"I'm sorry," Yuki said, lowering her head abit. "It's just, I get so frustrated and no one understands me! I mean, I'm like six years old. In this place I'm the ONLY cat. The rest of you are either wolves or dogs, not that I have anything against you, but there's nothing I have in common with anyone. And now some stupid prissy little b***h wolf comes in, pracitcally throws me out of that stupid lab when I'm trying to help that jerk, and does he give damn? Of course not. I just hate it. I hate everything about this place. My life. All of it!"

Inusuke, by that time, was fully healed, and sat up in bed, mulling the events that happened with Serenity's arrival. Kaya had left, and so had Yuki. "I'm going to have to go find Kaya. . .and apologize to her. I think I know now what these feelings inside of me are that are directed towards her."He said to himself, and pulled the covers off, changing to an avian element that caused two wings to sprout out of his back and meld onto his arms. He sighed, and flew out the window, his sense of smell picking up Kaya's scent. Flying down, Inusuke reshifted his element back to neutral, and landed on all fours on the ground next to Kaya and Yuki. He decided to take care of Yuki's feelings first.
"Yuki. . .I apologize for what I failed to do when Serenity came to my aid. . .I...I do not know why I didn't ask her to allow you to help me as well. If you don't want to come back to the Home, I will understand, but if you do come back, I'd like you to tell me what it is that you would like changed at the home,"Inusuke said, looking down at the ground.
Looking over to Kaya, Inusuke's heart started to beat faster. "Okay, man, just say it nice and easy. If she hits you or runs off, don't chase after her nor retaliate."He thought to himself before admitting his true feelings to Kaya. "Kaya. . .I apologize for all the negative events that have happened since you came into the Home. Forgive me, please. . .I now know why I feel the way I do around you...Kaya? I think I'm..."His heart threatened to beat out of his chest at this point. "I think I'm in love with you."He said at last, a blush appearing on his face. He looked right at Kaya, ready for her to run away or even slap him. "I...I'm sorry it took me so long to come out with it."

Kaya stared at him and blinked a few times, she then started to laugh. "You must be kidding? By the way things were going between you and that other wolf lady that was in here I'd say you two got along just fine." She then brought her fan up to her face. "Don't play jokes with me."

Inusuke sighed, and looked right into Kaya's eyes. "Kaya. . .I'm not kidding. Sure, Serenity is a nice girl and we get along well, but it's you that I love, not her. Besides, you left before you had a chance to hear that Serenity is bisexual. She's not rooming with me, she's rooming with Kiera. Please, Kaya, won't you and Yuki please come back to the Home? I can understand if Yuki doesn't, but I feel that I need you there, Kaya. Please, think about it. If you won't come back, at least return for tonight so you don't get too cold out here on the streets."Inusuke said, taking his jacket off and draping it around Kaya. "I truly do love you, Kaya..."He finished with, then shifted to a fire element, radiating heat out so Yuki didn't get too cold. "If you are both going to sleep out here, I will sleep out here as well to keep you warm. Once morning comes, I will return to the Home. It is your own choice if you choose to return then or now."He said, sitting with his back to the nearest vertical structure.

Kaya laughed again. "So that is how you feel. That won't bring me back to the home. Not after seeing your actions towards Yuki. Just saying sorry won't cut it." She then closed her fan with a snap. "I could never allow myself to fall in love with someone like you."

Inusuke frowned, and tears formed in his eyes. "I guess the humans were right...I am a no-good pathetic anthro. I can't believe I didn't see it until now. I should have died that day those two hunters found me..."He said to himself, his spirit finally broken. "I should go up to the first human I see and ask him to end my suffering. He should do it without hesitation, seeing as how it seems all the humans hate me, and now it seems that my native race is starting to hate me as well. Farewell, Kaya and Yuki. If you come across Serenity or Kiera in the future, tell them that they should not miss me since I have done nothing for them. I'm too selfish to do anything for other people."Inusuke added. He stood up and slowly walked toward the busy street ahead, looking back at Kaya, all the color drained out of his eyes. "Farewell. . .my dear Kaya. Yuki, I sincerely apologize for everything. I am giving my life so that you don't have to deal with me anymore. Hello, Death...How are you? Are you ready to receive my soul? I'm ready to give it to you."He said, now standing at the curb, looking off into space as if he was a zombie.
[OOC: I'm going to leave it off at a cliffhanger. Kagome and I have agreed that I can leave it off at the following.] As he takes a few steps into the busy street...........

