It works when you don't want to get in trouble for not doing it, especially if you've been coming up with similar excuses all your life." She mentally smacked herself for letting Danny know that most of her randomness was a joke. As they got to the door, she said to him, "It was a nice chat, we'll have to talk more often. Or maybe we can shave a whale or something." A little bit mroe randomness might throw him off to her facade that she wasn't as random as she let on. Danny laughed a bit upon hearing her say she was going to go shave a whale. He then heard the shrill voice of Ryanna.
"First off I wasn't flirting. I didn't know it was wrong for a guy to have a conversation with a girl. Second, Sam isn't my girlfriend." Danny said turning around and glaring at Ryanna.

Ryanna's hands were now rested apon her hips and she was leaning slightly forward, a very feminine position. "Oh, really?" she asked, smirking a bit."Then why is it that you are always with her? Besides, I've seen how you stare at her. Half the school has! You CAN'T tell me that you have no feelings for her...?" she challenged, before walking past him and sliding through the gap between him and the doorway, entering her math class.

Seth peeked from around the hall's corner. The freshies were at it again: Danny Fenton and that snooty girl from this morning were bickering like an old married couple. The drama didn't interest Seth in the least; his theory about Danny did. Maybe it was a little creepy to follow a kid around under the suspicion that he had other-worldly powers, but there were just too many coincidences to ignore.

Mari watched the little argument between her peers. Shakign her head, she started to think of away to make them both ignore each other for a few minutes. Smiling evilly, she walked over to the doorway where Ryanna was standing.

Danny clenched his fists at his sides. He grumbled a bit and entered the classroom, as he walked in he mumbled curse words under his breath. He sat down in his seat and slammed his books on the desk. "Stupid witch." Danny said flopping down in his seat and slamming his head against the desk.

Well, this is going nowhere fast, Seth thought, scratching his nose in thought. If he wanted proof, he needed a catalyst; something to accelerate the situation. In other words, he needed a ghost. Easier said than done...I've never even seen a ghost before...

Mari looked into the hallway, noticing Seth standing there. Of course, she didn;t know his name yet. She walked out of the classroom, she still had plenty of time before class.

Ryanna just smirked as Danny plopped into his seat and slammed his head on the side of the desk. He wasn't denying it! She thought trumphantly before turning to Marina and raising her eyebrows. "No thanks, I think I'll pass." Ryanna said, supressing a shudder. Why? Truthfully, Ryanna was ketophobic--in other words, she had a fear of whales for no reason at all.
Gracefully, Ryanna sat down in her seat, her bag falling to her feet.
(Yeah, I just had to put that; Ryanna's fear of whales is based on mine!)

"Fish," Seth answered distractedly. Being discovered; his 'ninja skills' were getting sloppy. Continuing to scratch his nose, Seth worked out an idea. This girl seemed to be a local, and despite her oddness, he was pretty sure he could communicate if he could pick out a method in her madness.
First, the direct approach: "Do you know where I can find a ghost?"

"You know, the only way to get fish out of your shoes is to put them on top of your head and do the macerena, right?? It just doesn't work to do the limbo, it's gotta be the macerena. Well, I'm glad to know that you can find your class. What class do you have now anyways? Maybe you have it with my friend Cate." Mari thought this guy was hilarious, and laughed a little. He was either mocking her, or possibly hiding soemthing, but he still said his shoes were full of fish.
"Ghosts? Pretty much anywhere around here, but they often come from the Fenton household. They have a ghost portal, and ghosts are constantly getting out. There's rumors of a thermos full of ghosts there as well. A thermos. It's weirder than me, I know." She now was pretty sure something was going on, nobody asked her anything. Danny glared at Ryanna. She was so going to get it. He had half a mind to release the box ghost from the thermos just so that he would attack Ryanna. He sighed a bit andpropped his head up in his hands.

Easy, the senior smiled. She's talking directly, but she just makes random comments in between statements. So, the ghosts come from the Fenton's house; makes sense. If I keep her entertained, I can get all the info I need.

When he said cheese projectiles, her eyes brightened up. "I didn't even know we had that class! I gotta sign up for it next year! If I don't take Ostrich farming 101, that's the class I have to take. Since I haven't heard of it, it's obviously not in this part of the school. You should hurry, other teachers make you wash the trees if you're late, trust me. It's no fun." Of course she knew there wasn't a class liek cheese projectiles, he wasn't that good at hiding the fact he was digging for info.

Well, mission accomplished. I have just about all the circumstantial evidence I need, so now I just have to actually see Danny in action. What a productive day! "You too. Oh, I didn't get your name. I'm Seth."
