O'Brian munched the bread, still smiling, and soon, he was finished. "I guess we will arrive by noon...!" He announced, climbing over the table, got his sword and finked it into a passing piece of egg. He started to eat it, as if nothing happened. He sat back down, putting his feet over the table, wondering if he could sneak into the kitchen and grab some rum.
"I guess we might arrive even earlier..." Hiako commented, looking closely at the captain's movements. "We were pretty close from it yesterday..." After eatting some slices of bread, Hiako was already stuffed, so she stood u, and with a slight but polite sorry, she left Zella alone with O'Brian, saying she had some work to do... She left the room, and went down stairs, all the way to the bottom of the boat. The lower levels were completely empty, and soon, Hiako arrived into a dark room, that exhaled a strange odor. She went in, and soon came out, carrying a strange packet.

Hello! heart sorry I haven't written in a while... sweatdrop school is just piling up the homework
Rin plopped down on her sofa. Her green kitty scratched and chewed sofa which was a moldy green and had stuffing ripped out of it. She flipped through the only book she had -- her table's construction manual, still trying to decipher the words. Rin couldn't read. And she didn't like that. Her mom could read, she made the table, cooked meals from the now chewed up recipe books and read Rin stories of the wild. The wonderfull. But she was stuck, like one of those stupid goldfish in the pond by the library.
Rin had already bought the stuff her stolen jewelry could afford, so there was nothing to do all day. And when there was nothing to do all day in human form, there was ABSOLUTELY nothing you could do about it.
Rin pushed the sofa to the window and opened the blinds to let some murky grey sunlight through the grimy window. Then she curled up and fell asleep.

✖Ȥεllα Wøø∂szzzzzzzz❀ zzzzzzzzzzz☠ pirate in training ☠ Zella almost laughed out loud at O'brian's sudden attack on the eggs but swallowed it because she wanted to ask him a couple more questions. "this pirate island..." she said hesitantly, facing towards O'brian's chewing jaws. "Is...did anyone loose any family members there..?" Zella tried to keep her tone nice and casual but her voice cracked a bit, giving out that she was somehow afraid of the answer. Zella saw Hiako get up and quickly said goodbye. She focused back on the captain and waited for O'brian to swallow, daring to hope against hope that someone who came from the pirate islands knew her. That some how, she was from that mysterious place and had a place to call home. That somewhere in the world, someone knew who she really, truly was. A loud shout suddenly came from outside the room, breaking Zella's train of thought. "Were almost there!" Yelled a loud, gruff voice. "I can see it...Pirate island!" < >

"If someone ever lost a family member? I'm sure there are many cases... After all, pirates die daily... Such a loss, but life goes on...!" the captain said, as if it was a boring and useless topic. O'Brian opened his mouth, but stopped with his mouth half open, hearing the stranger's shout. "I guess we are arriving soon...!" O'Brian stood up, smiling. "Come Zella, let's go outside!" he told her, rushing outside the room.
Hiako slowly climbed up the stairs, buffing. It wasn't really heavy, but the sack was heavy enough to make her use more force. Her head popped out in the middle of the deck, while she searched for someone. Localizing O'Brian, she smiled and went in his direction. "Let me guess: we are arriving!"

The wind blasted the blanket and the Rin hiding underneath it off the bow of the ship. I..what... Rin thought as she looked around. She was on a boat. A huge boat, in fact, full of snaggle toothed, meaty, rag clothed people. And the snaggle toothed meaty rag clothed people looked positivily frightening.
Rin got up, rubbing her sore bottom. She looked at the captain steering the ship. And she looked at the captains hat. Then at the flag. Rin grinned. She was on a pirate ship! Wether as part of the crew or maybe a stow away she didn't know, but it was better than the life of Rin-the-werecat. She strolled out into the middle of the deck. No one paid her any of attention. guess I'm crew then Rin thought.
"Hey!" A pirate with a particularly nasty looking infection on his ear yelled across the boat towards her. "Get ta work, ya aren't gettin' paid fer nothin', ya know!" He tossed Rin a mop.
Rin grabbed it instinctively and the old pirate turned away, satisfied. Oh, gee, what an upgrade. She thought. Nevertheless, Rin dipped the mop into a nearby pirates bucket of water and started to swab. After a few minutes she sighed and stared out at the sea. What was that in the horizon? A ship? Maybe even...a ship to battle? She glanced around. No one was paying attention.
"Captain!" she yelled. "Theres a ship to the um, starboard I think!"
The captain stared out into the fog. "Yarr! So there is!" He turned to the crowd of pirates looking up expectantly below. "Get ready fer battle, m'lads! The cannons! Get yer swords! Its time ter earn yer booty!" The pirates cheered and scurried to grab a sword.
Rin looked around, dazed and wondering where to get a sword.
"Here ya go, miss," The ear infected pirate threw her a sword. It was well balanced and felt right in her hand. In a few moments, the army was ready. The captain launched the cannons and so did the other ship. The other ship was no doubt quite expirienced and their aim was good. But the ship Rin was on was better. In a few moments, the two ships locked and all of Rin's ship mates charged at the skinny bit of wood that was going to get about fifty pirates across at one go. Rin ran expertly over the sea and landed onto the boat with no difficulty. She took in her surroundings.
All over, the pirates were locked one on one combat. Rin found an opponent quite easily. Whoever that pirate was, he knew a bit or two about fighting. Rin had a hard time blocking and stabbing. She had never used a sword before. Then as she finally got pass his defence and the sword was plunging toward his chest, there was a large BOOM.
Rin woke up. Her stomach grumbled. She sat up, and, cursing as no 16 year old should put her ratty shoes on and headed toward the door. That was the best dream of her life, and that ship coming into dock had just ruined it and made her hungry. Rin crept out the door.
Living so close to the dock was both an advantage and a disadvantage. One, it was always cold, wet and moldy. Two, every time a ship came in ther was a huge thud as the ship reached dock. Three, you always got hit worse by the hurricanes and wild storms. But the one good thing was, you could usually sneak something valuble off the ship, and that they always had food stashed in the kitchen. That made it all worthwhile.
Rin shifted to kitty form in the hedges. After all, who would notice a sweet innocent thing sneaking onto a ship and stealing jewelry? Lets go see what they have in store. she thought.

