Update on Triple H's Surgery: Will He Miss SummerSlam?

The surgery that WWE star Triple H recently underwent was for a torn tendon in his arm, and the injury was not related to anything that happened in the ring. The report also notes that the recovery time for this type of injury is a few months, which might make a Triple H return at SummerSlam impossible.

TNA Knockout Gets a Big Raise

I reported awhile back that Velvet Sky recently signed a new, long term contract with TNA. Along with the deal, which is reportedly for 3 years, Sky also received a pay raise, bumping her salary from $300 per show to $600 per show. She is now among the company's top female earners.

This is gonna sound cold and will probably get me flamed but I don't miss HHH. I think he could happily retire now and just be with his family while he still has the physical ability too. What else is there for him to do besides go right back into the title hunt? I think he should go home and enjoy the legacy he created. Without his shadow being cast over the roster other people have had the chance to show what they can do. Many of the stars from The Attitude Era need to help push the newer guys. I wouldn't mind seeing them get put on NXT as long as the show doesn't become about them.

I think HHH would have to come back, at least for one more run. If he just retired right now, it'd kinda be an insult to his career (just fading away into nothing like that). It would be nice to see him do what Jericho is doing...pushing younger talent (only doing it for the heels, while Y2J pushes the babyfaces)...or even be a Pro for NXT like you said. After he's helped fill the hole he'd leave, then give him a big send off.

As long as it doesn't end with HHH vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania...

Agreed. HBK and Taker will be a hard act to follow for next Mania. On that note, who could possibly have enough credit to face Taker now? Oh and Kevin, HHH is good at filling holes based on the fact that Steph has basically had like a month in between giving birth and concieving the next kid. rofl Let's just hope he doesn't make her get a "my spot" tattoo on her crotch.

Maryse/Playboy Pics Resurface

Several readers have sent in word that Playboy's Online Cyber Club has posted nude photos of WWE Diva Maryse. It should be noted that these photos came from a shoot that Maryse did for Playboy about 4 years ago and are NOT new pics.

I don't know...I never really liked her, and then I saw her naked. Flashin' her stuff while not having to listen to her is a good look for her.

I found one of Melina not wearing underwear while entering the ring. Not bad.

I just remembered, a lot of Diva's in the past posed for playboy, and then came John Cena and the kids choice awards... xd

Nope, I think she is wearing a purple thong in the video. In the pic I found you see so up close that you see every ripple on the labia and even her a*****e.

WWE Diva Melina Confirms In-Ring Return

WWE Diva and former WWE Women's Champion Melina recently told the Between The Ropes pro wrestling radio show that she will be returning to the ring this Wednesday for the WWE developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).

Melina has been on the shelf since having surgery to repair a torn ACL she suffered several months ago.

Why JR Was Pulled From WWE Intro

It's being reported that Jim Ross was removed from WWE's opening TV video package as a punishment for appearing on camera at the UFC 116 event. Ross did an interview with Ariel Helwani at UFC 116, which showed video footage of Ross in attendance at the event along with Bill Goldberg, Steve Austin and Paul Heyman. However, since Ross is the only of those guys currently under contract with WWE, he was the one that WWE went after, and has subsequently replaced his voice in the intro with that of Michael Cole.

And yet...they bill him as the Global Champion...which actually has less star power than the World title. He's not sitting atop the company he helped build anymore...TNA, you've really ******** up.

Linda McMahon's Campaign Faces a New Opposing Group

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Linda McMahon's senate campaign is facing new opposition in the form a group called "Mothers Against McMahon." The group feels that McMahon and her family have marketed an appalling product to children throughout the years, and that she's spent $50 million to buy a spot in the senate. The group noted, "She [Linda McMahon] earned her millions putting her workers at risk and failing to provide health insurance or other disability benefits. The candidate now promising to create jobs laid off 10% of her work force to protect her personal profits."

Goldberg Comments on JR Being Removed From WWE Intro

Former WWE and WCW star Bill Goldberg posted the following on his Twitter page: "So I hear the WWE made an example out of JR because he was on camera being interviewed at Brock's UFC event. Things never change do they. Give'm hell JR!! Sounds like something they would do. Just speaking out for my buddy JR."

Goldberg then added, "Let's just say I don't know all the facts about JR's situation and the WWE....hell, I don't really know anything about it. So don't mind me.."
