looks nice despite the fact that it looks like a black guy's drug running car. In which case, you should try saving it. lower a luxury car is like having Victorian house painted pink and in graffiti. It's a nice car, the rims are a bit much. it's okay if you wanted to lower it but this car isn't gonna be any faster or cooler with a body kit. Save your money for when you need to do work on it, like new tires down the road or oil changes or if the motor and components need to be replaced at all.

So, I say, Nice car. Don't go over board, your car is better then that. V8 power I assume so, yes it is kinda a performer but it's not a sports car. Keep it simple and keep the car still worth something.

I'm lookin' forward to seeing your car with the JP kit. were you going with the destinys or the regular 6+pc with door fillers?

I was originally going to do the destinys 8pc. But, after thinking about it, and all the things I want to do, I am probably going to go with the regular 6pc and pick up the extra destiny parts later on.

Hopefully I can say this without coming off like an a*****e....but here it goes.

You are obviously not very familiar with the japanese VIP style. VIP isn't about being a 9sec track car. It is about being "low n slow" with style and elegance. In retrospect, a black guys drug car would be a donk, or "scraper" with 22inch wheels raised 3 inches with obnoxious candy paint. This car is an atonement to the Yakuza style. The wheels are discontinued 19inch lowenhart LDRs(which btw are made in japan if you didn't know, unlike black people wheels like asanti), and are roughly $9500 dollars new. And, as a matter of fact, the car will be "cooler" with a JP body kit because that is the style. take a look at my website www.bippugarage.com and look at the car on the main page (after clicking enter on the welcome page). That car is sporting a JP body kit. A simple and clean kit is essential to the bippu/VIP style as it achieves a lower and more aggressive stance while still retaining the OEM body lines and adding a bit of flair.

Saving money is not in my vocabulary. If I wanted to save money and store it away for a rainy day, I wouldn't be into the VIP style. It's an expensive sub-culture of tuning and isn't for the budget enthusiast. And, the car is classified as a sports luxury sedan. But, I never once said it was a sports car in any means. So I have no idea where you got that from.

Yay for improved posting etiquette! *Props.*

And yes, Sasuke, the B. Poo scene isn't a "Driver" oriented scene. Like xclsior said, it's about "low and slow." It's the current Japanese Car fan fad. You remember IDRC/IHRA (Drag racing with tiny engined Japanese cars... only to get smoked by bigger engined USDM cars) and Drifting (kicking their tail ends out with Japanese cars... only to be surpassed and beaten at their own game by USDM cars), right? Those fads passed, so this is what the Modified/Import-Tuner/SuperStreet sponsored scene is into for now. As Sixspeed said in a discussion before, "This fad will pass eventually too. The only thing that won't pass is going fast (whether it be drag racing, autocross, road course, etc.), because it's not a fad." OK, that's all out of the way, so for you "Fast Driver" people out there, no more posts about "scene vs scene." This thread is about xclsior's car.

So, about xclsior's car, it is better than a lot of "black drug dealer" cars, but I can see where someone who isn't into the VIP scene can confuse it. While a "show" scene, it's kinda like a "sleeper" version of the loud and obnoxious "DUB/Low-Ridah" scenes. This lexus has clear lights, glossy paint, and wheels that match the car very well (mainly black to match the black car, and the shiny rim/lip matches the shiny bright trim pieces around the car). It' obvious that it's not a ghetto superstar car. As much as it pains me to say, currently, I'd rather have x's car over Sasuke's... but only because I already have an LS powered vehicle and am a real stickler for good body/paint.

Sheesh you really do NOT like japanese cars do you?

But, on a lighter note, Thanks for the (what I assume is) props on my car.

@ X C L S I O R:

Great choice. Destinys imo makes the car look strange since it's basically an exaggerated fender-pull. Most of the guys I saw in japan rocking the JP kit had Artisan Spirits over fender kits that more or less recreated the stock lines rather than just blurring them out.

I have edited out the "scene/style" posts made after the "cease and desist" post, and moved them to this thread if further discussion is desired on that topic. As I've done for VK's car thread, I shall do for xclsior's. Keep it about the car.

(Yes, it was a compliment.)
