*MK smiled and held her arm, taking a quick look around the lab and then porting them out of it in a burst of blue light*

Goosie lead her boss back inside.
"You should lay down, doctor. I'll finish up the day's tasks and you can get some rest." She told him, guiding him over to the bed and helping him out of his coat and shoes, then insisted he get under the covers. With him in bed, she made sure to leave some water for him, and drew the curtain around. Goosie went about her daily tasks, shirking them to some extent because she was tired, before she gave up on accomplishing much.
She gathered up her PJs and changed into them on the other side of the curtain, where she had some privacy, then slipped back behind it, climbing onto the bed and curling up on her side of it.
"Night night~" She said, knowing if he needed something else of her, he'd wake her, and drifting off to sleep, content.

*MK awoke in the middle of the night. Jolted nearly all the way out of bed, though caught himself quickly and was careful not to startle his assistant. With a heavy migraine, and a freight train of thought running through him, he cautiously got on his boots and coat, and ported out of his lab in haste*

*The lab lit up as MK ported in on his beam of LGHT, the blue glow illuminating the room for several moments before vanishing. He stood there, his coat covered in all sorts of chemicals, and the smell of sulfer wafting off of him*
... What a night.

Goosie was woken up by the combination of smells and bright lights, squinting as she pushed herself up onto her elbows and eyed him sleepily.
"Good morning, Doc...wow," She sat up properly, pulling her PJ top up over her nose and bowing her head to rub the tired out of her eyes.
"Um, did I miss something?" The girl asked, sounding slightly muffled and holding the shirt up with one hand as she looked his way again.

Just some field work, is all! Had an idea in me late at night, didn't want to wake you. Quite a fascinating find, however.
Did you sleep well?
*He walked over to a standing cabinet, removed his coat, and dropped it inside of a Bio-bin. Taking a fresh coat out of the cabinet, he put it on and closed everything up*

She let the shirt drop down, stretching and nodding. After a big yawn, she scooted over to the edge of the bed.
"So what did you find? Can I see?" Goosie asked, touching her toes to the floor as she slid her legs around.

Hmm...? Oh, yes, yes. Plasmic levitation. It's still very... underdeveloped, though I bounced some ideas around. In a volcano. t'was fun.
*He stretched out a bit and took a good whiff of himself, only then realizing the stench of sulfur*
... Could be one of those days...

Hmm...? Oh yes, right, right. Where is one every supposed to find the time for such things...

"Sure! Lemme get dressed!" She pulled the curtain around and quickly changed into a red zip-up hoodie and a blue skirt.
After a few minutes of struggling to piles clothes back into their rightful storage space and fussing to smooth out her hair, she drew the curtain back and hurried over. Goosie stopped short of him as the smell overwhelmed her, backtracking and coughing a little.
"Wow, let's hope they never come up with a perfume called Eau de Volcano!"

Heh, yes, let's. If you want to run on ahead while I take a quick shower, I can meet you down in the arena at the control terminal?
*He loosened up the collar on his shirt and gazed over to the chemical shower, wondering if he should use that or vanish for something proper*

She sauntered out of the lab, heading for the elevator.

*The captain stood there a moment after Goosie's departure, and thought on a relaxing shower he once took in a far off place. Bringing it to realization, he smiled and teleported out of the lab, off to go take that shower*

Goosie entered the lab with haste, heading straight for the chemical cabinet in the back. She pulled it open and began to turn things around, checking labels hurriedly.
"Where are you?" She found herself asking the solvent, determined to find it quickly and prove that she could be of some use even in crisis situations.
