostly compensate with naturally high Ki levels. One's who lack either are considered freaks, and mostly considered outcasts in the magic society. This is hard to tell, and is not normally discovered for years. They are forced out of all sense of community, or in more modern techniques, forced into service.
However that is irrelevant for now. For now, all that is needed to be known is this, Magic is split into two types. 'Light Magic' and 'Dark Magic'. Light Magic is stable, and draws power from the elements. Dark Magic is unstable like Energy itself, and draws power from strong emotions, negative and positive. There is more, but that is mostly boring and well documented already. The proof of such a fifth energy is this...
George put down his pen. He would continue later, he was exhausted, and he hadn't eaten. But he needed sleep. Today, well today he would skip. Just pretend to be sick if someone asked him. Later he would explain his theory to Axel-San, and perhaps Setsuna-San. He worried about the Ki aspect of it, but it looked like Setsuna knew about such things, and maybe she could provide an answer. His eyes slowly closed as he fell back into blissful sleep. And they are the heroes I look up to at this time, wondering when will my chance come? To do the amazing things they did.

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... George sighed. No more work could get done until he had more resources, more time, more research. And there was one place to go to if that was what you wanted. Library Island. The lower levels. Throwing on his jacket, he wondered if he should give Axel a check in, to see if he wanted to come. But in the end he decided against it. This was his project. And he could survive. He meant, what was the worst that could happen? (To Library Island, Main Floor)

Setsuna enters her room, quickly settings her things aside and picking out the bed that seems not to be in use. She undresses and gets into PJs and all that... it'd been something of a long day, and she was eager to get to sleep. Though... it was strange. Where are her roommates? The young samurai looks around for any notes or something of the like that might indicate they'd be late. George isn't here, though his research seems to be out... Ian's gone, too. Who may well be with Gilly, but George... No indication of when he'd be returning, either. Perhaps he'd gone to the Library... Or the-... ... ... Island. Goddammit.

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... (From Library Island) George walked into the dorm, not thinking anyone was back yet. He held his chest, blood still trickling from his wound. He had tripped many times on his journey, but still he had made it back home. There was a needle and some thread in his bag. That should help stop the bleeding until he could get some proper medical attention to his wound. First he would need to sterilize the needle, meaning he would have to boil some water. Throwing his bag down, he looked up at Setsuna. "Hello Sakurazaki-San." He mumbled, stumbling into the kitchen, throwing off his shirt. "Excuse me, but dinner will be late today." He started to fumble around the kitchen, looking for a pan to fill. Once filling the pan with water, he set it to boil. He ignored everything else that happened around him, including his trembling fingers. He had gained a little more control over his body, which was a sign that his spirit was reintegrating to his body, but not enough. He would die of shock and blood loss before it fully managed to integrate. Not to mention his body was still decomposing, believing itself dead to the world. This was going to be a tough night, George mused watching the water boil.

Setsuna noticed right away. "George-san!" She rises to her feet promptly, from sitting on the edge of the bed, and rushes into the kitchen after him. Something was -obviously- wrong. "G-George-san, sit down! Don't push yourself, I'll take care of it. What do I need to do? Pushing yourself will only make the wound worse." She'd ask him what happened later, but first, she needs to get him to lay down. "C'mon, let's get you onto your bed, George-san..."

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... George shook his head. "Need to sterilize needle before patching up my wound. First disinfect......" He stumbled over to the water, almost finished boiling. "Bottle of alcohol, in bathroom. Need to clean wound, make sure it isn't infected." He told Setsuna, not caring much for lying down. He had never done anything this insane before, but he had stitched together a friend once, under doctor supervision of course. This shouldn't be much different. Of course he had no numbing substances, so he did take a (dull) knife and bit down on it, to prevent him from screaming. Oh, great, now he's going to be stubborn. "Sterilize the wound with alcohol and then stitch the wound up..." Mnn... not a job she was prepared to do, but it was definitely not something that George looked like he up to performing. "Got it." With that, she chops at whatever knock-out spot is located on the back of the head or neck and catches him before depositing him into his bed. Should last just long enough for her to take care of this... though, she'll get someone more qualified to take care of the stitching. With that, she goes into the bathroom to find the alcohol and a rag to dab the wound with, returning and proceeding to sterilize.

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... {I think that spot is right under the head, at the connection of head and neck vertebrae. But I'm not one hundred percent sure. Just saying.} George had collapsed at the hit, falling to into Setsuna's arm. This is enough to jar his loose spirit out of his currently knocked out body. The mind had returned working, but it was barely so. He had to get back in before the wound was sealed. He didn't know the consequences of said action, so he dived back in. The mind was less difficult this time around, permitting access. From there he was in a middle state of conscious. He could see and feel what was happening to him, but he couldn't move or talk. It was as if he was watching a movie occur around him. Where he was the main character, but he didn't know where or what he was. He continued to slip in and out of consciousness, seeing pictures instead of fluent movements and actions. He wanted to argue he was fine, but he couldn't. And to be honest, it was quite clear he wasn't fine. And they are the heroes I look up to at this time, wondering when will my chance come? To do the amazing things they did.

Setsuna, first, straps the guy to the bed. The idiot. He'd probably still be trying to do this himself... So she sterilizes the wound and wraps it for now, before deciding on who she'd try and get to take care of George's wound. "Mnn... now who do I get to take care of your wound...?" She rubs her chin, wondering about it. She moves into the kitchen and looks at the needle in the boiling water. "I don't think I'm ready to do this myself... Maybe... Master Hiryuu-sama would know someone...?"

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... George, always one for experimenting things, did not appreciate this new experience. Too uncomfortable. Anyway, he could do it himself! He had done this before. Sure, it seemed idiotic, but right now he was probably going to be losing a lot more blood if someone didn't do something, and do it fast. Those words he would have said, that was if he was in a position to speak. Still, he was still very disgruntled, and would make sure to complain later about said treatment. Setsuna checks to make sure the dressing she's applied to the wounds is holding. It seems to be doing alright, but... no, he's still bleeding a bit. She changes the dressing and applies Ki to halt the bleeding temporarily. She doesn't know any Ki techniques for something like this, but she's aware that Ki can be used to hold wounds together... she witnessed as much from Regan that morning. "Just wait here, George-san. I'll get someone who knows what they're doing..."
[Setsuna runs off to Dorm 3.]

Tis was their finest hour, as the world plunged into it's darkest.... George mentally complained a bit. He knew what he was doing. In theory this would do well. However still being out, due to Setsuna's knockout blow, he couldn't voice said complaints. Very frustrating, he would let one know once he could voice said complaints later. And they are the heroes I look up to at this time, wondering when will my chance come? To do the amazing things they did.

Cirus and Setsuna enter, Cirus setting about inspecting the wound after grabbing the needle from the boiling water. "Mmm... I see." He threads the needle swiftly and hits the guy with a minor paralysis spell. It should numb up the area effectively. Little bit of status-afflicting electric magic. By intercepting all signals, it should be quite numb. With that done, he proceeds with suturing the wound shut. "That should do it. Keep it dressed, don't let him disturb it, yatta yatta. Watch him. I have something I need to investigate..."
[Cirus leaves.]
Setsuna watches him go. He'd hardly shown up. He just took care of it and left... huh." She watches the door after he leaves for a second or two before going back to George, dressing his wound.