✖Ȥεllα Wøø∂szzzzzzzz❀ zzzzzzzzzzz☠ pirate in training ☠ Zella ran after O'brian, her thoughts and wishes vanishing with each and every step towards the unknown lands. Her excitement could barely be contained. Something about the prospect of going to a new place (especially a place on land) exhilarated her. Her footsteps pounded on the floor boards as she followed O'brian. He was still shouting instructions such as "Man the sails!" and "Secure the knots!" when they finally halted.
Zella spotted Hiako out of the corner of her eye. She was carrying a large sack on her back and seemed to be struggling to keep the satchel from slipping and plummeting to the bottom of the stairs. Zella was just about the shout hello and go help her when hiako finally managed to haul herself and the bag from the staircases.
Hiako made her way over to them, smiling widely. "I guess we are arriving soon...!" She announced.
Zella nodded, her head bobbing up and down like an over-excited ostrich. "isn't this exciting?" She cried as she ran towards the ships rails and looked out. "There it is!"
The blotchy green thing in front of her was getting clearer and clearer until it finally revealed a beautiful island. Several pirates took the liberty to laugh at Zella childish act but she didn't mind, focusing her attention to the piece of land. She could make out a little village just off the coast with little blobs (people) who seemed to be working. The water on the coast seemed much bluer than the seas as well and many small boats were gliding to and from the shore.
Zella didn't know how long she stared at the island but before she knew it, A loud grumbling sound issued from the ship causing it to vibrate a little. She shook her head, clearing away the fog from it and went back to where Hiako and O'brian were standing. O'brian was still shouting orders but Hiako was just listening.
Zella waved to Hiako. She noticed the bag on the floor and a sudden curiosity took over her. "What's in that bag?" She asked Hiako, pointing towards it. ..the fresh, open sea...

(I'll kind of... merge both of the characters... It is to much for me to post everything two times D smile
Hiako stood quiet, admiring O'Brian. He could be reckless, careless, lover of alcohol, and a bit crazy, but still, he was a good captain when needed to. If she didn't knew him well, she would think he was a strange person, maybe even bipolar. She smiled to herself, looking at the horizon, searching for traces of the island. A green, unidentified, and strangely shaped figure appeared in the sea-line. We are arriving... she thought, glad. O'Brian seemed to noticed the island as soon as her, and soon, he was screaming different orders, such as "Hide our flag" or "Clean yourselves!" Those procedures were a training; Usually, when they got to an island, no one could know who they really are, as pirates aren't really welcomed at all ports. "Whats in the bag?" Hiako turned herself, noticing Zella, standing there. Her expression was obvious; Curiosity and excitement. "No big deal... Just part of my booty... After all, I can't stick with it forever...!" Hiako commented, nodding. "I'll sell them in the city... After, I'll shop... No girl can leave without her basic needs: Jewelery, clothes, and obviously, candies!" She raised her package, opening it slightly. She grabbed a collar from inside, a old-looking gold collar. "I have these and much more...!"

ok heart
Rin stalked silently down the streets, keeping a wary eye on the kids who usually threw rocks at her, while taking in the new arrivals. These pirates were a tad bit more fashionable than her dream, and a good bunch cleaner too.
She padded down near a girl wearing jeans and a tshirt, dragging a sack that clinked with what sounded like something valuable. Rin eyed the bag before continuing down towards the dock.
The ship was something. It wasn't those itty bittle sailboats that hosted straggelers and beggars that came to join the thieving community, No, it was one of those ships that could only be described as glamourous. Rin's tail twitched. If they could afford to decorate the outside of the ship, what it held would be the riches of the world.
Rin finally reached the dock, she waited until the horde of pirates trickeled into ones and two's before skillfully walking across the ropes that held the ship to land and into the boat. The deck was deserted. Good. Rin bounded from shadow to shadow and reached a door that read Captain. Then she shifted to human and creaked the door slowly open before slipping in. Time to get to work.