Kaya thought all of it was joke untill she saw him take a step into the busy street. Anger and fear ran through her veins and she dropped her fan to the ground with a small clatter. She howled out and her hair grew short and her hands turned large and white fur began to grow all over her body, her Kimono slipped off and a larger grey tail came from her behind. Once turned into her true wolf form, Kaya jumped into the busy street and scooped him up by using her nise under his leags. Once he was on her back, she jumped onto a few large tractor trailor tucks and landed safely on the other side of the bust street.

Inusuke looked up at her as she saved him, and the color slowly returned to his eyes. "W...Why did you save me? I thought you didn't like me...Why did you save me?"He said to her, looking at her in her wolf form. "You didn't have to...I was prepared to die to keep you and Yuki from having to be bugged by me again."He said, crying and wrapping his arms around her."Thank you...Thank you very much for saving me, Kaya-chan."

A low growl came from her throat, but it wasn't a warning or a threat, she was happy. "I couldn't let you kill yourself for such a foolish reason, Inusuke. Don't ever let me catch you doing something this foolish again. The next time you might not be as luckly. I might not be there to save you." She then twisted her neck and licked his face. She was glad the trffic was there to cover her actions, she would not want Yuki seeing her act this way.

"Hmph," Yuki snorted. Before Inusuke had gone and done something stupid, she said, "Do you really think an apology is going to change anything? Even if you had said anything, it wouldn't have mattered." She took a long shuddering breath and released it. "You can never know what it feels like to not know who you really are. You don't know what it feels like to be alone in the world as I am. I've never had a family I could call my own. I've never been loved. Any parents I may have had, they either died when I was born, or they just didn't want me. I can never know that. I've always had to take care of myself. My miserable little life is just one sob story after another. And I just can't live with people telling me what to do. Trying to change my emotions. This isn't what I want. I want a life I can really call my own. I want a family that can love me. And I don't think I can ever find that here. Or anywhere." If one thought about it, even for a child she knew how to actually use the brain she had unlike most people, just didn't seem like it sometimes. Her words weren't exactly well chosen, but if they listened, someone could understand her.
She didn't watch Inusuke or Kaya when Inusuke started to walk towards the street. She didn't watch him step from the curb, or see Kaya save him. She had shifted to the larger of her two Ocelot forms. He'd have to try harder to get her to stay. With her head, ears and tail lowered, she glanced back at where they'd been moments before, sighed thinking they'd left her, and start to move away.

"You killed them, it is your fault they are dead." A man called from the shadows as Kiera knelt next to her parents. Her hair hung losely around her face, hiding her tears from the world. "I didn't mean it," she whispered. "I was to young, I don't know what happened, I was to young, why did you leave me?" Kiera said hugging her mother and father. Before the man in the shadows spoke again, "You should have died, you should be dead now and yet you live, desperately trying to be one of those humans, when your mother was treated as an outcast. Your father was a wimp of a demon, not fighting and trying to save those humans. You will never be like them, no one will ever accept you. You are all alone."
Kiera awoke with a jolt, her hair was all sweaty as tears trickled down her cheeks. Slight whimpers escaped the chapped lips of her pale face. She sat up slowly and looked around the room, taking her a mintue for her eyes to adjust. Seeing the bed next to her she saw Serinty sleeping soundly. Deciding not to wake her anymore with her nightmare Kiera decided to go outside. She threw on a sweatshirt. It covered her tank top and almost half of her boxes, but it didn't mater to her. Quietly she grabbed her sword and Tokijin, and went down stairs.
Before she went outside she decided to go down and check on Insuke. Walking down stairs she slipped a little on the bottom step and fell into the wall. Jumping up quickly she peered into Insukes and looked in. She didn't want to turn on the light, and well she really didn't have to. Her eyes were real good at night, or in the dark. Checking his bed she saw that he wasn't there, but then recalled that he was worried about Kaya and Yuki. She turned quickly and went back up stairs, walking outside and turning to the night sky.
The air around her was cool and still. She went to the center of the yard and checked out what was around her. Serinty was probably at the end of the building, but hopefully she couldn't hear anything. Slowly she drew her sword and watched the fire engulf the sliver. Kiera smiled at this, and quickly thrusted in an X formation and then hit the ground. This sent a fire inferno to a rock about twenty feet away. Kiera repeated the attack a few times.
After finish that Kiera climbed the tree she was sitting at early in the evening. Her heart began to beat faster as she closed her eyes thinking about her dreams, and wondering if they were really true. "Was it really true that they died because of me? Could I have done something to save them?" Kiera thought to herself, tears coming down her cheeks again. The wind began to pick up as she cried harder and her tail began to twitch. Slowly she wrapped it around her knees, and Kiera stretched her sweatshirt over her knees, bringing them closer to her body. Then she slipped the hoodie on and adjusted her ears into the slits that she cut for them. Sitting there she shivered and closed her eyes, thinking about her parents, and what she had to put up with so far.

