Hi, I'm Rae, I'm fourteen and I've been playing DDR for about a year now ^__^ I play on the playstation and the arcades whenever possible, and I've only competed in one tournament so far-- got to the semi finals. I've mastered standard and I'm just starting to not die horribly on heavy.
Yeah.. smile

*waves* Hi, I'm Manda ^^. I'm 20 years old and I'm in college in Columbus, MS. My brother got me hooked on DDR about ... two years ago, now. And I love it! I'm not that good because I can't practice as much as I'd like to...but I'm getting better! ^_^
I own the first DDR game (for PS1) and my brother and I together own DDRMax2. And my best friend owns DDRMax. So...technically, I play on those three games. Plus DDRMax2 and/or DDRExtreme machines at various arcades.
As for how good I am...XD. I can play most songs on Light mode up to 5 and sometimes 6 feet. And it's about the same for Standard mode. Although sixteenth notes still really confuse me usually sweatdrop I've gotten better at eighth notes though! Yay! XD. Oh...and there's like 2 songs I can play on Heavy LOL.

Good day.
My name's John; I'm from a small town in Georgia, but I'm currently attending the Univ. of GA. I've been playing DDR since July of 2002 (played in Japan, was instantly hooked), and haven't stopped...my NNR handle is Discoman (as you might've guessed). I am the President of the UGA DDR Players Organization, the first club to address DDR in this particular university. I have five heavy AAA's to my record (pictures of all but one), and one second-place freestyle ranking in a major tournament (DDR Storm 3, Jacksonville, FL), and have won several tournaments in southern Georgia (Savannah, Brunswick, etc.) I have trained several people in DDR (met one of my girlfriends on the DDR pad, actually got her up to Heavy level), and thoroughly enjoy watching friends' skills rise in level.
After tearing through a million $20 softpads (that I either burned out with the wrong adapter or simply wore out; I knew nothing of modding), I plunked money down for a Cobalt Flux in January of 2003. It still works very well. I own Extreme JP (import, original, not burned), and once had in my possession MaxUS and Max2US.
I love freestyling, although I'll be the first to admit that I'm not that wonderful at it...I need practice.
I also speak Japanese. w00t.
If you're even more curious about me after reading that insanely long introduction, PM me. I have some videos and pics of DDR and tournaments. Additionally, if you coordinate DDR stuff in your college/university, I'd love to hear about it.
Nice to have joined with you all.
JM

If you slack, it'll show. But the more you get into it, the easier it becomes to pick it up after you haven't been playing for a while... if that makes any sense.... confused

Wow, how long has this place existed? Never even knew about it, only the other Bemani guild.
So, people call me Z. I'm very good at DDR, been playing since 1st mix!
I can AA every song in the game and have cleared Legend Road, I'm not nearly as competitive as I used to be though.

Hi, my names Tabatha, I live in California, and I'm 18 years old.
I'm still a noob at DDR since I only started back in June. I'm still playing on light mode, but I can do a couple songs on standard, and I'm working on other songs for standard. sweatdrop
My favorite mix and the only mix I've ever really played at the arcade is DDRMAX2.
My favorite DDR song for Light is Candy (star version) from DDRMAX2. It's fun on light mode, I dont think I could do it on standard. sweatdrop
My favorite DDR song for Standard is A Minute (for the time being anyways, cus I still can't do it, it's tricky, I'll get it eventually.)
