I don't mean to keep making all these black/grey/white outfits, but it keeps happening. Meh.
Name: Nila Surrey
Occupation: OmniDrink Public Relations
Age: 26
Height: 1.6m
Once a carefree uni graduate with a brand new degree in computer engineering, Nila was badly injured by a rampant robot during the first rebellion. In the end, she lost both arms and she was partially paralysed. Her arms were replaced with high-end prosthetics and her spine repaired, but the damage was done.
Cold and sadistic, Nila openly despises the mechanical children with a passion matched only by her loyalty to OmniDrink. They sicken her. Her chilly demeanour slips when confronted with a mechanical child she can't escape – and then she flies into a violent rage. Deemed too unstable to work in re-educating mechanical children despite her skill in engineering after she beat one to death and deliberately damaged another beyond repair in a twisted attempt at "revenge" for her injuries, she was relegated to the PR department.
She hates it there, especially since it means she has to mind what she says in public about mechanical children. And because she inevitably crosses paths with that freak toy the Guard keeps around. Oh, she can tell Brigham isn't what he says he is; she can spot his kind anywhere.

Heh, good point. And no, Nila will definitely not enjoy visiting the prison.

Ross is a long-time veteran; he's tough and brusque and he never goes easy on the new guys, but he does it because he wants to see them make it. He does it to prepare them for the job ahead. He does it because he knows how bad it can get.
There's no love lost between him, robots, and androids; it isn't that he hates them. He doesn't. Ross just can't see them as anything more than machines, on the same level as the copier or his coffee maker. It's the same view he takes of his prosthetics – they aren't his legs. They're just machine replacements. He doesn't talk about his prosthetics and he doesn't talk about how he got them – they're sort of a taboo subject with him – but it's become something of an initiation in his precinct to send newbies to him with a can of WD-40 for his knees.
His view of androids and robots has no bearing on his work. He's admitted as much before: "You say you're a person like me? Well, I don't agree with it, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

It makes him twitch. But SWAT isn't his bag; it's Jethro's, and Ross tends to stick by the book. He deals with his Guard and Jethro deals with SWAT. He privately wonders why said mole hasn't run into a "friendly" fire incident by this point.
He usually tells his boys (even the female officers are his boys) to just steer clear of SWAT in general and let him deal with it if they show up. Especially Jabber.

I was told a million times of all the people in my way I kept default male businessman #1 and default female businessman #1 for the sake of story. I think it's too early to do designs for em, but the idea that they havent been seen is an attraction to their characters. how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day