A young anthro of about nineteen years old as she walked slowly along a path she'd found. She'd been lost for some time now, and had no idea where she was going. Not long before, a mob of humans had been chasing her, weapons in their hands, wanting her head. Perfect life right? Always on the run? Why of course! She paused briefly, hearing voices.
"I wonder," she murmured under her breath, scratching her head. She moved a little closer and noted there were two wolves, and some sort of cat anthro, what kind she couldn't tell. She watched as the two wolves talked, and then oe went off to commit suicide or something. But her focus remained mostly on the young cat anthro. She watched as the girl shifted into what looked like an Ocelot and started to leave.
"Hey," she said softly as the Ocelot neared her. She watched in amusement as Ocelot bristled and turned to glare up at her. "Hey hey!" she said waving her hands. I won't hurt you. The Ocelot relaxed. "Can you show me your other form? The human-ish one?"
Yuki stared up at the tall girl before her. Timidly, she shifted back. "Who are you?" she asked quietly.
"My name is Riziki," she replied warmly. "May I ask you your name?"
"I'm Yuki Sakura. Are you lost or something?" she asked.
"You could say that," Riziki replied as she sat down against a tree, one knee drawn up, her arm resting on it. "I was running from some humans, and now I don't know where I am. I've never been here before.
"Well I can tell you, that this place is no good," Yuki said with a scowl on her small face, folding her arms over her chest.
"Oh? And why's that?" Riziki asked, curiostiy clearly showing in her voice.
Yuki sighed and explained how she was feeling. About how she felt so alone. When she was done, there were tears in her eyes, threatening to fall from them.
Being the sympathetic type sometimes, Riziki held out her arms and embraced the child. She didn't completely understand her, but she felt the same lonliness. She stretched out her legs and held her on her lap, hugging the small girl tightly.
She didn't know why exactly, but Yuki felt she could trust this Riziki. She knew the older girl didn't fully understand how she felt, but they had the same lonliness.

Kaya soon changed back to her other form and looked across the street. "Yuki's gone! Blast!" She then darket across the street and began to call for the small girl. "Yuki!! Yuki!..Not again..."

Inusuke looked up at her, and gave her a quick peck on her cheek, then stood up. "Thanks, Kaya. Thanks for saving me. Shall we head back to the Home? It's almost morning. I can still understand if you want to stay out here, but I'd really appreciate it if you could please come back to the home,"Inusuke said to her, looking deep into her eyes. He did all this before she took off after Yuki.
Serenity, meanwhile, had just woken up. She always woke up at this time of morning, she never did find out why. Climbing out of bed, she looked over to Kiera's bed and found that she was gone. "She's probably out in the back again. I'll go outside and check on her."She said to herself, opening the window to Kiera's room and jumping out, closing it behind her. Spotting Kiera, Serenity ran over to her, and sat next to her. "Bad dreams, I take it? I didn't expect you to be up earlier than I get up. I love watching the sunrise, but that's not why I get up this early. I just don't know."She said, rambling on like she did every morning when she woke up. One of the downfalls to her deep sleep patterns was that she had to talk herself awake or else she would fall asleep again.

Riziki slowly rose to her feet, holding the sleeping Yuki in her arms. She smiled and held the child against her. The girl was sweet. She lifted her head hearing someone shout Yuki's name, and headed towards. Perhaps she the child would know who it was that was looking for her.
Yuki stirred slightly in Riziki's arms, sinking into the warmth of the older girl. She really did feel safe with her. She like Riziki. Perhaps.... perhaps if she went back to the home, they could have their own room. Yuki would be happy then. SHe'd have some one to talk to. Someone who could understand her.
Riziki looked down at the sleeping Yuki and smiled. "I wonder where this little one lives," she murmured. "It's strange that she would be out here on her own anyways. The world isn't safe for little ones like her." She lifted her head spotting someone up ahead. Slowly, she approached Kaya, stopping several feet away. "Excuse me?" she said to the girl.