✖Ȥεllα Wøø∂szzzzzzzz❀ zzzzzzzzzzz☠ pirate in training ☠ Laughing at Hiako's wit, Zella peered into the bag, half expecting something priceless and beautiful to be inside it. She was right. many shining pieces of jewelry and fancy treasures were all jumbled up together in the plain, seemingly-innocent burlap sack. "wow!" Zella gasped, putting her hand up to he mouth to hide her awe from the other pirates who were looking curiously over at the 2 girls. Hiako fished out a particularly nice looking gold collar from the sack and handed it to Zella so she could inspect it. "The details, the markings...I think I've seen this before.." she whispered, mostly to herself. Hiako didn't hear her speak, which was just as well because she probably couldn't explain how she could remember seeing an old gold collar that had been probably lost at sea more than a thousand years ago. Zella fingered the designs on the necklace, entranced by the intricate carvings and the sparkling emerald encased in the center. "I'd...can I keep this?" Zella suddenly asked, holding up the collar. "I promise I will pay you back! Once I get enough money, I promise! I'll even add something else to it. maybe a nicer, newer necklace? I just...I just would like to keep it. It reminds me of something..." She looked at Hiako hopefully, her eyes pleading. (lol. ok! thats fine smile ) ..the fresh, open sea...

"Why not? After all, I'm rich...!" Hiako commented, maliciously. Rich wasn't exactly the best word to describe her... Poor would be better, as she couldn't stand to have money in the pocket and not waste it with useful or not items. "Don't worry, and you don't need to pay me back, lets make it as a gift." Hiako gave a knot in the bag and smiled. Every time they arrived in dry land, she felt happy. She loved the sea, but dry land seemed... Safer. "I guess... Why don't we go down? This island is awesome!" She announced, running all the way down through the half lowered bridge. She jumped and landed, neatly in the port. Some pirates clapped, and she turned her self, bowing.
"If you don't go fast, I'm sure Hiako can leave you behind...!" O'Brian said, laughing for himself. He walked in his room's direction, waving to Zella and pointing at Hiako. He entered in his room and closed the door, walking in the direction of his closet. What to do...? What to do...? He took off his hat and jacket, changing the set of his clothes, to a more, sophisticated and clean set.

Rin peaked around the corner. Shoot There was someone onboard! She turned toward the doorway and tugged on it gently, praying it wouldn't creak. She tugged a little harder, it wouldn't open. Rins mind flew into panic. She was onboard a pirate ship, and caught red-handed stealing in the captains room. Not to mention locked in with the captain. Rin hunched down, trying to shift silently into a kitten in the little corner that probably seperated her from being thrown into the shark infested waters. Rin felt the familiar pain of her bones rearranging and fur sprouting out of her skin. She held her whimper of pain and silently stalked to the far corner full of shadows and dust. The captains back was turned, and Rin made it across with only the slightest bit of creak on the tenth floorboard. Then she stuffed herself into the cobwebs and decided to wait out the captain.--> I say... <-- biggrin Find her when her stomach rumbles? razz --> Now you say... <--

✖Ȥεllα Wøø∂szzzzzzzz❀ zzzzzzzzzzz☠ pirate in training ☠ Zella laughed at Hiako's bravado and joined in with the applause, then climbed down after her. Her feet touched the soft earth and she trembled slightly. She couldn't remember ever putting a foot on something as steady and solid as this. "This feels weird!" She announced to the much surprised group of pirates who hadn't noticed her fall. Zella kept swaying back and forth; she was so used to the oceans current since she could only remember being on it. Zella took a hesitant step but quickly keeled over, landing face-first in the dirt. "ow..." she mumbled, spitting out dirt. "I have to get used to this non-moving ground stuff..." She got up and looked at her fellow pirates. They were all laughing at her and before she knew it, she was laughing right along with them. After a couple more unsuccessful tries at walking, she finally got the hang of it. Zella walked up to Hiako. "to the city?" she asked cheerfully, her sea legs still giving her a bit of trouble. Zella couldn't wait to see more of this land. From what she could gather from Hiako's explanations, this place was going to be wonderful. ..the fresh, open sea...
