"Jax wouldn't do anything to hurt me," Ellende said, angry now. "You're just messing with me. He loves me."

Dustin shrugs again. "Whatever. Just remember that immortals don't usually lie about something for at least a few millenium. So if you become sad or mad or anything else because of this? Remember that I warned you." He says as he turns and starts walking back down the hill toward camp. He started to almost fade into the moonlight.

Ellende stood there, more confused than she had been in a long time. "Jax..." she whispered, not sure what to think. Quickly, before she could change her mind, she took off running for the Aphrodite cabin.

Ellende's bare feet thudded softly against the ground. Running no longer brought her the same joy it had before; instead, she ran because it was what she had always done. She didn't push her limits or try to break her own records like she used to; she thudded along at a slow, steady pace. The cold wind, which she would have welcomed before, laughing as it whipped her hair back, now felt unforgiving.
((I love it when my characters are depressed. It's so much fun.))

((I've have an idea for something to do.))
As Ellende jogs along a stunningly beautiful women stands in front of her. She is wearing an amazing outfit to go with her already perfect looks. The goddess Aphrodite glares at Ellende. "I knew you would be trouble for my poor Jax." She says angrily to Ellende, though her angriness still sounds soft and sweet to anyone who hears it.

((Thanks for rescuing me from the boredom abyss of doom.))
Ellende stopped in front of Aphrodite. She looked at her with cold miserable eyes and said simply and emotionlessly, "I didn't mean to cause Jax any harm."

"Didn't mean to! Your not meaning to still got him thrown off a cliff! He was my only demi-god son. You are the one who got him to go fight that nephew of mine Dustin. Son of Artemis. Artemis never knew anything. It is a good thing she hardly ever has children. But with Hyperion! Of course Dustin was a bad egg. We should have let Zeus vaporize Dustin. But Artemis, Poseidon, and Athena convinced everyone not to. Athena said that if we got rid of Dustin then Hypeion might be angered and they might have another rise of the titans. Still, you should have done something. I liked Victoria better. She is a good daughter of mine. That is why I gave her voice back. I thought that maybe she could help Jax, but look how that turned out." Aphrodite says angrily to Ellende, even though her anger sounds sweet and not infuriating. Though you could see by her expression that she was very mad.

"I tried to tell him not to go fight Dustin," Ellende said miserably. "He went anyways." He was a true hero, she thought to herself.

"Well you should have done more to stop him. At least you can move on to someone else. He was my only demi-god son. How do you thing I feel about this? And he was killed by some hot-headed relative of mine no less. I knew you were terrible for him the first time I claimed him. I even said so, did I not?" Aphrodite says angrily, but again with a softness and sweetness that always seems to come from her.

"You did say I was terrible for him," Ellende said. The blank, miserable look in her face was replaced with a hard determination. "And he said I was perfect for him. And his opinion was more important to me."

"Well look where that got him! At the bottom of a cliff! So what opinion means more. I was correct and he should have found a better girl than you." Aphrodite says you with disgust and the rest angrily, but as always softly and sweetly that just always seems to accompany her every word.

Ellende glared at Aphrodite, gathering up her courage. "He can't have found a better girl than me," she insisted. "Because I'll wait for him. However long it takes, I'll wait for Jax."

"Wait for him! He fell off a cliff! I even asked Hades to tell me if he was dead. Do you know what he told me? 'Yeah, he is dead. Jax came through a while ago. He is sitting in the fields of Asphodel, awaiting judgement to determine how his life went'." Aphrodite says to her angrily and mimicing Hades in a disgusted tone, but with her sweet soft voice.

"Then I'll never love again," Ellende vowed. "They told Penelope Odysseus was dead and she refused to believe it. She waited twenty years. I can wait my entire life."

"Well Hades himself didn't confirm Odysseus was dead. I did. Jax is in the Underworld right now, awaiting judgement on his life. And to never love again would be a slap in the face to me and Jax. I am a goddess of love and you vow not to love again, right in front of me. Maybe you should join Artemis's hunters, with there vows of the same. Though it was Artemis's son who killed Jax." Aphrodite says angrily and with disgust, but her sweet soft voice underlying it as well.
